  • One of the biggest problems in maintaining Jira/Confluence are .. addons. There are too many of them with different support and safety. If those are no specific rules which addons can be installed and when it would be a complete mess. Handling maintenance of an instance where people keep asking for new things is very hard.…
  • Wow! Jira 4.4.4? Really? :) That was a long time ago :) I get you point @binjan shah .. You want to view some sub-tasks values on the parent (were is the sub-tasks section). That was possible by modifying the property jira.table.cols.subtasks Since 4.4 this is no longer done via jira-application.properties file.. You…
  • Well Jira Align would probably not have quickly so many users like Jira Software/Service Desk or Confluence, but it is great that you started to use Community and promote the new product in portfolio here. There would be ever time probably more and more questions, answers related to Jira Align, so good to see you here Tim…
  • Andreas, thank you for jumping in into discussion. Just to clarify. I am a Jira user and an admin just like you probably, I do not develop new features. I also have many complains of things that were stuck for years and know that probably this is from some reason. In other word before I complain now that there is not…
  • Hmm.. In September 2015, Atlassian renamed their Stash product to Bitbucket and I do not remember that it was possible in Stash.. This is one of the tickets that I have watched: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/BSERV-4458 For Bamboo link seems correct but keep in mind the note that it was tested only on specific version…
  • Hi @Tim Keyes , thank you for adding screenshots. Not it looks a lot better :)
  • It was a nice talk @Joe Pursel . Good that Atlassian is recording those so that we can get back to them after some time and look at the slides again.
  • Is this something what you are looking for? https://trello.com/power-ups/5d367a59d5db032812ddbf22/time-tracking-reporting
  • Hmm.. From what I see you are using Cloud and actually the BCC should work there also, at least I am not aware that it would not work.. Do you have Catch Email Address set as described in https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiracloud/creating-issues-and-comments-from-email-779288896.html
  • Good article @Tim Keyes however personally I would add here couple screenshots or images to give more visual effect to your steps
  • Yes, as I mentioned in my answer - "if a plugin is officially incompatible it does not mean that it would not work." it indeed might work in 8.5 and above but suddenly it might stop working or you might not test all features (or test all browsers) etc. There might be a scenario that is breaking the plugin functionality and…
  • Yeah. From what I see you are using a FREE Jira Cloud plan which .. have limited permissions features on projects. Everyone added to the side is added as admin by default so in theory seeing everyhing (all projects). That is why it might be confusing. This plan is new and maybe not everone be aware of the limitations. If…

  • Hi @Shaun Sheehan You can try to focus on users .. for example: * find users who are making many slow queries (that can be later optimized), * check who is making many sessions * check who is generating the biggest REST API traffic (for example from IDE) * find users that are have many logins * get top 3 assignees * check…
  • Hi @luizhauth Please check this KB which is related to what I have mentioned ealier https://confluence.atlassian.com/confkb/cant-edit-files-in-confluence-server-using-atlassian-companion-app-in-internet-explorer-edge-firefox-or-safari-981152695.html Unfortunately one of the workarounds is to use different browser if Safari…
  • Hi @Mehmet AKGÜN Thank you for joining Community and starting a discussion. As I understand you are not satisfied with some elements of UI in Jira (Cloud?) that makes you (an admin) hard to find specific functions. May we know what exactly is hard for you? Would be great to include some screenshots that would illustrate…

  • Hmm.. It might be also related to recent changes to Atlassian Companion due to security issue.. https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/confluence-security-advisory-2019-12-18-982324349.html Companion indeed is using some URL. Maybe Safari cannot handle that easily now. When this started to happen? Did you used Companion app…
  • Hi probably you added to a cart wrong type of certificate. If someone do no pass the exam usually get a voucher to try again. If your are in the same situation you need to put the voucher code in order to proceed. If not choose the correct exam from the list that is not related with voucher.
  • I'm missing something in this article. Would be great for example to add some steps to how to add those sections and layouts or at least link to Atlassian documentation - https://confluence.atlassian.com/confcloud/add-formatting-to-your-page-724764836.html
  • Yeah that is true however this is how things are done now.. You have something free that is limited and something more premium that usually is not free but gives what users want. Even Jira Cloud is having now two plans that cost double money. So if you guys really use Slack with Jira I suggest to not wait for something…
  • I am not aware of noting that would be official. There are existing suggestion request which I highly recommend you to vote and watch Cloud: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRACLOUD-63150 Server: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRASERVER-63150 Making a dark mode is mostly modification of CSS that is loading, so all of…
  • Well we do not see your current configuration to be able to exactly say what to do.. but it is possible to have many boards for different projects. Boards are layers on top of Jira projects. Everything is related to the filter (JQL) that you would use on your board and how the workflow is configured on those 5 projects (to…
  • Hi @Matt Richards , Check here https://userstyles.org/styles/browse/atlassian Maybe you can find the one that works :)
  • I personally saw a demo on Summit of this integration created by NextUp company https://slack.com/apps/A0Z9RG265-jira-integration It is not free but basically can give you all the power that you need directly from Slack (even replace Jira ;)). You can check if there is something that you are looking for..
  • I think you need to have a plugin to achieve this .. Few examples.. Jira Suite Utilities - then you need to add 'Time Tracking' field to the required screens and later add a 'Field Required' validator. Finally in the workflow transition entry for 'time' field. There is also an option using Power Scripts…
  • If I understand correctly I am afraid that this is not possible. When defining swimeline and using Queries you can one or more components that you want to group (filter). There is no automatic method that would filter your tickets component per swimeline.
  • Not actually on the report, but in the Board configuration Go to the desired board that you use for your sprint, then click Board > Configure. Click the Estimation tab. The Estimation page will be displayed.
  • Did you check you estimation statistic for your board as I suggested in my initial post? https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirasoftwareserver0713/configuring-estimation-and-tracking-965542358.html I want to make sure that you have Story Points set there.
  • Would be great to try out different network since there might be some change on the settings (for example done by IT) that might affect the connection. Without this it is hard to say what might happen. Maybe you can check if this would work when using web version of Trello? To be honest I am using the web version pinned to…
  • Could you paste a screenshot? I would like to check if we are thinking about the same gadget.
