Hi FlemingThanks for clarifying your question. With the additional context I can now see what you are trying to do. Unfortunately I have no knowledge that can help you here. Phill

Hi Fleming I am not sure why you feel the need to reindex. If a dashboard is showing out of date information you should check what the refresh cycle time is for each gadget as they are not live-feed gadgets. To do this you need administrator rights on the dashboard. Then look at the settings for any gadget that is not…

Whilst it is certainly possible to merge between different versions I would always try to reduce the number of differences between systems to a minimum so that testing can focus on the merger rather than any subtleties introduced by having different versions. You can then look…

I suspect that the spaces you cannot see are ones that have been built as or migrated to "Private personal spaces" and so are not visible to other users. https://confluence.atlassian.com/conf53/setting-up-your-personal-space-411108754.html talks about how personal pages are setup and step 2 is to decide if it is private or…

If you have a lot of components then you may also find that it has better performance using the NOT IN rather than IN clause. Some people find it helps to swap back and forth between Basic and Advanced to see how the condition is built as they make changes.
-
Hi @Christopher Yeleighton,The approach as described by @Nic Brough [Adaptavist] will work for the basic search method, my alternative was to use the basic search to the point where you want to remove the single component (or group of components). It is worthwhile getting to know the Advanced format as it provides greater…
-
Alternatively select the one you want to ignore and then switch to advanced searching and replace the IN clause with NOT IN. Eg... image2015-12-28 23:29:54.png becomes image2015-12-28 23:30:23.png in advanced view and then you simply add the word NOT as below image2015-12-28 23:31:9.png

A user with project administration rights can go into the project administration settings and manage versions/components etc from within there. Look for the Project Administration at the bottom of the left sidebar. image2015-11-23 16:8:14.png In the project administration sidebar you will now find a link for versions is…

You can see the version history for JIRA Software at https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirasoftware/jira-software-7-0-x-release-notes-776997721.html and for JIRA 6.X at https://confluence.atlassian.com/jira/jira-release-summary-159154300.html. These also describe what was different between the versions - a clear note of…

Hi @Keren Mor Piperberg If I understand you correctly your aim is to see OPs Team activity in the backlog of the Monsoon Operations Board. This is not possible as the items on the OPs Team board will also be progressing through the workflow and it is the status that is mapped to the column not the sprint. However, a…

If the notification is sent to the user there is no expiry on that invite that I am aware of. Although the token is different for each user.
-
If you use the invite user functionality as described at https://confluence.atlassian.com/conf56/confluence-administrator-s-guide/managing-confluence-users/adding-and-inviting-users#AddingandInvitingUsers-Invitingpeopletosignup then the link is valid until the token is reset.

Hi Andreas Jahn Olsson Glad to be able to help. Please upvote my response so that anyone else who encounters the same issue may find this answer in the future. Phill

Hi @Andreas Jahn Olsson The first thing I would check in this scenario is to make sure that nobody has amended the screen used at creation to include the resolution field. If they have then all users will be forced to include a resolution on creation giving the scenario you describe. Hope this helps Phill

I would set a different release plan for production to the dev plans and follow the instructions on https://confluence.atlassian.com/bamboo/naming-versions-for-deployment-releases-361726798.html to set the naming convention for each.

HI Diane,Sorry no easy ways at the moment but certainly worth raising this as a suggestion for Atlassian to review.Phill

Hi Diane, There are a couple of ways you can move closer to achieving the prioritisation by Epic. * You can adjust your filter for the scrum board to change the method of ordering from Rank (the default) to Epic then Rank. If you then give your title of an Epic a number at the start they will sort in the right order for…

Follow the instructions at https://confluence.atlassian.com/bitbucketserver/linking-bitbucket-server-with-jira-776640408.html to make sure you have full integration setup. But review the features list at https://confluence.atlassian.com/bitbucketserver/jira-integration-776639874.html to see what you should be expecting to…

Hi @Parag Patel In addition to the comments from Nic Brough [Adaptavist] and Gabrielle Bautista have you tried a complete reindex of your JIRA instance?
-
You can find the current version by selecting the help icon image2016-12-13 16:4:38.png then from the menu of options image2016-12-13 16:5:17.png Select About JIRA and this should show you a screen similar to the following image2016-12-13 16:6:8.png It is worth noting that this also gives you the version numbers for all…

GC is Garbage Collection the process of recovering used memory that can be recovered to free memory. When used memory is recovered it can take some time to execute and if the memory is too small this will happen frequently leading to performance issues. Have you isolated the issue to be memory related using…
-
It does no harm to set them the same, although this will mean that your instance will start at its maximum size and remain at that size. If the server on which this is installed is dedicated to hosting JIRA then there should be no other need for any changes of size during operation. Have you reviewed all the steps on the…
-
Hi You should review the content on https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRAKB/Troubleshooting+Performance+Problems if you have not already done so and see if that provides any more clues. Looking at your memory graph it looks like your JVM is still configured with the default settings and so you should also review…

Have you considered a filter subscription as an option to the RSS feed? Also think about how will you cope with any break in your RSS client - for example do you suspend it overnight? If so how about having a separate filter that provides you with "Start of the day" synopsis every working day? Also need to think about how…
-
Hi In order to troubleshoot this you need to follow a plan. First if you look at the issues filter does it show any results? If not then the RSS feed will not show any results Having confirmed that you should be seeing some issues then it is likely to be an authentication issue. Check…

See https://scriptrunner.adaptavist.com/latest/jira/recipes/workflow/postfunctions/set-issue-attributes.html for how this would work in principle what you would need would be a line similar to String currentUser = ((WorkflowContext) transientVars.get("context")).getCaller(); def userCf =…

This message is telling you that Confluence is not managing the user information this could be that it is set to link to another system such as LDAP or possibly JIRA and it is in that system that you need to change the personal information. A user with administrator permissions should check which system is managing your…

To achieve this you will need to add a script plugin such as ScriptRunner which can take your change and review the parent task due date for differences.
-
The grey out is to show you that this subtask (OML-30) is part of the story (OML-15). You should find another non-grey item on your board which is the current position of the story (OML-15). If the story and subtask are in the same column then the OML-15 will not be grey.

Hi Corinna, You can use exactly the same approach but this time use the post function to "Clear the field" rather than set it to a specific value. Phill
