I assume a refresh of the page did not solve the problem either. Can you check you application logfile to see if there are any other error details recorded in there.
-
My first check would be to make sure my authentication has not expired as this would have logged you out.

In addition to the speedy response from @Nic Brough [Adaptavist] you can read the reasons for the deprecation of SOAP at https://developer.atlassian.com/jiradev/latest-updates/soap-and-xml-rpc-api-deprecation-notice.

Thank you for the screenshot I now see that you are using the cloud version of JIRA which does not allow the upload of JAR files from local copies and as you have seen the version available from translations.Atlassian.com does not match the add-on descriptor. You have two options available to you. * Migrate to a behind the…

Ok I see what your issue is. You should leave the URL empty and simply use the file you downloaded. image2016-2-2 21:30:53.png Once you click on upload it will then install the jar file for you.

If you click on the link for JIRA Core (assuming that this is the application you wish to have in Czech) you will then see this page. https://translations.atlassian.com/dashboard/download#/JIRA Core/7.0.9 image2016-2-2 12:41:35.png You should confirm that this is the right product and then select the version that matches…

Please refer to the translations site for available files. https://translations.atlassian.com/dashboard/dashboard?lang=cs_CZ

This is not possible with the standard install of JIRA Software but can be achieved with the use of the ScriptRunner plugin. See https://scriptrunner.adaptavist.com/4.3.0/jira/jql-functions.html#_agile for more details of the additional JQL functions provided to work with Agile.

Hi Jing, Yes you can have a metric that tracks your reopened tickets. You would start the metric on the issue entering your reopened status and then decide what are appropriate stop and pause points for the metric. For instance you might have a refer to customer as a pause timer whilst the transition to closed may stop the…

Hi @Desiree Graste As you have found Clone does exactly what it says on the tin... It Clones the existing issue in its entirety including the spring field. There are a couple of options to help you... * Use Bob Swifts Clone+ plugin which gives you greater control over exactly what is cloned. * Add the sprint field to your…

Hi Corinna Can you please include a screenshot of the workflow that you are trying to edit showing the resolve/close transition that you wish to set the resolution on. This will help troubleshoot your problem. Phill

You should check the create screen that matches your issuetype and project and make sure that the fields are present and available for completion. The message is telling you that there is an issue when it tries to record the values that have been supplied as they are either not on the create issue screen or an "unknown"…

Hi Massimo, There are a number of different approaches documented in https://answers.atlassian.com/questions/9558 and https://answers.atlassian.com/questions/314427. Different approaches work better for different plugins and so it is worth experimenting to find the best combination for your install. Hope these help you…

I share your pain. And with the split of JIRA in to JIRA Core, JIRA Software and JIRA Service Desk the pain is multiplied...Where do you look if you have both JIRA Software and JIRA Service Desk...[Running for the padded room to bang head on wall...]

Hi ChrisI do not have JIRA Workflow Toolbox installed and a quick look at the documentation is showing lots of weird links.... But in principle it looks like you should be able to do the first requirement. So Condition can be based on regular expression or a mathematical check if you are just incrementing approvals which…
-
To meet your requirements you need to have a scripting plugin such as ScriptRunner to be able to make these changes. Using ScriptRunner this is how you would approach your two requirements. * On one work flow I require that a draft must be approved by two individual parties before progressing on to "Review Complete". And a…

In addition to the comments from Nic. If you are using an internal User Management Directory (eg LDAP/AD) you may wish to isolate their usage to only Confluence and so the users and the group could be created in an Confluence internal directory rather than your company-wide User Directory.

Hi Pedro PerezGrande Many people fall in to the same trap that you have in thinking that a project and an Agile board are implicitly the same. Whereas in reality an Agile board is a representation of a group of issues that can be any of the following * A single project and all issues within the project * A single project…

Hi Gilles, yes it does seem a little perverse at times the allocation of memory. I would look at the page <yourhost>/secure/admin/ViewMemoryInfo.jspa for any particular pain points. But be aware that a 100% usage is not always a bad thing. If you have a monitoring tool in place it is a good idea to benchmark some changes…

I assume that your reason for asking the question is because you are experiencing some performance issues. The optimal JVM settings differ for each install but it is worth reviewing the resources at https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRAKB/Crashes+and+Performance+Issues+Troubleshooting as these will help you with…

Can you confirm that you have either changed some permissions or added new permissions for Stephan when you try to save. You should also check your logfiles in case any reason is recorded in there when your save does not work.

As @Nic Brough [Adaptavist] has already commented changing the status of columns will not change any data on the issues. However, if you have changed the Simplified Workflow for your project already this will have caused any previous statuses to be renamed to match your new definition. So be aware that whilst changing the…

Thanks @Nic Brough [Adaptavist] for posting the answer whilst I was at lunch.

See the script on https://scriptrunner.adaptavist.com/latest/jira/scripted-fields.html#_calculate_a_number_based_on_other_fields for how to calculate the number of attachments.

To add to the answer from @Nic Brough [Adaptavist] with many elements of JIRA having their own way of reporting it is very difficult to get the single view of a project. It is entirely possible for a project to have reports in JIRA Software that relate to the delivery of the next version, whilst also having reports in JIRA…

Hi Luvo, In order to do this you will need to use one of the plugins that allow you to set a field as a postfunction on a workflow. There are several that will allow you to achieve this so it is worth checking if you have any already installed. For example... JIRA Misc Workflow Extensions JIRA Workflow Toolbox ScriptRunner…

Hi Gayathri I assume you want to pull other information in to your JIRA instance and are not thinking of using MS Access as your underpinning database. Firstly I would suggest considering how many users are going to be pulling the information from your Access database as the performance hit may be a challenge for you in…

HI Corinna, I work for Adaptavist but we do deliver a lot of the Atlassian University training courses. Glad to help make your day better.

Congratulations on getting it uploaded. Your problem seemed to stem from the reformatting that Excel did when it reopened your CSV files. Along with getting to grips with the different date formats. As we now have this challenge answered could you accept the answers?
-
Ok for simplicity sake I would retain the standard formatting for now and only create 3 or 4 lines of items. Then save as csv.Open the csv in Editor (not Excel) and confirm the format of the date columns. Then load this in to JIRA setting the date format to match what you saw in Editor (NOT what you see in Excel).Confirm…
