Depending on what change you are trying to make and the version of JIRA you are using, you can simply create a draft of that workflow, and then publish the draft. See https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA060/Configuring+Workflow#ConfiguringWorkflow-Editingaworkflow

All I could find was a tool to copy issues from one instance to another: https://zapier.com/zapbook/jira/jira/2983/copy-jira-issue-to-jira/ Also, Jobin commented Go2Group ConnectAll could do this, see: http://www.go2group.com/en/products/go2group-connectall/ I hope it helps!

You can possibly achieve this with the Craftforge JQL Functions Plugin (free) as well: (labels = "myTeamLabel" and project in ("Project 1", "Project 2")) OR (issue in subtaskIssuesFromQuery("labels= \"My_Label\" and project in (\"Project 1\", \"Project 2\")")) ORDER BY Rank ASC Cheers!

Hi Amina, You could possibly add a Issue Collector from JIRA in the web page you want - see Using the Issue Collector. Alternatively, if you're looking for something a bit more tailored, you can build something using the JIRA Rest API. I hope this helps!

You can navigate to the Administration » System » System Info page in JIRA: http://jira-address/secure/admin/ViewSystemInfo.jspa And search for Installation Type. That will show if JIRA is standalone or WAR. If it is WAR you should not use the installer (rapid upgrade). Instead, follow one of the recommended approaches…

Kathleen, Make sure the user you are using has the JIRA System Administrator permission under the Global Permissions page. (if you cannot see the 'JIRA System Administrator' permission there is because the user doesn't have it)
-
David, Is the filter for this kanban board only showing issues from one project? If it is pulling issues from different projects you will need to have the Project Administrators permission in all the projects. Cheers, Matheus

When you navigate to the transition in the workflow, rather than selecting "Validators", choose the Post-Functions tab.You should see a "Add post-function" link on the right, which will allow you to choose "Script Post-Function". Then just select "Custom script post-function" and use the code you want. :)

I haven't actually tested this, but if it doesn't work it should at least show you the logic to complete this. :P

Hi, Xinan Liu. You probably want something like: import com.atlassian.jira.ComponentManagerimport com.atlassian.jira.issue.Issuedef cf = ComponentManager.instance.customFieldManager.getCustomFieldObjectByName("Project Name")def value = issue.getCustomFieldValue(cf);if(value == null ){ value =…

Anytime, Adam!

Hi Adam, Unfortunately this isn't possible right now - this is being tracked as an improvement request on https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRA-25151 Currently it is only possible to customize the columns that appear for sub-tasks. :( Cheers, Matheus

Andy, * Open your workflows page - Administration » Workflows. If you are using the default workflow ('jira'), you'll need to copy the workflow, as the 'jira' workflow is read-only. * Click on 'Edit', next to the workflow name; * Click on 'Text' to switch to the 'Text Mode', which I particularly find easier to work with;…

Hi, Andrew. What is the version of JIRA you are using? This option will only be available for all users on JIRA 6.3.3+ (considering that it is using a newer version of JIM - see https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRA-39477). Also, make sure that the JIRA Importers plugin and all its modules are enabled. Cheers, Matheus

It seems you are using a Remote JIRA Directory to authenticate the users. Simply changing the URL on Confluence's database to point to the new URL should do the trick. :)
-
Hi Colleen, This problem is most often caused by the cookie being overwritten when accessing JIRA, Confluence or potentially any other applications with a web-login on the same domain or IP, such as with the below configuration: * JIRA: http://atlasserver:8080 * Confluence: http://atlasserver:8090 As the cookies are not…

Hi Leonardo, Just to confirm, the one in which you're unable to add HTML entities is JIRA OnDemand, right? If so, this is a restricted function in OnDemand. If the hosted solution is not our OnDemand subscription though, it's possible this is just happening because in one of your instances the Wiki Renderer Macros Plugin…

Try removing the "Allow incremental Synchronization" flag in the Crowd directory in JIRA and then Synchronizing the directory (which will perform a full sync). After that edit the directory again and re-enable the flag. I'm not sure what causes this yet, but I just saw a very similar behavior

I have just edited your question to add this add-on's tag so that the Innovalog team can see it.
-
Hey Campbell, We just spoke on the phone. Regarding your questions about the Calculated Number Field custom field from the JIRA Misc Custom Fields, you can get further help from Innovalog's Support team please see this Getting Support page. :) Cheers, Matheus

Anytime! :)

Nicolas, this is probably the problem then - there was a bug in JIRA Service Desk, which was only fixed in version 1.2.6: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JSD-446 Please try upgrading JIRA Service Desk and see if the same problem persists! :)
-
Nicolas, Could you confirm if the reporters are the one triggering the changes? If so, please make sure that the reporters have the 'Notify My Own Changes' setting in their user profiles set to 'Notify Me'. If this is not the case, may I know if you're using JIRA Service Desk? If so, in which version is it? Cheers

Hi Dana, Actually, to migrate a project from an standalone instance to OnDemand you'll need to: * Import OnDemand into a new standalone instance; * Upgrade JIRA 6.0.7 to the latest version (the same version which you imported OnDemand into); * And use the Project Import feature between the two standalone instances. * After…

As Nic said, the problem is that you've not configured the JIRA HOME Directory. To configure it, you'll simply need to use the Configuration Tool inside your JIRA_Install/bin folder (see Configuring the JIRA Home Directory). However, if you are planning on moving JIRA from one server to the other, I'd advise you to follow…

Hey, From the plugin's documentations, it seems the syntax for this is "linkedIssuesHasStatus (status,[linkType]", so how about: linkedIssuesHasStatus ("Closed","reletes to") or linkedIssuesHasStatus ("Closed","is related to") Cheers!
-
Yes, just search for "Importing cascading choice custom fields" in the https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA/Importing+Data+from+CSV doc :)
-
Hi, Pudi. You should be able to import it into a cascade select field using the following syntax: Summary, My Cascading Custom FieldExample Summary, Parent Value -> Child Value Reference: Importing Data from CSV I think it will only work though from the CSV importer in the Administration: Administration » System » External…

I'm not sure if this helps, but it doesn't hurt to share right>? :) https://zapier.com/zapbook/trello/jira/594/create-jira-issue-trello-card/

I'm glad to hear that! :)
