What if you create a filter as: Sprint in openSprints() AND project = 'Your Project' Then you can create the a Pie Chart gadget using this filter. Let me know your thoughts!

Hi John Definitely! You just need to add a POP or IMAP mail server and create mail handlers to parse the emails from your POP/IMAP server and create the tickets in your projects (you'll need to add one mail handler/project). See: * Configuring JIRA to Receive Email from a POP or IMAP Mail Server; * Creating Issues and…

Create a Security Scheme/Level and only grant the assignee of the issue the ability to see it. Also, make the "Assignee Only Security Level" the default level so it will be added by default. You can see more about this in our Configuring Issue-Level Security docs. I hope this helps! :)

Hi Flavio, Does No delete option on Screens help? Cheers

Could you try to increase the memory then (try setting it to Xmx1024 Xms512)? Also, how was the disk speed test?
-
Scott, check out the following guides, that have a bit more info on this error and the possible culprits: * JIRA System Plugin Timeout While Waiting for Plugins to Enable * Troubleshooting JIRA Startup Errors I hope this helps! :)

Ryan, What if you try searching for text ~ "\"[~username]\"" Does it return all issues?
-
Hi Tracy, Ask them to test this in different browsers, or using their browser's private/incognito/inPrivate functionality. It's possible this is happening due to cached data or cookies in the browser. As you weren't able to replicate the problem when logged in as the user, it's likely it's something related to the…

select * from projectroleactor where roletypeparameter not in (select groupname from groupbase) and roletype='atlassian-group-role-actor';
-
Try running the Integrity Checker to fix this. If the Integrity Checker doesn't fix it, use the following to list all the projectroleactors that do not have a corresponding group in the groupbase table (in case you are using a version prior to 4.3): select * from projectroleactor where roletypeparameter not in (select…

Just to be sure, did this resolve the problem?
-
It's just a hunch, but I think you must have the JIRA Users global permission to be able to edit this. See if the other admins that can do it have this permission, or grant this to yourself. :)

Anytime!

Hi Stian, There is a cog icon to the right of custom field names. There you'll have the option to configure, delete or edit it. Cheers, Matheus

Hi there, Our findings have been published to this blog that outlines the issue context, please take some time to review the details here: http://blogs.atlassian.com/2014/04/openssl-cve-2014-0160-atlassian/ I hope this helps

You are welcome! ;)

* (Optional) If you want JIRA's help links ( ) to point to your local documentation, you will need to:* edit JIRA's /WEB-INF/classes/help-paths.properties file and change the url-prefixline so that it points to the 'JIRA' space in your local Confluence site, e.g.:url-prefix=http://confluence.mycompany.com/display/JIRA/ *…

Hi Chris, That is inside the jquartz_triggers table. You can get those with: SELECT * FROM jquartz_triggers WHERE trigger_name LIKE '%com.atlassian.jira.issue.subscription.DefaultSubscriptionManager%'; The trigger_name of subscription will look like: com.atlassian.jira.issue.subscription.DefaultSubscriptionManager:10100 I…

David, If it ends on *.atlassian.net or *jira.com, it's an OnDemand instance. Otherwise, it's a on premise.

Sorry, what I wanted to say is that that is (one of) the API that checks the Browse User permission:"Ability to select a user or group from a popup window as well as the ability to use the 'share' issues feature."That is the API to select a user or group :)

You are probably looking for https://docs.atlassian.com/jira/REST/latest/#d2e160 : /rest/api/2/groupuserpicker Returns a list of users and groups matching query with highlighting.

Try using https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/com.burningcode.jira.issue.customfields.impl.jira-watcher-field. Alternatively, you may use this plugin and create a new custom field. Then, add a post-function to add the value of the new custom field to the list managed by this plugin. :)

The only thing I can think of would be to export an XML backup, open it, use 'Search and Replace' on them and re-import the XML backup. Or to try to update the 'reqcontent' column in the 'searchrequest' table of the database to change this - however, I'm not sure if this would break anything, so please backup JIRA before…
-
That seems odd. Could you verify if there aren't any modules disabled for the add-on?
-
Hi Alex, Not by default - unless you are using an add-on such as the Craftware Search Attachments for JIRA, for example, JIRA does not index information about attachments. That's why there is not much options to search based on Attachments in JIRA. Cheers, Matheus

Check if both projects use the same Renderer for the Description field on Administration > Projects > "Your Project" > Fields. The Configuring Renderers page describes further about this.
-
Hey there, Karie! This is possible to achieve by using the Craftforge JQL Functions Plugin, which finds all sub-tasks of parents found by a specified query . You should use a query like the following: issue in subtaskIssuesFromQuery("issueType = \"Epic\"") I hope this helps!

Klaus, It is possible to install all of them in the same server - there are no incompatibility between the applications that would prevent that. But I'd still advise you to try to split the applications between at least two VMs (one for JIRA+GreenHopper and one for Bamboo+Confluence) or three VMs (keeping the database in a…
