Hi Pavan, This actually isn't possible by default in JIRA, but we are tracking this request on JRA-5052. There are some add-ons in our Marketplace that provide this feature though, such as the Clone Plus for JIRA. I hope this helps!

Hi David, The product is actually the same, the difference is the installation method. Version 6.3.5a actually has a simpler installation method whereas the 'Try JIRA' blue button while you're installing the product will install the product for evaluation, setting up all application properties and the database (HSQLDB)…

I'll be awaiting! :)

You will need to re-index JIRA after deleting the missing links if that's the case. Let us know if that fixes the issue. :)

I have seen similar problems when there were invalid associations in the nodeassociation table, pointing issues to (in that case components) that didn't exist, but I imagine the same could happen for versions. I'd suggest reaching out to our support on support.atlassian.com though. Reference:…

Hi Satyendra, I'm afraid it is not yet possible to transition issues through the customer portal by default. Currently, the only way to do that is by using a paid third-party add-on that extends the default JIRA Service Desk functionality (Service Pack for JIRA Service Desk). We are tracking this request on JSD-40, which…

I'm not sure I completely understood your request, but only users with the 'Browse Project' project permission will be able to see the project. So in the Administration » Projects » "Your Project" screen you can change both the 'Roles' and 'Permissions' tab accordingly to restrict which users can see which projects. Cheers

Yes, you can. You'll need to purchase a license for JIRA Software and you can install JIRA Agile following the steps here: https://confluence.atlassian.com/x/WBiLLg . JIRA Agile will accept and use the JIRA Software license.

Anytime! I'll also pass this feedback along here to see if there's anything we can do to improve this. Thanks! :)

I see, you're referring to the 'support.atlassian.com has been updated to use JIRA Service Desk. If you have questions about how to use Service Desk, check out our Service Desk FAQ' message. This is simply stating that now Atlassian Support is using JIRA Service Desk to support our customers. This is actually the page…
-
Hi there, Could you clarify which message and on which page? JIRA Service Desk is an add-on for JIRA, as JIRA Agile is; so unless you're using JIRA Service Desk and want support for it, there's no need to pay for JIRA Service Desk to receive support for JIRA - see…

Srinivas, IE10 is known to have problems with older versions of the applications, so I'd advise you to either use another browser or, if you have upgraded this for all users that access the apps, to upgrade JIRA and Confluence. IE 10 is supported for JIRA since 6.0, and for Confluence since 5.1. Cheers

Basically, in order to be able to export more then one thousand issues, you will need to: * Create a new jira-config.properties file inside your JIRA-HOME folder; * Add the following options to the new file:jira.search.views.default.max = 1500 This property sets a 'soft' limit on the number of issues returned. This number…

Oh yes! Sorry for the confusion. Just click on 'Edit' on the issue type after creating them.

This is no longer possible since JIRA 6.2 - see JIRA 6.2 Release+Notes: This release introduces new "lozenges" to represent statuses in JIRA. We've switched from the old icon+text representation to make it easier for users to locate and identify statuses. The new status lozenges also conform to the Atlassian Design…

You shouldn't have any problems renaming or moving the JIRA Installation Directory, as JIRA doesn't modify or store any data in this directory. The only thing you should verify before renaming it is if there aren't any, for example, environment variables, services or startup scripts in your server that points to the JIRA…

Hi Rahul, If you are running JIRA 6.1 or a newer version, this query should help: SELECT p.pkey||'-'||ji.issuenum, filename, filesize FROM fileattachment fa JOIN jiraissue ji ON ji.id = fa.issueid JOIN project p ON ji.project = p.idWHERE fa.created > '2014-01-01' AND filesize > '10485760'; If you are using older version,…

You shouldn't face this issue in the latest JIRA releases (since JIRA 4.4.5) as the lastest releases force IE not to use the Compatibility View, which is what causes this issue. Also, setting the 'Browse Mode:' option in your browser to 'IE8' should fix this issue in your current instance - Press F12 to be able to view…

Hi Manjul, I believe you use the Zendesk for JIRA plugin in OnDemand, right? This is actually a third-party add-on that is developed and supported by Zendesk, so perhaps Zendesk Support may be able to give you a more precise answer? :) Cheers, Matheus

Dan, What is the version of JIRA that you are using? If 4.4 or above, have you set this in the jira-config.properties file? Basically, in order to be able to export more then one thousand issues, you will need to: * Create a new jira-config.properties file inside your JIRA-HOME folder; * Add the following options to the…

Hi Ole, It isn't possible to do this by default in JIRA using JQL, but you can do this by running the following query in your database: SELECT p.pkey, ji.issuenum FROM component c JOIN nodeassociation na ON na.sink_node_id = c.id JOIN jiraissue ji ON ji.id = na.source_node_id JOIN project p on p.id = ji.project JOIN…

oh, nice! :) And you are welcome! I'm just glad to hear you've got this working now. All the best, Matheus Fernandes

If the emails are stuck, yes, please try flushing them. To be honest, I don't think it will work, but it's worth the shot. In case it does not solve this issue, I'd advise you to restart JIRA. By doing so, you'll loose all emails on the queue, but any new ones should be sent.

Hi Angie, Three things that crossed my mind right now: * The Notification Scheme is not correctly configured; * The Mail Server is not responding; * Or, if you are running JIRA 5, the My Changes: option in your user profile is set to Do not notify me. Also, if you are running JIRA 5, the JIRA Admin Helper plugin may come…

Replacing, 1 and 3 with the actual fix versions, of course. :P
-
If you are looking for issues that have both the fixVersions, try: fixVersion = '1' AND fixVersion = '3'

Ah, got it. Then indeed our support is the best way to get this working as soon as possible. :)

Hi Simon, It looks as there is actually a problem with the import. My suggestion would be to open a request on https://support.atlassian.com so that our Support team can take a deeper look into it (please also attach the logs from your JIRA server instance if you can). My only advice right now would be to try to log in…

Yes. To import the project you'd first need to import the full backup into a test instance in the same version as the target instance. Then, export a new backup from the test and try to import that. See our Restoring a Project from Backup docs: Project Import Restrictions The Project Import tool will only import a project…

What is the version of JAVA that you are using? And what is the OS on which you are running JIRA?
