Go to my.atlassian.com and create a new evaluation license of JIRA. Then, when importing the Cloud data to the in-house test instance, apply the key when selecting the backup file. :)

Hi, Johnathan. You should: * Restore the OD (Cloud) backup to a local/test JIRA 6.4.4 instance of JIRA; * Upgrade the current in-house instance to the latest available (6.4.4); * Create a backup of the test instance (with Cloud data); * Import it into the in-house 6.4.4 instance. I hope this helps!

Complementing what Ramiro said, if you are using a custom field, remember to update the custom field context for the Project/Issue Type. Also, you can use the JIRA Admin Helper to see why the field is not appearing. -- Complementando o que o Ramiro disse, se tu estás usando um Custom Field, lembra de atualizar as…

Hi Lara, Could you check if those issues actually have the Resolution field, and if the field has a value? It could be that you're facing the same problem as described on JRA-33408. Cheers
-
Ruben, Could you check if the user trying to search for other users have the Browse Users global permission? Cheers

Hi Kite, The only errors that I can think of is if there are incompatible plugins in the JIRA 6.2 instance or any incompatibility with JIRA's Supported Platforms. If that's all correctly configured you should be able to import JIRA 5.2 data directly with no problems. If you face any problems with that, please let us know!

Try running the following SQL in JIRA's database: SELECT * FROM jiraaction WHERE actionlevel = '<group-name>'; This should return all comments with the restriction level set to that group. Just change <group-name> with the actual name of the group.

Tukaram, We have a KB article that should help with this, please see: How to Hide the "Configure Fields" Button on the Create Issue Screen. Please note though that by doing so you'll simply remove the button, so any user who had already configured the fields will end up only seeing the fields previously configured.…

Yeah... It could be a good tip for Maxim at "What plugin JIRA needed?" though. :)

Hi Klanz, It really is not available at this time, see the following thread here at the Atlassian Answers: how to customize tooltips on dropdown fields Also, there was New Feature Request for this, but is resolved as won't fix: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRA-22435 Cheers, Matheus Fernandes

I am not sure what is the background on this, but if you have just installed/upgraded JIRA Agile, try running a full re-index.
-
Ah, make sure that the user is active.
-
Is perhaps the user's username 'mmm' instead of 'mmm@my.com'? Try checking this user in the database (cwd_user / app_user tables). :)
-
Dave, Could you try adding a post function to change the assignee to the 'current user' and then execute a trigger action through Bitbucket?
-
The JIRA Suite Utilities plugin has a "Fields required, mandatory, during transition" condition that you can use to achieve this. :)
-
David, Depending on the version of JIRA/GreenHopper and Universal Plugin Manager that you are using, there are two different ways of upgrading the GreenHopper's license. * The first one is through the UPM, you need to access the "Manage My Plugins" panel (Administration » Plugins » Plugins), click on GreenHopper to expand…

Or, by assignee=jeppsenc and updatedDate > "2012/10/18 00:00" and updated < "2012/10/18 23:59"
-
Jeison, Cordell, The "updatedDate" is actually a date and time field, and it will assume midnight if the time component is not specified. Hence by this search it will only return issues updated on "2012/10/18 00:00". To search for all the issues updated on this day, you'd need to search as: assignee=jeppsenc and…

Firstly, ensure that all the plugins you had installed in your JIRA 4.1 instance are compatible with JIRA 5.1.6 and reinstall them in the new instance. After all the plugins are installed again, if the problem persists, it's likely that this problem is occurring to some JIRA cached data, so I'd advise your to: * Shutdown…

Violette, Please see this thread, as I suspect this may be the same problem: https://answers.atlassian.com/questions/251286 Depending on the version of JIRA you are using, and what browser you are using, this add-on may help: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/com.atlassian.plugins.jira-html5-attach-images. If you…

You can actually install the applications together. So if you have already installed JIRA Software, for example, you can just navigate to your Applications page and upload JIRA Service Desk from https://www.atlassian.com/software/jira/service-desk/update - just make sure to choose the Already have JIRA Software or JIRA…

Customers on JIRA Service Desk will only and always receive the notifications when the following events occur: * when they raise a request through the Customer Portal, * when their request is resolved, * when another user comments on their request, and * when there is a change in the request's status, i.e. the 'status…

This plugin was bundled into JIRA since JIRA 6.4 Admins are still allowed to disable it through the Manage Add-ons page, under System Plugins.

Hi Nick, The JIRA Suite Utilities adds a 'Transitions' tab to the default View Issue page, which provides a detailed history of the workflow transitions for the issue, including: * State transitioned from, and state transitioned to. * Time spent in the starting state. * Number of times the transition has been executed. *…

Hi there, This is not something possible by default in JIRA, but you can definitely use a third-party plugin, such as the Script Runner (which incorporated the features of the former Behaviours Plugin), to achieve this. If you do want to do this with JIRA's native features, you could possibly set up a new transition in the…

Hi Mojito, There isn't any hard limit regarding how many groups a user can be a part of. That being said, for both performance (JIRA has to check permissions for all groups for each user, for example) and management sake, I would indeed advise on using Project Roles instead. You can, for example, simply add the user to the…

I agree. :P But is definitely a highly requisitioned one.

A plugin to translate custom fields would definitely be a very good one (see https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRA-6798)

Sean, It is possible to do that through the database running the following query: SELECT ci.oldstring AS "Old Key", ci.newstring AS "New Key", cg.author, cg.created FROM changeitem ci JOIN changegroup cg ON ci.groupid = cg.id JOIN jiraissue ji ON cg.issueid = ji.id WHERE ci.field = 'Key' AND ji.pkey = '<issue-key>'; Just…
