Hi Jacek, in my post I was talking about translations that HAD been accepted... with no effect. Nevertheless, I'll try the new plugin:-) Cheers Christian

We're using a prefix for each component. Not the best way but it works...
-
Maybe have a look at the "Epic/Theme" field. Make sure the field is visible (I mean check the fields context).
-
Oh I see...We've configured our user directory to be "Read-Only with local groups"...
-
As far as I know you don't have to create the group in your AD. We created a local group temporarily in our internal directory, did the bulk-copy and deleted the group afterwards...Wouldn't that work for you? Cheers Christian

Just curious, can you address the number field by its ID? You're checking for an empty value in a select list...usually the select lists do have option values like "-1" for "none"...
-
Are those issues closed (have a resolution set)? The "assigned to me" gadget only shows open issues... Cheers Christian

You can ignore that message. Place the file somewhere on a server (that can be reached out of your JIRA) and configure the Bugzilla ID gadget to point to that server location. That way the JQL is executed instead of searching your old bugzilla.
-
What we did was to use the bugzilla ID gadget. Instead of referencing the old bugzilla bug search (show_bug.cgi) we placed a file on our server (show_bug.cgi) which actually executed the following script: <html><head> <title>JIRA search</title> <script type="text/javascript"> function get(name){ if(name=(new…

Thank you guys. In SQL I would need something like a datepart to get the date. So now I know that "createdDate" is a timestamp... I thought of that before and tried to test the query against dueDate which didn't produce any results either. THAT must have been an indexing problem and I thought it was a general probem I was…

I have tried re-indexig with no results. hat I wanted (as an example) are the issues created on Feb 27. No results for this query: createdDate = "2012-02-27" All the relevant issues after this query: createdDate >= "2012-02-27" and createdDate < "2012-02-28"

Hi, I'm usig JIRA 5.0 but we've tested the query in older version as well with no results...Single quotes, double quotes. I'll keep trying and keep u informed

HI, this is documented in the Team Calendar FAQs... and in the release notes of version 1.2 http://confluence.atlassian.com/display/TEAMCAL/Team+Calendars+FAQ#TeamCalendarsFAQ-CanIchangethestartingdayoftheweek http://confluence.atlassian.com/display/TEAMCAL/Team+Calendars+1.2+Release+Notes Can I change the starting day of…

It is a system field but the values are project specific

Do you have different screens / field configurations in use in your target project? And for the field "content": Every project has its own components. Movin a field to another project doesn't add the component to the component list of your target project.
-
Maybe it's a sub-filter in your filter query. Look at the config: https://answers.atlassian.com/questions/100200/greenhopper-boards-show-no-issues
-
Any quick filters preventing the issues to show up?
-
Maybe I didn't understand the question properly. If you want to make it madatory across the entire issue lifecycle (workflow), Vijay is right of course. Simply make the field mandatory in the field config that's associated with the issue type/project and you're done

Hey, check this code: http://www.j-tricks.com/tutorials/silly-javascript-hacks-or-is-it <script type="text/javascript">AJS.$("#customfield_11300").parent().children('label').append('<span class="aui-icon icon-required"></span>');</script> You can add the code to the field description of a custom field. (Depending on the…

No problem. To be honest, I don't use the quick search I search Answers via Google ;-)
-
BTW, posting the question twice doesn't make it better ;-) I'll close the older one. https://answers.atlassian.com/questions/178832/google-chrome-scrollbar-minimized Cheers Christian

Hey, you should check the forum first :-) There have been plenty of similar questions: https://answers.atlassian.com/questions/152787/confluence-edit-page-in-chrome-27-look-bad There has been an issue: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONF-28415 and a patch... Cheers Christian

Try this add-on: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/com.arsenale.plugins.lockpoint/server/overview Cheers
-
Not possible from the UI. You might want to check out that answer though: https://answers.atlassian.com/questions/178288 Hope that helps, Cheers
-
I doubt that this will be possible. Atlassian will not be syncing your data (file system, db...)I guess if you want a test system: Pay for another one and "manually" rebuild your config. If you want the full flexibility you would probably have to use the BTF solution.Maybe someone from Atlassian can confirm this...
-
Pay for another 10$ instance?! Cheers Christian

Depends...

Modifying each workflow is a pain, you're right but once you get the time here's sth. I did with all my workflows: I replaced the jira.issue.editable property with the following: jira.permission.edit.group = jira-administrators That way the issues aren't editable for any users but I can do whatever I want and I have to do…

My opinion is to avoid messing with the DB directly! I would use Jamie's script runner plugin which has a built-in script to bilk-edit resolution... https://jamieechlin.atlassian.net/wiki/display/GRV/Built-In+Scripts Cheers
