What about the log files, anything in there that could help us?
-
I guess posting what error you're talking about would help identifying the problem ;-)
-
This isn't a question either...
-
Weird thing is, I'm experiencing the SAME problem right now:-) I have several instances in different browsers and at the same time there is a timeout in all instances...
-
Hey, may be your browser. I've experienced the same behaviour a while ago using an older firefox version. After an update it worked just fine. (By that time a got a simultaneous timout on every website I was logged into) Cheers Christian

Turn them off one by one and wait until people start complaining :-)

JIRA used to work like that but many people (including me) like the way it behaves nowadays. You can create issues on the fly without being distracted from you current work (issue you are viewing at the time). Anyways, if you're not quick enough, simply click on the issues tab and the issue you just created will be at the…
-
For a quick info you could also check the user sessions in your JIRA admin. As Nic mentioned you won't be able to tell if the session really is "active" though.
-
Assigning an issue automatically can be done through post-functions as described in those pages mentioned by Hanis. http://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA/Configuring+Workflow Post functions — these perform particular actions after the transition is complete, e.g.:* Assign the issue to a particular user. * Send an…

Hey Nic, do you remember which client program you used?

I got my "No" from Atlassian. By the way, I'm not on OnDemand. Just didn't want to create a duplicate question. Has anyone an idea or already tried using the MAPI-file or any other workaround? Just want to check since my customer wants a solution for this problem and if I can tell him that this will end up in weeks of…
-
I've contacted Atlassian wainting for a reply. I guess a "NO" from the software vendor will classify as "Well, then we have to dismiss the idea of using a mail handler". Thanks for your answer anyway. It's always good to double-check.
-
Hi, I have the same problem with a customer of mine. POP and IMAP (even over SSL) are not allowed (company policy). Is there any workaround? Cheers Christian
-
Are you the assignee of all of the issues?
-
Maybe those issues are in a final state (step, status...). If are are no outgoing transitions you don't have workflow buttons... 2. idea: You don't have the right to transition those issues (e.g. not member of the project role that is allowed to transition the issue) Cheers Christian

Any success yet?
-
You need the "Browse Users" global permission in order to use @mentioning https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA/Managing+Global+Permissions Cheers
-
Have you tried linking like this: [file://///server/temp/foo.txt] ? Seems to work for me (but only in Internet Explorer) See: http://kb.mozillazine.org/Links_to_local_pages_don%27t_work You might want to check: http://confluence.atlassian.com/display/DOC/Working+with+Links (...and the comments on July, 26th) Cheers…

Hey, as this is an international forum, please try to post questions in English. Btw. I don't have any shiny presentations. Sorry... Cheers
-
Check your profile and the "notify for own changes" box and see if it's ticked... If not, you won't get mails for chages that you have made yourself. Other than that, an administrator can set this globally... Cheers
-
Definitively. I'll raise one as soon as I get time... Cheers Christian

Hey Danial, are you talking about the built-in priorities? My use case is the following: I have a custom field (named severity). Options are: critical high medium low If I select natural sorting in my two-dimensional filter gadget the option are sorted alphabetically: critical high low medium

Now I know what you are talking about. I just found this link: http://confluence.atlassian.com/display/AOD/Administration+console+differences I've been talking about a layout which you can see on the right side. There you have a projects tab..... Since I#m not familiar with your layout I'm probably not able to help…

What exactly do you mean by "issues admin" page"
-
Strange, I've set up a demo user who is the project administrator for a single project. When I navigate to this specific project (under projects tab /dashboard---projects---issues) and afterwards click on the "administer project" button I get to the administration page for that project. There I can assign roles, edit…
-
Usually the project role administrator is linked to the "administer projects" permission. That way the user can access the project administration page but with limited options (changes roles, edit component and versions). Maybe an overview of your security setting would coulfd clarify your problem. Cheers Christian
-
Hey, so you don't even see the tab on your view issue screen? . If you select your default permission scheme it should look sth. like my attached screenshot. There you should select the view version control and "add" yourself or a group you belong to...
