Hey, check this post. It may help you. https://answers.atlassian.com/questions/28157/how-do-i-define-which-status-should-be-considered-done-statuses AFAIK the Greenhopper deinition of done is defined by the rightmost colum of your board. Maybe you could map the DONE status to that column aswell. Cheers Christian

Hey, ever tried to google exactly what you're asking for? "JIRA disable smiley" brings you the following: https://answers.atlassian.com/questions/22239/disable-smileys-in-jira The answer even has been posted in this forum! Cheers Christian

You should definitively vote on this issue which is related to your question: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRA-13245

Usually you have a menu option to convert a task into a subtask. If you don't find that option under the "More" tab you might want to check if the task you'Re trying to convert already has a subtask itself?! In that case you can't convert it. You'd have to make the subtask a regular task first.…

Is the status mapped to a column on your board?

If it's the global permission it's under users-->global permissions JIRA Users Ability to log in to JIRA. They are a 'user'. Any new users created will automatically join these groups, unless those groups have JIRA System Administrators or JIRA Administrators permissions.

I was asking a similar question and also haven't found a solution yet... https://answers.atlassian.com/questions/108105/restrict-issue-link-types-to-certain-projects

Hey, this is not the official support :-) . There have been bugs in the UPM and related questions here in the forum...without further info about your system, your version etc. it'll be hard to help you out:-) Try to raise a support ticket and include your logs... https://support.atlassian.com/secure/Dashboard.jspa Cheers…

Hey, check this question. If you're using a browser other than IE it probably is a security problem... Cheers Christian https://answers.atlassian.com/questions/21205/confluence-how-to-place-a-link-to-a-file-on-a-server-share-in-a-confluence-page

I would use two transition: 1. Retest pass--> Transition to status closed 2.Retest fail --> Transition to current status with post-function "assign to XY"
-
I mean you could set a different security level as a post-function of the create issue event... Set it to 1 and only group A see the issue, set it to 2 and only group B is able te see the issue... To limit the visibility of issue types to chose from when they are creating an issue you'd have to do some scripting I guess…
-
You could either open the issue in a new tab (CTRL + click) or click on the issue key on top of the detail view...
-
Basically you'll have to make sure that e.g. the due date field, which is a standard JIRA field and therefore probably on the create issue screen, is present on the screen: https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA/Defining+a+Screen#DefiningaScreen-Configuringascreen'stabsandfields Then you enter a value when you…
-
How about using the due date and an issue filter returning all sub-tasks that are due? Sth. like type = "sub-task" AND due <=endOfWeek() and resolutions IS EMPTY // all issues that are due before the end of the weektype = "sub-task" AND due <=startOfDay() and resolutions IS EMPTY // all issue that are due tofay ore overdue…

Mmmh. All I know is that you can control your watches in your user profile. Why you can't watch these offical pages, I don't know...

I would look at the workflow conditions. If you're using the standard workflow it comes with a "current assignee" condition, which means that only the current assignee can trigger that workflow transition.
-
You're welcome. maybe you could accept the answer since otherwise the question won't be marked as answered...
-
Just add the "assignee" field to the transition screen and you'll be fine
-
I would get in contact with the official Atlassian support: https://support.atlassian.com/ https://support.atlassian.com/servicedesk/customer/portal/5/create/36 Cheers, Christian

Hey, it's the description you can use right next to the actual priority name https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA/Defining+%27Priority%27+Field+Values

You could check the following plugin. It has a "field has a value" condition built-in. https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/com.innovalog.jmwe.jira-misc-workflow-extensions Other than that I'd go for Jamies behaviours or script runner plugin to script my way through...…

NOt sure if this will be possible. Usually you would use the text gadget : https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA/Adding+the+Text+Gadget but because of a potential security risk this is not possible in OnDemand... Cheers

Hey, in JIRA 5 as an administrator you can chage the ownership of dashboards. In your case you could reassign the dashboard to your "lower-case case" user and delete the user afterwards. http://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA/Managing+Shared+Dashboards…

Make sure you have enabled the log work feature at all...see the time tracking administration page... <cite>https://confluence.atlassian.com/.../JIRA/Configuring+Time+Tracking</cite>

Can you post the link to the JIRA issue?

Hey Josh, I can't see any screenshots... Cheers

I guess it boils down to this: * People always get notified when they have been mentioned * The second email most likely is the email triggered by the "Commented" event Look at your notification scheme and look at the emails you receive. The summary of the email will most likely look different. e.g. XY has mentioned you in…

I'm not sure what you want. Can you log in successfully? I had the log entry once because of a problem in a custom plugin...Didn't have to do anything with JIRA though..
