Probably a pretty lame guilty pleasure, but I think I'm allergic to apples and I LOVE apples. : ( So occasionally I'll eat a spoonful of my kids apple sauce ... and pay for it later, but it was worth it in the moment.

Sounds interesting. I would imagine though that one drawback would be that anyone that does not have the "can use" permission does not show up in the people directory. So, if you use the people directory for your internal "phone book" deactivated users would not show ... unless you have some kind of workaround for that?

Sorry to hear that you will stepping away from being a community leader. I wish you well in your future endeavors.

@Kat Warner So I know what eels, pigs, and fish are. The rest I will need to Google.

@Thomas Schlegel I believe this is year 4 for your advent calendar. You sir, rock!

In your service desk project you can create organizations when you click on customers. This allows you to assign customers to organizations. Once you've created the organizations and assigned your customers to them you can target these with an automation rule.

There are a couple ways to do this. If you use the include macros included with Confluence the content needs to exist in the least restrictive space and then be included into the more restrictive space in order to not have permissions issues. You could store the content in an open space and then put an edit restriction on…

Well, watchers always get emails, and it is a typical setup to have notifications sent to the issue reporter.

You could use the REST API to get the data with a cron/scheduled task job and then write over the existing page. This solution would require someone who can do a bit of programming. Get a specific historical version You can get the page storage format for a specific version below. Specifically in the JSON it is the…

An expertise field is not a default part of user profiles in Confluence. Do you by chance have an app that is adding that functionality? If so, you would need to see if the app has a REST APIthat exposes that data. Atlassian released APIs will not include data from third party apps.

There are a couple ways I could think to do this. * If you happen to have the SQL app for Confluence you could directly query the database and put the results on the page in a table. * You could use the REST api as a service account and then parse that and put it on a page.

This is great. I don't see anything on the pages that I have looked at though that says anything about penetration testing results. Maybe I'm missing it.
-
A thought would be that you could create a web service based drop down that is populated with the people in the group. The Confluence REST api is ... https://{your server}/rest/api/group/{group name}/member That way the only people that are selectable are people in the group.
-
Do you happen to have ScriptRunner for Jira? If so you could use ScriptRunner to change that on issue creation using the create transition post function.

@Ritika Singh that sounds like a great personal goal. It's always great to learn new things. Since this community is specifically for Atlassian products I think any of us here would say that learning Atlassian's products would be a good thing to do. Now as for learning python there are lots of good online learning courses…

I love mountain biking but have not done it much in the last year after I moved. I would like to get back into that. I love just being out in nature racing down trails and getting dusty.

Welcome @Sandra to the Atlassian Community. Don't be afraid to ask questions and jump in. We're nice people and all of us were also rookies at one point so we know where you're at.

1) The dialer ... I guess nobody else in this thread will actually be making calls with their phone. : ) 2) Calculator 3) Camera

@Leonardo Montenegro The kudos program is currently in a pilot state with just a few people. The goal is to revamp the online community points system to be better going forward. Unfortunately, the emails went out to more people than are in the pilot.

Welcome @Jason Brown to the Atlassian Community. If you are just getting started with Jira, I would recommend YouTube. When I first started administering Jira I found some video on YouTube that really help me. This was the series that I started with and it helped a lot.

Confiforms is a big one that we use and while there is a Cloud version it is more limited and doesn't work at all with the new Fabric editor since you messed up nested macros.
-
If you are on server or data center there is the Include Content app that can do this. It is free and the source code is also available.

How can you expect your customers to be ok with the HUGE price increases that will come from this ... especially during these times? For instance this is what we pay annually for our Atlassian Products and apps. Server - Total $38,643 Confluence - $33,298 Jira Software - $5,345 To move away from Server to Data Center and…

There is no supported way to do it, but you could get the old behavior with a browser style. You could use something like Stylus or Stylish and create a user style like this that is scoped to your Jira instance. .ak-editor-content-area{max-height: 400px;}

With Edge Chromium now supporting both Chromium tabs and Trident tabs using the enterprise.xml and group policy I feel like this will soon become a non-problem for most businesses.

If you want to create development versions you would use Atlassian's guides for migrating these to another server. Once you've done that you would need to recreate the applinks if you use those. Confluence: https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/migrating-confluence-between-servers-184150.html Jira:…
