What are some good processes to prioritizing/triaging work to be done in a given sprint? Atlassian has a huge list of items in its product backlogs. How do y'all decide what gets worked on?
-
Oh that this were fixed ... I dream of the day.
-
I would tend to think this situation typically happens after the fact. Where a field was called something for a long time and has gathered lots of data, but now someone wants the field called something else and doesn't want to lose that data, but there is already a field with that name.

We've got four young children ... one is just getting to the age to start helping a bit. Having six in the house we make LOTS of laundry and dishes. Many nights the dishwasher is not big enough to hold the dishes so half of them have to be done by hand. Many an evening is shot just doing those two jobs.

Good point, that works well. You just cannot type it into the editor like the documentation says you can.

1. The biggest use case for the reverse proxy is for setting up SSL. I have found onour server that Tomcat doesn't handle SSL connections super well. It's a bit slow, so we put an IIS reverse proxy in front to do the SSL and it got way faster and CPU load went down. But you would probably see the same kinds of benefits…

If you are wanting to have a standardized table color scheme then you should probably do it differently. I would create a user macro that you can wrap around you tables that would apply the automatic styling. Something like this ... Macro Title: corporate_table Macro Name: Corporate Table Macro Body Processing: Rendered…

This is an issue with the database not being able to get a record lock. What database platform are you using?
-
Oh good. Glad that worked.

It's not possible to do what you want with what Atlassian has built. However. one possibility to sort-of achieve what you want would be to create a shared read-only account. That you give everyone at the specified IP the password to. Or you could create your own login form that would authenticate users against your own…
-
Maybe it needs the table specified. CONTENT.*
-
It sounds like you edited the default space permissions? Those permissions are applied when you create a space only. They are not reapplied to existing spaces. Unfortunately you will probably need to manually make the change.

Oh, it's because MySQL doesn't have the VARCHAR data type. Has to be a CHAR. What about something like this them. I'd test it, but I got no MySQL DB to test against. select *from ( select replace(concat('/ver003' , '/' , cast(right(SPACEID,3) % 250 as char(10)) , '/' , cast(left(right(SPACEID,6),3) % 250 as char(10)) , '/'…
-
Hmm. Maybe that's not how you do a cast in MySQL.
-
Ah ... MySQL. I'm on MSSQL. Try this. I converted it with http://www.sqlines.com/online. select *from ( select Concat('/ver003' , '/' , cast(right(SPACEID,3) % 250 as varchar(10)) , '/' , cast(left(right(SPACEID,6),3) % 250 as varchar(10)) , '/' , cast(SPACEID as varchar(10)) , '/' , cast(right(PAGEID,3) % 250 as…

Not quite sure what you mean when you say "I am using the drop down on a custom page template." There is nothing that I know of natively in Confluence called a "drop down". Is this by chance part of a third-party add-on? A screenshot would be helpful. :)
-
So, if you needed to figure out what a specific file equates to you could run something like this. select *from ( select '/ver003' + '/' + cast(right(SPACEID,3) % 250 as varchar) + '/' + cast(left(right(SPACEID,6),3) % 250 as varchar) + '/' + cast(SPACEID as varchar) + '/' + cast(right(PAGEID,3) % 250 as varchar) + '/' +…
-
This was a fun one to figure out. You can query that from the database. Here is the SQL to get the file path from the CONTENT table. select '/ver003' + '/' + cast(right(SPACEID,3) % 250 as varchar) + '/' + cast(left(right(SPACEID,6),3) % 250 as varchar) + '/' + cast(SPACEID as varchar) + '/' + cast(right(PAGEID,3) % 250 as…

Unfortunately, you cannot change the timing for emails in the cloud environment.
-
Yeah, seems like the documentation might need to updated for that.
-
You can search for specific labels using search syntax. Example is below. This will give you urls like the second example below that you could save off wherever you want. labelText:stuff https://{your_server}/dosearchsite.action?queryString=labelText%3Astuff

You are correct that the data center versions support SAML and the server version does not. Honestly, the only reason I can see why they would do this for data center and not server is monetary. They believe that that feature necessitates the higher tier. Now, you and I may disagree, but that I imagine would be their…

I think you need to style full-height-container. #full-height-container {background-color: #ffffff;}
-
You are correct there is no RGB option. But if you get the Confluence Source Editor you could set the color then open the source and change the RGB to what you want it to be.
-
I've seen this too, but in my environment it would only display that way for a couple seconds and then change. You are not alone. Probably a bug.
-
Just what I was going to suggest.

Another option would be Team Calendars. The caveat with Team Calendars is that it doesn't directly edit your Outlook calendar. Instead you have to set up a program that syncs Team Calendars with Outlook on a scheduled basis. Looks like the other add-on may be able edit the calendar directly ... but I've never actually…

For "trivial things" you can use user macros and include html/javascript/css inside the user macro. There is also an html macro that comes disabled by default but can be turned on which will allow you to put html/javascript/css directly into your wiki page.

I don't think you need the #set. I think that is clearing out the Velocity variable. I think you would want to just do this. #foreach( $issueID in $issueList ) https://<domainname>/issue/$issueID#end Here is some documentation for this.…

Why wouldn't you just put the documents in separate spaces and then give you clients access to those spaces?
