It looks like maybe you are linking your other issue types to the "Release Feature" issuse type and you want to show in a columns the linked "Release Feature" issues. Is that correct?
-
Ok, here is another option. I believe that if you create a template it is still created in the old editor as they don't have creating templates set up for the new editor yet. You could create a blank template called "Blank page - old editor" or something like that. The when you create a page pick that template.
-
@jemm1 When you create a page does it give you the options of "Blank page" and "Try the new editing experience"? "Blank page" should create a page with the olc (TinyMCE) editor.

Within each folder (Confluence Page) there is a .txt file that is the format of {foldername}.txt. The contents of that .txt file is the actual Confluence page contents. You would have to write something to edit the contents of that .txt file.

@Charlie Bailey You're welcome. Hope it helps.

Are you trying to iframe it? If so you may need to allow iframing. You would need to add to the setenv.bat (Windows) or setenv.sh (Linux) the following ... setenv.bat set JVM_SUPPORT_RECOMMENDED_ARGS=-Dcom.atlassian.jira.clickjacking.protection.disabled=true setenv.sh…

If you want to display the content you will need to use the REST api to get the content to display in your web app. You will not be able to iframe it as Atlassian does not allow you to iframe its could Confluence.

Ohhh. I like the new domain name. I love pretty URLs.
-
Seriously! Um ... yeah, I guess that is way better. I totally forgot about that macro ... I way over engineered it.
-
After thinking about it a bit there is a way to show it as a table on a page. You can get the URL for the flattened CSV file from the method above. It would look like this ... https://{your server}/ajax/confiforms/export.action?t=flatten.csv&pageId={your page id}&fd={your form name}%3A{your page id ... again}&fields={field…

After thinking about it a little more I realized that I do have a way to do with combining a user macro I wrote a couple years ago and the method above. Here is the user macro. It will display a CSV that is either attached to a page or accessible via URL as a table on a Confluence page. With the method above you could get…
-
Not sure there is any easy way to do this with the display of the TableView macro. However, you can set the TableView macro to be able to export. A couple of the options for the export are CSV (flatten) and XLS (flatten). The flatten exports will do exactly what you are asking.

@Isaac English Having a paper copy is a handy thing ... especially during power outages. However, I do not think anyone here can help you with that. This community is for third-party help with Atlassian tools. Likely your school might use Confluence for course materials and you got here via a link. But this site is in no…
-
Before you delete it though I would check with Atlassian support. They may be able to change it for you without having to wipe out everything and start over.
-
Glad it worked for you.
-
Yes, it is the same with the Confluence interface. The server versions of both still have the old interface and I have been told they have no plans to migrate to the new interface.
-
There is not a way to do this with anything built-in. We've achieved something very similar to what you are asking using ConfiForms.
-
No. This is the new direction they are going with cloud and there isn't a way to go back.
-
At the end of the setenv.sh (linux server) or setenv.bat (windows server) file you should see a section that has a bunch of statements that look like this ... setenv.sh (linux) CATALINA_OPTS="xxxx" setenv.bat (windows) set CATALINA_OPTS=xxxx You will add an entry that looks like this to the end of that block setenv.sh…

Ok, so you just need to follow steps 1-9 on the page I sent you to put Confluence into recovery mode so that you can reset the admin password. Once you've done that you bring it back out of recovery mode and continue on.
-
What version of Confluence are you on? If you are above 6.5 you don't need to do anything with the database.
-
Companies who install the server version tend to expect that the interface and general UI will remain stable. They don't want to have to retrain all their users constantly on UI changes ... it costs money. That, I believe, is the main reason that the server version has not changed its interface and has not adopted the new…

The steps in this article will allow you to reset the admin password. What part don't you understand?
-
Have you seen this article? It talks about how to reset your local admin password. https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/restore-passwords-to-recover-admin-user-rights-158390.html
-
Hmm. I am able to see it on existing pages, and new pages. I have tried it on both old editor and new editor pages.
-
Confluence does not have a native desktop client for Mac or PC. The web interface is the only interface for Confluence on a PC. There is an iPhone and Android app.
-
There is nothing that I know of that can do this. However, Confluence does has a rich REST api that could be used to do this. Another option would be to use the WebDAV plugin to mount Confluence as a file system. Then you could have a script create the pages as if it were simply editing files on a drive. WebDAV info is…

Exporting one page should not be a huge deal ... unless the page is super complex. I think the biggest issues come when a user exports multiple pages ... or an entire space. This operations should be thought out and maybe done at a time that will not impact the business as much.
-
I don't. Sorry.
-
If you are on the same version between the systems it should take about the same time as restarting your original system. I suppose it could take a little longer, but it shouldn't be TONS longer.
