Are you building the JSON manually? If so I would suggest creating a object to represent your data and then use one of the many libraries out there to serialize it to JSON.

@Amir Katz (Outseer) The site has been stabilized. I fixed it a few months ago, jut did not respond.

Hey, I like the counter badge on the bell! Nice work y'all.

You can certainly create the link manually, but "Confluence brief" is a custom field. There is no Jira logic built in to custom fields. If you need logic to be performed based on a custom field then you need to look to an automation plugin for that like ScriptRunner.

This set of YouTube videos were huge in helping me understand Jira ... especially Jira administration. Part 1 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V7NXmFqgPBo Part 2 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UJ3W8pwCrXc Part 3 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-98MCKxzuiM Part 4 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SOIjfMxS6HE Part 5…

Looking forward to 2022.

Welcome sir.

What exactly is your question? Are you asking about the REST API? Are you asking how to use a REST API? What do you mean by environment details?
-
Is this still happening?
-
I think you would probably need something like ScriptRunner to be able to do this. You could set up and event that would create the link when your issue is updated and that custom field is populated.

Since you are new to Jira there are also a number of short videos posted in the community for people who are new to Jira. Jira administration does need some amount of training ... especially if you use a classic project. Net-gen projects don't require as much training and are a little easier to use for people who are new…

This looks awesome. Wish there was a Server/DC version of this.
-
Bingo!

I'm in. Is this only for those who use inline comments in Confluence Cloud?

I have created a free app for user macros that fixes a bunch of missing pieces with user macros. One feature is that is gives you a delete confirmation. Also, if allows you to keep history of user macro edits so that even if you do accidentally delete it you can get it back with the history if you have that feature turned…

Is this for Jira Server/Data Center. or Cloud? Also, this is a community support site, meaning other Atlassian product users answer questions. It is not Atlassian support. I would be glad to help, but just so you realize this is not Atlassian' support portal.
-
I can't remember which version it was, but Atlassian removed the ability to to do this... #set( $containerManagerClass=$content.class.forName('com.atlassian.spring.container.ContainerManager') ) #set( $getInstanceMethod=$containerManagerClass.getDeclaredMethod('getInstance',null) ) #set(…

I think I know what you are asking but in the future please try and add a bit more detail to the question so that we don't have to re-read it multiple times to guess at what you are asking. In short though, yes you could probably do this using a user macro. The real work would be done client side using the Confluence REST…

Are you able to share the source of the user macro? My hunch is that is where the issue lies. If not, I understand, but I would start there.
-
Do you have an app or script that is automatically creating the personal spaces? I am unaware of anyway in the administration UI to have it automatically create a user space. There is the global permissions which gives the user the ability to create their personal space, but that checkbox does not automatically create it.

This is how I do it. I was never able to find a good way to generate a random number or find a way to get at Math.random() but this seems to work well. #set( $id = $action.dateFormatter.calendar.timeInMillis ) Even when the user macro is used multiple times per page I find that I get different mills. So for velocity I…

That would be this <span class="collapser-button expand-control-icon icon"> </span> and this <span class="collapser-button expand-control-icon icon expanded"> </span>

Ooo! Didn't know you can put "{cardname}" into an email for replacement. I will have to add that. It' cool to see we both had the same kind of idea ... tackled somewhat differently. Nice implementation. I essentially use labels instead of lists. However, I may play around with turning my labels into lists to more readily…

Woah!!! Good to know. Thanks for posting.
-
I've updated the code above with my latest version. It only affects tables within the body of the macro.

@Venkat Pragallapati Are you a System administrator?

What this entails in opening up a second Confluence/Jira cloud instance. That mean you would be paying for multiple instances. It is just a matter of walking through the process of creating a new instance ... you can't do it from within your current instance. You would go to atlassian.com and sign up for a second instance.…

I've set up a board for house maintenance items that need to be completed on a regular basis. I just have two lists. The maintenance items and stuff that is due. When an item comes due it is moved to the Maintenance Due list and an email is sent to me. When I am done with the maintenance item I move it back to the first…

They worked fine. I didn't run into any issues.

The favorites macro will only show at most five favorites. However you can use the content by label macro to get the same results but show more than just five.
