Unfortunately, no. Confluence does a decent-sh job of displaying Excel documents, but it is limited. It cannot do everything that Excel can do.

If you look int this file you can find the location of the database. Look for an entry called hibernate.connection.url. That is the connection to the database. C:\Program Files\Atlassian\Application Data\Confluence\confluence.cfg.xml

On the page with the table you could put an excerpt macro around the table. Then on the page that you want to display the chart put an include excerpt macro inside the chart macro and include the excerpt from that page with your table on it.

It is worth noting that you can drag and drop to a page even with the Allow Upload option turned off. That drop zone doesn't actually add any functionality to the page. Honestly, I'm not even sure why the option exists other than maybe to supply a visual cue that you can drag and drop to upload.

There shouldn't be any difference in the results offered between server and cloud. What sort of search issues are your users having?
-
Have you tried another browser? Could it be caused be a Chrome extension you have installed? Like maybe an adblocker?

Confluence intentionally does not give you any options for font size aside from the heading and paragraph text types. It is meant to be a company-wide documentation repository and as such all you documentation should have a similar look and feel. That is also why you cannot choose font. If you did you would have someone…

I know of know way natively or via a marketplace app to do that.
-
There is a button on the card () to show/hide details. If you turn off details you only see the comments.
-
Yes. If you go to the board menu and select Search Cards you can limit it down to cards that you are mentioned on.
-
How long did you wait for it to come back up? Our Confluence instance typically takes about 10 minutes to be accessible after the system has rebooted and the service has started. Also, Kaseya is not related to Confluence and will not affect the availability of Confluence in any way.

@Community Manager Oh! Thanks.
-
As of today version 1.2.0 is up on the marketplace. This version adds the ability to have user macro changes saved as historical versions.
-
No, it is Cloud only.

@Community Manager I've done all the steps and shown my Trello love. : )

As a server customer (not data center) I am somewhat frustrated by the decisions that pretty much anything administrator focused only goes to data center. For instance the new permissions stuff will only go to data center ... as if server customers don't have issues with permissions as well. Also ,SAML support is only in…

@Alice That's a pretty awesome hobby. I just checked and the Calendar power up works all the way out to 2491+. : ) So, if you put due dates on the cards you could also see it on a calendar!!

If you go to your profile there is a section called Cards. You can see cards across boards that you are a member of rolled up there. Is that what you are looking for?

The custom html portion is in Confluence Admin -> Look and Feel -> Custom HTML. This would only affect TOC macros with fixedPosition put in the CSS Class Name attribute.

Awesome job y'all!!! You folks rock.

Ok, here is an example. We have a template that we use to keep track of our a service applications. The template has a page properties macro and the pages created by the template are rolled up with a page properties report macro on a parent page. If we decide to add another key value pair to the page properties table we…

LOVE Thanksgiving!!! Definitely my favorite meal of the year.

@Brad Taplin Yes, it is either or. The point of this is to bring back the old functionality for those that cannot use the Companion app due to being in a terminal services environment. It sounds like this dark feature will go away once they get the companion app working for terminal services.

* We typically just use templates to create the same kind of page on a regular basis. * The main pain points I see for templates is that they are a bit too limited. I think what could make them even more useful would be the ability to use variables in the page title and the ability to use variables in macro parameters.…

It had a pretty awesome sauce ... don't know what was in it, some kind of fried chilies, and duck bacon(which was so good). I didn't even know duck bacon was a thing. The patty itself was thick and moist on a house made bun that was slightly toasted, but not dry. It was just really good.

I just feel like it is not a very intuitive navigation system. Years and years of consistent re-reinforcement in desktop apps and especially web apps have ingrained in me that your main navigation should be at the top. Having it on the left goes against all that and I think it confuses users. Yeah, you can get used to it,…

On a recent trip to Vegas for a conference (not Summit) I went to Gordon Ramsay Burger and had the Gordon Burger (not on the menu). It was quite frankly the best burger I have ever had. I did not know that a burger could taste SO AWESOME!! We have a meat market somewhat close-ish to where I live that sells the most amazing…

I've never been fond of the cloud left hand navigation bar. This brings back the familiar top nav bar, with a few changes, but for the most part it works like it used it. I feel like I've gotten back a long lost friendship.

No, you need to add a style macro to the page and put the CSS rule in the body of the style macro. Looks like the CSS classes have changed a bit since I originally answered. .contentf-button.aui-button {background: #D1A0A0}; Adding it to the ID or Class attributes won't do anything.

Four years later I now use the Include Content add-on by Keysight Technologies. It is free and does multi-excerpt.
