It looks like there is a max-width of 1800px that is applied to the page content. You can see it in the page CSS.

I totally agree about Xanth. The first Xanth books were pretty good. I stopped after Question Quest. I've not read anything by Raymond Feist. I'll look into him though.
-
It is odd. Turns out just having a <style> element in the user macro causes the header to not be sticky. I've edited the code above to dynamically insert the styles. <sigh>.

My favorite books growing up, and probably even still to this day would be ... * The Wheel of Time by Robert Jordan * The Shannara Series by Terry Brooks * Harry Potter ... of course * Lord of the Rings and the Hobbit * The Chronicles of Narnia * Pretty much any Star Trek novel * The Xanth series by Piers Anthony

It sounds like maybe you are looking for the page properties and page properties report macros.

There is no .obr file to upgrade Confluence. You need to upgrade the whole application. Here is the link for that. https://www.atlassian.com/download

Is there a link somewhere to the position description? https://www.linkedin.com/in/davinstuder/

@Nicolette Hussey Welcome to the Community. To answer your question the answer is ... not by default. However, there is an app that does allow you to do it. HTML Macro for Confluence Cloud

I can tell you how to do it on a Windows machine. Not sure if you can do the same thing on a Mac or Linux box. Put your cursor in the Title field and then hold the alt key and type 255 on your number pad (not the numbers above the letters ... must be the number pad). It will put in ASCII 255 characters into the title,…

It depends on your tables. If you are talking about a table with multiple rows and columns then there is nothing built-in that can do that. However, if your table is a single row, or a single column where it is used to mainly hold key/value pairs then yes. Have you looked into the page properties and page properties…

You can put multiple HTML macros on a page. However, that is also a somewhat big security risk. A more secure way to do it if possible would be to create users macros for your HTML content and put those on the page. But regards less there is no issue with putting multiple HTML macros on a page. I would suspect there is…

Often times even though a Confluence app says it is not compatible it may actually be. The Marketplace requires app authors t go back in and specifically mark the apps as compatible. If the author has not done that then it is marked as incompatible. If the APIs behind the app have not changed then the odds are the app will…

There are a few apps in the Atlassian Marketplace that I think might be what you are looking for.
-
The status fields use Atlassians AUI (Atlassian User Interface) framework. You could override the colors using some custom CSS. You could do that space wide using the space stylesheet in space administration or you could put a style macro on the page and limit it to a single page.
-
@Tomas Junger Short of writing an app for Confluence Cloud I don't know of an easy way to do what you are looking for. On the server version I could suggest a few different options, but those are not available on cloud. On Cloud you could put your content in a div macro and give it a CSS class for your card design. Then…

You can add it into the layout (page decorator) using velocity like this ... $action.getHelper().renderConfluenceMacro("{myMacroNameUsingWikiMarkup}") This link shows how to use wiki markup for macros. https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/confluence-wiki-markup-251003035.html

It would be cool if the Portland group could get the back from the dead award for Summit 2020.
-
As a color deficient person myself I would say "No". Bring on the colors.
-
Most of the time you would not really use the section and column macro for side by side tables. You would more typically use the page layout functionality, which I think is pretty un-technical. The only times you would tend to use the section and column functionality would be if you need to wrap that inside another macro.…
-
You do not need to write any macros. The ability to do columns can be done multiple ways in Confluence. You can use page layouts, which will give you the ability to create multi row/column layouts on the page. Or, you can use the section and column macros. Those are all built-in. You don't have to write anything.
-
I cannot say for certain as I have not seen it in action, but it sounds to me like you would be able to.
-
If you have Jira Software (not Jira Core) and you set up your project as a Jira Software project then you have the ability to create a Kanban board and work your tickets that way. It's built into Jira Software ... no app necessary.
-
Yeah, unfortunately when these posts were migrated from the old Atlassian Answers site the code blocks were html encoded, which messes up the code. : (

Full view is currently being worked on. The below post talks a bit about it. https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Confluence-discussions/The-new-editing-experience-we-re-listening/m-p/1044540#M4249

Definitely, for Jira WebHooks would be the best way. It is a push notification where Jira tells you when something has changed. Unfortunately, Confluence doesn't have it.
-
Maybe you could reach out to your sys admin and see if they will let you create a personal space. By default you are an admin of your personal space.
-
You can use CalDAV to update the calendar if it supports it. If you are using exchange or Google this is possible. I'm sure there are other platforms as well that support CalDAV as well, I just only personally know about these two. The below link tells you how to setup CalDAV two way synchronization.…
-
Then the easiest thing would be to mock-up the page the way you would like to see it. Then in page view mode use the ellipsis menu and select "View Storage Format".
-
How about doing it with a user macro? Then you can contain the scope. Something like this should work. It will not look the way you want in edit mode, but it will look the way you want in view mode and it should only be scoped to what is in the user macro. Maco Name: nested_number_list Macro Title: Nested Number List Macro…

However, if you want to know when data has changed via a push notification rather than having to poll it you should look into WebHooks. Jira supports this, but Confluence does not.
