If you really did want to use a different font you could do this somewhat easily, and free, with a user macro to change the font of the text inside the body of the macro.
-
By default Confluence does not give you the option of changing font face. This is an intentional thing as Confluence is meant to be a documentation repository and typically you want to have a standard look for all you documentation. Thus there is no option in the toolbar to change font or font size.

There is a dark feature that you can enable to revert to the previous functionality. However, there are some plus sides to the companion app. The main reason for this app is that it expands the file types that can be edit from Confluence without having to do the awkward dance of downloading a local copy, editing it, saving…

If you are a page editor you should be able to select the PowerPoint attachment. It doesn't have anything to do with admin privileges. I would first do a double check in the attachments section of the page a just make sure that the PowerPoint file is indeed attached to the page. Another possibility could be that if the…

Click on your profile picture and select Settings. When you are on the settings page click the "Editor" link. There is a checkbox on that page that let's you set it as your…

Wow! Does sound like a weird bug. But glad you have a workaround.

Well, hobbled as you are I don't know of a great solution for you. Since you don't really have much access to the database I would then say maybe get your DBA in on the process. If that is not possible you could also try using the Backup and Restore functionality of Confluence. It is under Confluence Administration ->…

Hmmm. It works for me. I can save a template with variables that have the same name so long as the variable type is the same and in the case of a list the list options must be the same. I only see that error when two variables have the same name, but the params are not the same. Below is what it does for me. What is looks…

The search syntax is actually pretty good. You can get pretty complicated with the syntax. For instance ... ((apples AND cream) OR (human NOT resources)) AND Bob
-
In a boolean search you must capitalize and and or like such. if you do not capitalize them they are thrown out of the search as common words. Apples AND Cream Apples OR Cream

In order to have access to a page you must have permissions to the space first. Once you have permissions to a space you can see all the pages in the space that do not have restrictions applied to them. It is key to understand that page restriction do not add permissions. Instead, they filter down from the pool of people…

Click on the variable in your template. Then hit ctrl+c to copy it and then ctrl+v to paste it wherever you want on the page. When you create a page with the template whatever you do with the variable it will be updated in both spots of the age.

@Anya Yugova You can make a page full screen while in edit mode. There is a button for it on the top right side of the content section of the page.
-
@Matt Tse I would totally be interested in a follow up interview for it.
-
In the ifttt macro you can use [entry.fieldname] in the "Page watchers to add" field to reference the user field in your form that has the people you selected as resources.
-
Have you looked into the page properties and page properties report macros? They are specifically for rolling up data from pages onto a summary page.
-
Or are you trying to write to a shared folder on your Confluence server? I'm just a bit confused because there are no fileshares on Confluence Cloud. So, I'm not totally sure which you are trying to do.
-
Just to clarify are you trying to write to a Confluence page using VBA?
-
Currently the new editor does not support embedding macros within other macros. It is on their roadmap to work on that.
-
Is this in the new editor or the old editor?
-
Ok, if you have access to SSMS you can right click the production data base and go to Tasks -> Backup. On the backup screen make sure you check the "Copy-only backup" checkbox or you will invalidate your current backup chain and any diff backups will now be off this full backup. A full Copy-only backup will do an ad hoc…

This is the process I use. It is based on the documentation links below. * Make sure you have the same version of Confluence installed on the test instance as you have in production. * Stop Test Confluence Service * Drop Test Confluence Database * Backup the Production Confluence Database * Restore the Production…

If you are doing it via JavaScript then that will only happen once on page load unless you have logic to redo the hide when the nav is collapsed as it probably rebuilds the DOM for that process. I would instead use native CSS to do the hide. You could even still use JavaScript to inject the styles in if you want to use…

Yeah, it seems like maybe your page indexing is backed up. It is not uncommon for it to take a little while to show up as page edits need to be indexed before the page properties report will work, but if it is taking hours I would look into why the indexer is going slow. Maybe tons of edit are happening all the time and…

Being on Confluence Cloud I don't know that there are any great options for doing this. If you were on server then Hide Elements combined with the show-if macro or a user macro that does the same thing as show-if could work well. But with cloud you are more limited in terms of options.
-
Unfortunately, the poster is on Cloud so Hide Elements is not really an option.
-
My hunch is there is something off in the raw post. Probably something is not escaped properly. I would first mock it up in Confluence and get the storage format for the page. Then run that storage format through a tool to escape out the string for JSON such as below ... https://www.freeformatter.com/json-escape.html…

@Tobias Vesterlund I agree wholeheartedly. I have the same issue with Portfolio as well. The top part takes up so much room that you can't actually see many issues at a given moment ... which makes for lots of scrolling.
-
@Kat Warner ... and I had to go and listen to it after writing that ... stuck in my head now. : )

This seems more like it would be a bug with how Confluence handles non-latin characters. I would submit a ticket to Atlassian Support and maybe get it put into their backlog to look at.
