Try this user macro: ## Users Pictures for Group - Confluence User Macro#### Produces a pile of user profile pictures for members of a specific group#### WARNING:#### Use very sparingly as this *will* slow down large Confluence instances.## Yes, it will try to print out 100,000 users if you have that many in the group####…

It should be pretty easy to do this as a user macro using JavaScript -- if that's deemed acceptable. Something like this... ## Macro title: Redirect## Macro has a body: N## Body processing: No macro body## Output: Selected output option#### Developed by: David Simpson## Date created: 2011-10-12## Installed by: My Name##…

Sure. Agreed. If you feel strongly about this, submit a bug here: http://jira.atlasian.com/ -- also link back to the issue here when you're done :)
-
Have you correctly set the server base URL in Jira Adminstration ?
-
In a user macro, you can simply do: $content.title
-
Dave, try mixing serif & sans-serif in your image -- it's tricky to see what you're trying to say.
-
You can't do @mentions on groups at the moment. Just think what mischief you could get up to with @confluence-usersif this were possible - that would send some serious email on a big system. There is a JIRA for this you can watch -- CONF-23015 -- It's got a pile of votes. Large enterprises would likely not want this…

You could just try disabling and reenabling the TinyMCE Editor Plugin. it might just do the trick :)
-
Try this:* Browse to Confluence Admin | Configuration | Plugins * Click Show System Plugins * Click on TinyMCE Editor Plugin and look for modules that are disabled. Enabled them. In Confluence 3.5 it says "22 of 22 modules enabled" if all modules are enabled :)

Another approach would be to use Confluence Admin | Look and Feel | Custom HTML | At the end of the HEAD and paste: <script>AJS.toInit(function(){ if (AJS.$('body').hasClass('view-blog-post')){ // Add Google Analytics code here }});</script> This has the advantage of being usable on any theme and won't hinder upgrade to…
-
A more correct way of doing this would be to track Google Analytics site-wide but have the RSS feed automatically add the Google Analytics campaign tracking parameter utm_medium=rss (or similar) so that the reporting would appear on the correct screen in Google Analytics :)
-
This needs fixing by the plugin developers really... In the meantime, could you perhaps use javascript to rewrite the code in the table cells? Be very specific with the cells so that you don't rewrite anything else. For example this might be a starting point: encodedHtml = AJS.$('.someSelector…

We use .val() because we're using the jQuery method .val() to manipulate the DOM.
-
Browse to: Confluence Admin | Look and Feel | Custom HTML In At end of the HEAD, add some JavaScript similar to this: <script> AJS.toInit(function(){ AJS.$('.plugin_livesearch_buttonbox input').val('Search'); });</script>
-
Agreed. A custom plugin would be best. My answer is somewhat simpler/easier for some people to implement :)
-
I would really advise against this as users won't see what the final blogpost looks like, so won't spot any mistakes. However, if this really is important, the quickest way to sneak this in without custom plugin development would be to use javascript to check the referer... Browse to: Confluence Admin | Look and Feel |…

Yes, that wouldn't work. Check the update though. I forgot to wrap the JavaScript in script tags

To move the "Page from template" option to the top of the menu Browse to Confluence Admin | Look and Feel | Custom HTML In At the end of the HEAD paste: <script> AJS.toInit(function(){ AJS.$('#createPageLinkTemplate').parent().prependTo('#add-menu-link-space'); });</script>

@Jeremy Largman [Atlassian]: Thanks. I couldn't accept, so closing it seemed the best option open to me :)
-
Browse to the space in question, then click on Browse | Space Admin. Change the space name in the resulting "Edit Space Details" page. The name change will also appear on the dashboard.
-
You could take a look at Scroll Wiki Exporter.
-
Oh, the irony of marking this as answered yesterday. Spam today :(
-
I think that @Jeremy Largman [Atlassian] has probably got the task at hand. Though he's on PST office hours, so while he's in bed, we can all keep our hand in removing any spam links that appear.

The Pagetree Search Macro docs suggest that if the rootPage macro parameter is not defined the root page is the current page. You may have a content indexing problem. The moved page may be stuck in the indexing queue so the result appears from the original place in the hierarchy. Try browsing to: Confluence Admin | Content…

I've previously integrated Confluence with SAML when I used Confluence as the identity provider for a SAML SSO plugin -- you can find out more details in the post "Concur Single Sign-On plugin for Confluence using SAML". What you're after is really the converse of that. It could be achieved with a custom authenticator -…

Confluence SU would work if you've got a whole load of time, patience and enjoy ongoing maintenance chores :) However there are a whole lot of "Atlassian Experts" (e.g. AppFusions) who could write a custom plugin for you. Failing that, perhaps add a feature request in the core product and you may be surprised with a quick…

If I were to tackle this, I'd write a plugin that sets these to the required values on user creation -- likely using an EventListener module. For existing users, I would write a script that cycles through each user and updates the required settings. Maybe @Bob Swift's Confluence CLI could help achieve some of this as it…

What Joseph said. Wrap the recently-updated macro in a user macro for the same ends. In Confluence 4.x and above, something like: <ac:macro ac:name="recently-updated"> <ac:parameter ac:name="author">$action.remoteUser.name</ac:parameter></ac:macro> In Confluence 3.x, something like:…
