I'm guessing you're running jira as a service? If so you could make it dependent on some other service, eg your database service if you're running it on the same machine. Otherwise you could make it dependent on the last service likely to start, and I have no idea what that might be. Not really sure what you mean by plugin…
-
Not sure which plugin you are trying to install, but there is nothing attached. If it's my "copy project" plugin, this has been superceded by script runner (the plugin is marked as obsolete on the marketplace).
-
better to use issue.isSubTask() than check the issue type name really, also check that before reading the parentObject, otherwise you will get a NullPointerException.
-
It may take a long time, in which case the browser will time out. However the script will continue working... tail the logs while it is running. It probably completed successfully.
-
Oh sorry, I answered for jira.

Similar question here: https://answers.atlassian.com/questions/35476/force-accept-company-policies Plugin here: https://bitbucket.org/jamieechlin/confluence-ts-and-cs-plugin/src The checkbox thing only appears whenever an editor is shown, but perhaps you can modify it to your needs.
-
Do you actually work for Atlassian? Perhaps they make you purchase your own software, I don't know. Production licences come with a corresponding developer/testing/UAT licence.
-
It's the same as this example: https://scriptrunner.adaptavist.com/latest/jira/recipes/behaviours/restricting-priority-and-resolution.html#_restrict_priorities_by_group
-
Not sure why that that would be useful but could you not have a listener on IssueWatcherAddedEvent, and send mail from that?

Adam, if you're not done with this, please try 2.0.4. I've also made the choosers multiselects so you don't get RSI from clicking on all the checkboxes.
-
Nah... please keep chipping in. I need help ;-)
-
Yep... agree. And +1 for doing it in a test environment.

> Am I crazy or is this no longer available in 4.4 because JIRA supports part of this requirement out of the box? Adam, you may be going crazy, we are probably the wrong people to ask, but you are exactly right in that I stopped it being available since similar functionality became available in jira. Covered here:…

Yeah I know, this is to do with the way the jql functions are currently registered. The next release is going to fix this.
-
There is certainly not a dependency... I don't know why that happens. Perhaps because they share one commonly-named jql function. If after disabling JQL tricks, can you disable and enable script runner and see what happens?
-
Yeah. I've noticed a definite downturn in the quality of their support recently... guess they had a big expansion or something.
-
I think it's a bug in JIRA not in JSU. Here is the bug: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRA-26377 It happens when you null a value, but the previous value was also null (or perhaps an empty string or something). Anyway I have seen it in cases unrelated to JSU... even if JSU can be a cause of it, jira should handle it…

I guess you're aware of the implicit contradiction in your question? I mean, if they provide their email address they're not anonymous, but how can they receive emails otherwise?
-
IE8 is already dropped from the latest versions of jira/confluence/fisheye.This issue nav bug is well-known, happens when you have a lot of custom fields.
-
You can use a "split regex" param - see http://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA/Creating+Issues+and+Comments+from+Email. However, if they all have different signatures this might not work well.
-
You must be using a common account then. If you leave off the credentials from the url then the user will have to logon, then be redirected to the page with the values pre-filled. > http://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRACOM/Automating+JIRA+operations+via+wget I think this is more for administrative purposes. Any…

If you're worried about security then don't pass the credentials as parameters. What context is this form being used in, are you embedding it in some other app for instance? For a start you could use http post rather than get, then consider some form of SSO.

Hi Ashey... sorry, I'm not familiar with Portfolio plugin.
-
cross-posted to https://jamieechlin.atlassian.net/browse/GRV-668
-
I'm not sure this is a bug in Script Runner, it sounds more like an issue with Portfolio.
-
thanks for your understanding.

I do not have a functional test for cascading selects, which I'm afraid suggests to me that they are not implemented. There is also https://jamieechlin.atlassian.net/browse/JBHV-202.
