No, I haven't looked at that yet. The docs relating to trusted apps and app links is all over the place and self-contradicting. And yes, I think you're right, that activity stream plugin link is out of date which is why the plugin is not on PAC.

Indeed, but, isn't this installed by default? If not do you know where it can be downloaded from?
-
Definitely avoid the bulk edit and definitely do the redirect. Not only will jira issues be pointing to confluence, a lot of people will have bookmarks and links in emails and word docs etc. IMHO you should probably do this with apache, using mod_rewrite and mod_proxy (there are examples in the confluence docs).…

Assuming you mean what I think you mean, just delete the jira.home directory, and if you want to reuse the database, drop the database and recreate it. (If you're using hsql, ie the evaluation db, then just deleting the home dir is sufficient).
-
You don't copy them back in, you need to reapply the diffs from the original. Will be a lot of work but personally I think this is safer to do with javascript in a plugin, that's how I'm making changes like this going forward.
-
If you're talking about the velocity templates, you should get the diffs with the version of confluence you had, reset them, then reapply them. See these two links: https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/DOC/Upgrading+Customised+Site+and+Space+Layouts…

I was when I tried it a long time ago... you should ask the plugin author.
-
there's an app for that... I mean a plugin: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/com.intenso.jira.plugins.condval.intenso-conditions-validator
-
Yes, I think there is. Say you have an issue for implementing some regulatory requirement, eg "Basel II", but the date you should have implemented it by has already passed. Also for the people that, when you ask "when do you want it?", say "yesterday".
-
It's a plugins2 plugin so you need to upload through the UPM.
-
I recommend that you install Script Runner 3.0-beta, which you seem to already have, and uninstall the behaviours plugin. Obviously on a test instance first, hopefully it is not too late for that advice. You cannot mix and match behaviours scripts with script runner scripts. Well, they are both groovy, except behaviours…

You need to return an ErrorCollection, see com.atlassian.jira.util.ErrorCollection#addError(String field, String message).
-
Hi... in my experience, just pick a task and go for it. But previously there have been several questions about which resources to use, eg http://www.groovy-lang.org/ and the SR docs.
-
As Thanos said... if (fieldScreen.name == "Resolve Issue) { ... // do whatever behaviour you want}
-
Did you post your code so we can see it?
-
Hrm... so effectively A (the child) gets updated twice, once when the user updates it, and then again through a script running on the parent. This kind of thing is tricky, it's similar to the "fast-track transition" script, which has some code to deal with this and other timing issues. I don't know... you may need to…
-
The question is too complex, which is why you haven't got any answers. Can you try to isolate the problem a bit better?
-
Err, I don't understand. All of the data is contained in the XML backup. You just restore that into the new system. Not sure what you mean by "user backup".
-
You can up date the licence before or after, although if you are migrating from an older version you will need to upgrade before it will accept the 4.0+ licence. > For older JIRA version, e.g. 3.3, do you know if it is still possible to renew the license? It's out of support, check with sales. > For importing JIRA instance…

> Is there any way to do a Bulk Edit on the Ranking of Issues to make for example all the High Priorioty issues be ranked on top ? Why would you want to do that though... if that was your goal you can just sort by priority. What about people who have already ranked their issues, you're just going to re-rank them?
-
please don't cross-post Suresh
-
Also check the logs, and see if there are any errors.
-
You can test a variant of that in the script console, and take it from there...
-
Yes.... the following code works for me, if you are on Script Runner 3 and up: https://gist.github.com/jechlin/99f0853f579c7e4edb34

OK. PullRequestService is in stash not in jira - so you'd need to be looking for a remote version, or better something similar in the DVCS jira plugin. Is there one?
-
If you used one of the many "script runner" or "groovy" tags you would get better/quicker responses. No one follows either of the tags you used, precisely because everyone uses them. Rant over. Why do you think debugging is painful? I think it's easy, it's exactly the same as with a java plugin... attach your debugger, set…

It's an ancient bug. The key thing is, before anyone starts using jira, make a copy of the default issue type scheme and call it "out of the box scheme" or something, then whenever you create a new project make sure it uses this. Because you can't remove them from the default scheme. And the longer projects use the default…
-
you need to fetch the watchers again, it's not going to change the list that you created at the beginning.
-
It's not your script that's causing a problem, it's something else on the workflow. Does this error go away if you don;t add your script to the workflow at all?
-
Ah, sorry, missed the "create transition" bit of the question.
