Try the script runner functions, eg: issueFunction in hasLinks('blocks') I'm sure Jobin is right by the way... there is no need for a namespace clash really as the script runner functions are only application to the "issueFunction" pseudo-field.

You need to resolve it in a local work tree. Click the little triangle warning icon and it will give you the steps to follow.
-
Depends on the jira version...
-
Add some logging... log.warn(option) etc. Otherwise you can't know what's not working.
-
Great answer. With respect to permissions in the UI and the issue service, Heidi is spot on, but, you can set some other user that does have permissions if you want to do an action that the user could not.
-
It's log4j, so you could just modify your log4j.properties to use a SocketHubAppender instead of a FileAppender, then use chainsaw or something from anywhere.

There have been other questions on this recently, eg https://answers.atlassian.com/questions/198481/script-runner-addon-custom-scripts-as-post-function-with-parameters.

> In this case I would like to set "issue" to the parent issue, something like issue = issue.getParentIssue(). How would this be possible? Pretty much like you say. Using the script as a starting point, if it's a subtask, set the issue issue.getParent() or whatever it is. > You can do it with jjupin Yeah, you can do it…

You want: if (issue?.getCustomFieldValue(cf)?.value == "option2) { ...}else if (...)
-
Did you see what I put in my answer? It was: issue.resolution?.name != 'Fixed' || issue.fixVersions
-
I'm totally confused. With many of the builtin scripts you can provide a condition which is in the form of a mini groovy script that returns true or not true. Are you using the one called Simple Scripted Validator? A screenshot would help here. I think my original answer is correct. Try it in the Admin -> Built-in scripts…
-
Which built-in script are you using? And is it a condition, validator, or post-function?
-
I'm not really sure what you're trying to do, but you're mixing up groovy with what looks like JQL. issue.resolution?.name != 'Fixed' || issue.fixVersions will be true if the resolution is Fixed, or the fix version is not empty... however you can't unrequire a field that is required in the field config scheme.
-
issueFunction is not a drop in replacement for "issue in" ... but some functions may be available in script runner. Which particular one(s) did you have in mind? If it's provided by another plugin you could just disable the plugin module that provides it.

What we've advised should work... ie have one user created before or after that is in the internal directory and not in ldap. If you get an error clicking test it sounds like there is corruption. Do you have current support? Now is the time to call them imho.
-
And can you log in as that user? And that user is definitely not matched by a user in LDAP?
-
Regarding editing the LDAP directory, did you see my comment above: Other thing is make sure you have an admin user that is in the local directory and is not in ldap *before* upgrading, because you cannot edit the directory that the current logged-in user is a member of.

This is after you did the import of the old database? Also I think you cut the stack trace, makes it difficult to tell what the problem is.
-
When you upgrade, make sure that there is a copy of your previous osuser.xml file in web-inf/classes. There are two upgrade tasks that make use of this, the first creates a new "delegated" directory which I think you did manually, and the second one migrates any users that match the new delegated directory to it. What I…

This turned out to be a bug in 4.1.3.9 and is fixed in 4.1.3.10. You mentioned you had another problem that you fixed, I still recommend you upgrade.

Is it possible that JIRA Agile was installed and then uninstalled? Could you restart JIRA and see if that helps?
-
Please could you create a support ticket at productsupport.adaptavist.com/servicedesk/customer/portal/2, including the logs.

If the proxyPort and proxyHost set correctly in the Connector element in your server.xml (in tomcat)? Is the base URL set correctly? What URLs is the browser attempting to get for the .css files?
-
If it doesn't you have to write your own rest endpoint with code similar to Fabio's... the rest api is not completely complete.

To check for issue not being updated in the last 30 days you could use: issue.updated < new Timestamp((new Date() - 30).getTime())
-
But that won't be called until the issue is updated, so that condition will never be true (notwithstanding the syntax is all wrong, as Alexey says it's a timestamp. I think you want https://jamieechlin.atlassian.net/wiki/display/GRV/Escalation%20Service

Hi Chris, Sorry, I posted the wrong link, I updated it now. No, it doesn't do that, it's more for admin/maintenance stuff. "Listeners" and macros etc will come at some point if there's demand. cheers, jamie

You could try my script plugin: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/com.onresolve.confluence.scripting.script-runner - although it targets a different use case really. Not that there's many examples, except the built-in scripts which may be a bit complex to start learning. But there is plenty of java confluence code…

It's doable, you can get the workflow descriptor from the issue, get the current state, find all outgoing actions, and get their conditions. Then you need to call passesCondition for every condition, and retrieve the result, then you can format it nicely. It will probably work fine, but I don't really recommend it because…
