i told you it was tricky... answer updated.

When you create a PR it works out what commits need to be merged from source to target branch. If that list are all on the feature branch, I think that's what you want.

As Balazs says... this is a much harder question than you might think. http://stackoverflow.com/a/3162929/1018918 has some good info. In that answer the author substitutes two better questions, which you could implement using the Stash API. Is the context for this a mergecheck plugin or a pre-receive hook or something? You…

import com.atlassian.jira.component.ComponentAccessorimport com.atlassian.jira.issue.customfields.option.Optiondef customFieldManager = ComponentAccessor.customFieldManagerdef cf = customFieldManager.getCustomFieldObjectByName("My checkboxes field")def summariesList = (issue.getCustomFieldValue(cf) as…

You want something like the following. Just check custom field values to see whether to create the sub-tasks or not: import com.atlassian.jira.component.ComponentAccessorimport com.atlassian.jira.issue.MutableIssuedef parentIssue = event.issueif (parentIssue.getIssueType().getName() != 'New Employee') returndef user =…

For the java one, you should get a JSESSIONID which you can pass as a header in subsequent requests. For javascript, if you are running the javascript in jira, I'm not sure, because the cookie set by the /auth might conflict with jira's auth token. Try installing the rest browser too, eg:…
-
If it's a jira plugin then you will use the user's session data, so logging in should not be necessary. Are you trying to log in as a different user? This is a bad ideas as the user's credentials will be plain view in the source.
-
Assuming you did mean jira, seems like you are missing an import:import com.atlassian.jira.ComponentManager
-
Are you trying to do this in confluence, or was that just a "tagging failure"?
-
It's telling what the problem is, you're calling a method on *customfield* which you have not defined. Use: def customFieldManager = ComponentAccessor.getCustomFieldManager()def cf = customFieldManager.getCustomFieldObject(12345)def num = issue.getCustomFieldValue(cf)

Thank you Bruce. I spent quite a while try to hand-craft the the right url, in the absence of any links... but obviously I was missing the correct queryparam-fu.

"we are thinking that we will not import old content from there." I'm amazed that you are so casually considering consigning the work of thousands of users over many years to the trash. It's not "old content" - some of it is absolutely current, and of course some of it is old. Unless you intend to delete all "old" (ie all)…

You can call the built-in script via rest: https://scriptrunner.adaptavist.com/latest/jira/builtin-scripts.html#_executing_built_in_scripts_remotely or you can write your own rest endpoint and from within that, call CopyProject: https://gist.github.com/jechlin/7198215

The post does exist, it's just that Atlassian in their wisdom put the post in https://community.developer.atlassian.com. But let's just assume that all the answers I've made over the last 10 years that had "development" tags have been lost so we'll start again., Changing the issue type is "moving" the issue. You may be…

How do you get the rss feed link for a particular product only? I'll assume it's not possible to get rss feed for a tag, seeing as you cannot watch a tag.

Hi Roy - this should work on the create transition but it needs to be the first post-function, not the last.
-
It's not really clear what you mean, can you add some more detail, maybe a screenshot?
-
Rambanam gave you groovy/java code, whereas you appear to be using python.
-
Sorry, python null is None. Try that, or Rambanam's method which should also work.
-
IIRC the value is a nested map, but if you print out the value you will see. Try service[Null] for the root value - I think python null is "Null".
-
You should just create the directory that you've spotted is not there currently. It should exist up to the "onresolve" bit anyway. The bundle:// url is the designation given to resources in OSGi plugins. When you create the directory you mention and put stuff there, the "loaded from" url will be file://...

What confluence version are you using?

It's a shame about the labels/panels, because I think that is a very good use case. IMHO people should know it's public at the time of editing, not have to run a report. We use something similar to the original idea in our JIRA instance, and it works well. In terms of SR I would do it as a report that you run in Script…
-
sure... I would not use a label though. A label would be nice because it would mean you could find these pages quickly, but that would involve listening for all permissions events, then potentially doing large bulk changes. Instead I would go for a web panel that shows the message... at least for v1.
-
OK the way I would do this is examine the VIEW_SPACE perms, and then remove any users/groups that are not included in page restrictions, if there are any (inherited or otherwise). From that list, if there are any groups there other than internal-users it's publicly visible. If there are any users with view perms, that are…
-
Are you interested in the space permissions, or page permissions, or both combined? I take it you want the info on the current page, and about the current page, rather than some kind of report? You can ignore the first part, I re-read your question and I think you want both.
-
At first glance I would say that's feasible... I think the issue might be checking the permissions for "any user not in your group". If it was a case of checking whether "external group" had access that would be easy, but any user not in a group... off the top of my head I'm not sure if that can be done in an efficient…

I answered this recently here - for your case in point. But the general case is that workflow args are stored in the workflow XML which is in the (IIRC) jiraworkflows table. Otherwise plugins will store their data either in OSProperty tables, or Active Objects tables.
