Cloud's team-managed projects allow you to create project-local status with the same name as global ones. This is one of the reasons I tell people that team-managed projects are not yet useful for enterprise users.

Welcome to the Atlassian Community! I am sorry to say that that is not true. Atlassian applications use whatever database you select in the earlier screens. To get this error, you must have selected the H2 embedded database option.

I can't see anything wrong with the widget - it's adding up 28 + 3 + 1 + 1043 as it should do. Your second screenshot does not appear to be showing the field that you are using for the axis in the gadget either, so I'm not sure what you're trying to show us here. Jira does not tend to display data that is empty. If there's…

Atlassian are not going to change this behaviour, as it is the way Kanban is supposed to work. Done really is supposed to mean done - it needs no more attention from the team using the board. I think you have a process problem here, you should not need to do anything with issues that you have finished with. Atlassian have…

Welcome to the Atlassian Community! We need some more information to enable us to explain what is happening here. What do you mean by "1 -1", "2- 1", "3-null" and "4-1"? Where is 1+1+1=3 being shown? Could you expand on what you mean by "Only the first few consecutive data can be counted" and what "subsequent data" is?

@Laurie Sciutti - I'm with you on that. I don't think I'm a good driver. Since I left university, I've always lived within walking distance of work, with the odd exception where a client visit is not easy to do via trains. So I do not drive a lot. I think my lack of practice may be the main problem. I borrow my wife's car…

Welcome to the Atlassian Community! The only way to get to talk to someone at Atlassian is to raise a support call, over at https://trello.com/contact (use the last option on the page, the others bring you back here or go to documentation). They will arrange a call if the questions warrant it.

Is the resolution field on the transition screen?
-
Hi Jason, No. There is nothing you can do here other than remove the macros. User macros are not supported on Cloud. Even when an app that provides a macro implements one the same on Cloud as it does on Server, it is different code and may work very differently.

Welcome to the Atlassian Community! Azure Devops does not have JQL. Could you explain what you are trying to do?

There is no way to change the length of time before an issue gets hidden due to being done and not updated on most types of board. The exception is the Jira Software Kanban boards which have a secondary "when to hide done issues" filter which you can edit. The default for those is "is done and has had a fix version put on…

It has not changed. Jira users (software, agents, work management, or product discovery) can see the history of an issue. Jira customers can only see the request. Your coworker is not a Jira "user", you'll need to add them as a user so they can see the history.
-
That would be an issue report (the Epics are issues). Why do you think you need a "complete listing"? What problem would printing out several hundred issues on paper solve? Who is going to read all of that and why? Why can't you just ask them to look at the Epics they need to see?
-
Putting ABC-41 into the search box will take you to the issue if it has been moved to another project. As Stephen says, the old key is kept in the history, but Jira also has a lookup table listing "old key, issue id in the database", which the quick-search looks at when you give it a key. This won't help you if the issue…
-
This always takes me back to "why?" Humans don't read reports with hundreds of issues on them, they want summaries.
-
Yes, but the issue fields you link to are issue fields. You can see those listed in the custom field list and check their context, but you'll also need to look at the screens and field configurations to see if they are actually presented to the users in the project. The fields in a form are not issue fields and do not…

@Michael Karl Yep, the wonders of the English language :-) 1. Yes and no. Driving on the right-hand side of the road is less safe than driving on the left. But that is probably down to the build of the car. 2. Yes, when the driver is on the left, they steer more with their left hand than their right It's all down to the…

@It_s Doug Here Welcome to the Atlassian Community! The short answer is "no". Crystal Reports is a great reporting tool, but it requires you to have a full understanding of the structure of the data you want to report on. This is usually done with a "data dictionary" and access to the underlying database. But you really…

I'd very strongly recommend not building a browser-dependent solution. Not only are browsers constantly evolving in ways that might break it, but it's a poor user experience to be told "this only works in a browser you don't want to use". The web has evolved way past "this site only works in Internet exploder", that…

Welcome to the Atlassian Community! Projects do not belong to screens. Projects have some configuration "schemes" which tell them what fields to show to users and how, and fields can have a "context" for a project or issue type that limits them to a selected list. The answer here is that you need to look at the projects…

Welcome to the Atlassian Community! Fields in forms are not issue fields, they are contained in the form.

Welcome to the Atlassian Community! There is no way to do this in Jira. It deliberately keeps field entry very simple and does not do dependent fields (other than the cascading select). You can do most of what you want here with an app though. I work for Adaptavist, so the only one I can talk about is Scriptrunner. This…
-
The simplest thing to do is search for the issue. The project reports will still list it if it exists, and if you know the key, you can just type it into the quick search at the top right. If you're not sure, then try a more advanced search. I'd start with "project = ABC and updated < -14d and status = closed". I'm…
-
This is a bit of a complicated one, there's two bits to think about. The issue will retain the data that matters to the sprint - specifically the estimates, status, and that it was included in an active sprint. (If you search for "sprint = X" you will find the issue, even if it has moved to a different project) But. If the…
-
Hi M, You can not do this, not without making significant code changes to Jira (it's not as simple as just adding a field to the screen) You don't want to either, as it will break your system. The initial create screen is asking you for project and issue type because these two are required to tell Jira how the issue is…

Welcome to the Atlassian Community! If this is genuinely from Atlasssian, then you, or someone using your email address, has bought and paid for an Atlassian service. Before you do anything else, have a closer look at the email's detailed headers - check that the from, reply, and domain fields are all atlassian.com (some…

Welcome to the Atlassian Community! You can not unlock fields on Cloud (and you can only do it by database manipulation on Server/DC systems). Fields are locked for a reason - it prevents us admins mis-configuring them and hence breaking what they are for. Instead of trying to unlock a field, could you explain why you…

Welcome to the Atlassian Community! There's no way to do this - Jira simply has a list of users to be added to whatever they may need to be added to. It does not have any concept of "this part of the system belongs to that organisation", so there's no way to distinguish your projects between "internal" and "external", and…
