Welcome to the Atlassian Community! What are you looking for in a "client"? Anything can talk to Jira and Assets, the REST API is not restricted to any language or library. What do you mean by "extensive"?
-
Are you still seeing errors connecting to HTTP or hosts? Can you identify what those machines are running that it might be trying to connect to?
-
Ah, hang on, you're trying to use the filters inside queues. This will not work, because queues are specific to a project. Look at the help-text above where you put the JQL in. You will have to work outside the queue and a single project. You need to write JQL in a search, save it as a filter, and work with that in the…

Sorry, have what in one space?

Welcome to the Atlassian Community! No, you can not, only a few moderators can delete, but more can move posts to "removed posts" where they cannot be seen by most. If you use the "report abuse" option and self-report, a moderator will do that. (The removed posts are cleared out after a while if I remember right)

Hi, When you build your new server, it will generate its own server ID and then ask for a licence key. You should give it the developer key that you get with your main server licence (the developer key can be reused for many test/disaster recovery/prototyping servers).

Welcome to the Atlassian Community! Jira does not have field level security or permissions (barring a couple of system fields, but they're not about visibility). So there's no way to do this. There are ways to hide an entire issue, reducing its visibility to a select crowd.

Hi Justin, Yes, it's been a known problem for a few weeks now (early December if memory serves). I was able to turn off my email provider's spam filtering, but that's not ideal - I do get a couple of other things going to my community account, so I'm getting a few more spams get through. Of course, not everyone can change…

It's not a "general rule for Agile", it's pretty much the point of Scrum. Part of Scrum is re-evaluating when things go wrong, and it's a perfectly valid thing to do to say "well, Scrum isn't for us". If you can't get your stories to fit within a sprint (either by qualifying them better, or lengthening the sprints), then…

Welcome to the Atlassian Community! Are you saying you have many Atlassian Cloud sites? If not, then what do you mean by "Site"?
-
The desire to use the issue type as part of the issue key is usually a hangover from using legacy systems that were too primitive or poorly designed (for humans) to use separate identifiers to make search and usage work properly! I too would use the issue type to "quickly see whether it's a change, incident, or problem"

Welcome to the Atlassian Community! A Scrum board shows the current sprint, so you don't need the board ID and Sprint to do this. You just look at the sprint.

So, what you are saying is, if someone tries to create a redundant link, remove it? I mean, say we have * ABC-1 Story* ABC-4 Subtask of ABC-1 * ABC-6 Subtask of ABC-1 * ABC-7 Another story* ABC-8 Subtask of ABC-7 Then if Charlie goes into ABC-6 and tries to link it to ABC-1, get rid of the new link? Also, you only want to…

hi Roey, That makes good sense, but I would put some thought into how exactly you would do it in Confluence. Confluence is a wiki and hence has unique page names. Using an example from an old client, they looked after ~600 different services and applications, and the production support team needed a very standard set of…

Hi Karim, You should have a Community manager you can contact, but as you've asked, I suspect you're unsure who they are. I've asked the team to find out who it is and get in touch, after they've worked out where your rights went.
-
Ok, that's going to cause you massive problems because one user might happily change the date, not understanding that they're going to destroy everyone else's dates. What another person notices the change, they are very likely to put it back, destroying the first person's setting. Whomever thought up this solution really…

That is not true. Projects can have many workflows.

Welcome to the Atlassian Community! This came up the other day, and there's a good conversation on it at https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-Software-questions/can-a-board-display-two-projects-using-custom-workflow/qaq-p/2583499 It's worth a quick read…

Welcome to the Atlassian Community! Atlassian are fully aware of this and have people working on it, or did. They may have given up bby now if IBM are not willing to talk.

Welcome to the Atlassian Community! Confluence does not have the concept of Dashboards. Because you can turn any page into a Dashboard. If it did have a dashboard concept, it would look pretty much like the pages, but you would not be able to insert content between gadgets. So there's no point in having it.

Welcome to the Atlassian Community! This is a question for your server admins, not us. They need to debug why the service is not serving.
-
I think you should take this back to the people who have defined it. It is a large amount of work, and when running, could cause you all sorts of performance problems. What is the benefit of changing a field on one issue and destroying its current content on all the other issues that are grouped with it in the Epic? What…

The things you are doing with it here are not database functions they're search and update. It can serve as a simple database, yes, but my point here is that they can't be using Trello for whatever they are doing, and they need to look at their system, not Trello.
-
Welcome to the Atlassian Community! There is unlikely to be anything you can do, unless you took a backup before the person you shared your account with deleted it. Do you have any copies of the content anywhere? I have a habit of coding on different computers, so I usually have 2-3 copies of my repositories on local…

Hi Pawel, Your trigger says: When field called "checklist completed" has a value added to it, .... I do not recognise the app you are using to provide the checklist, so I don't know what the available options are, but I think you need to change "change type" from "value added" to something else, like "all values checked"

Welcome to the Atlassian Community! If the account is "managed", it belongs to the company, not you. You will not be able to retrieve it - accounts can only be moved to different domains that have been verified by them. If it is an individual account, then you will need to change the email address on it. The only way you…

There is no "cloud licence", it is a subscription service. And, no you cannot reuse a licence for a second server. But you can move a licence to a replacement server.
-
Welcome to the Atlassian Community! That is not an Atlassian Cloud system, it is a server your organisation is running somewhere (as you say cloud, probably on a cloud provider like AWS or Azure) You should get one of your billing or technical contacts (it's pretty standard to name your admins as technical contacts) to…

Welcome to the Atlassian Community! The best way to do this is to set up your workflow so that the resolution is correctly set when the issue is closed, and cleared when re-opened, as in the answer from 6 years ago. Note that you can also put a transition screen into your "close issue" transition, with the resolution field…

Welcome to the Atlassian Community! Yes, this is a known fault with Community - I get several hundred a day, and noticed suddenly about 50% going into spam. I was able to turn off my email provider's spam filtering, but that's not ideal - I do get a couple of other things going to my community account, so I'm getting a few…
