Hi Tim, The backlog and the board are two views of the same thing - the list of issues that need doing (plus the board will show "done" ones from the current sprint) If you have not mapped a status on to a column, then as far as the board is concerned, the issue is not for viewing on the board. As the backlog is another…

This statement is still completely wrong: "To add a field to the configuration, the newly created custom field should be included within the field configuration. This ensures that the field becomes available for existing Epics. This is want i meant to say in step 3." You do not add fields to field configurations. Apart…

I am sorry that the answer you got before was misleading - it was generated by an AI that has no understanding of your question or Atlassian software. There are only a couple of places to look for this. The first is the default/automatic assignee rule in the project. The project settings have a "default assignee", which…

Please do not use AI to answer questions without checking the answer it gives. This answer is utterly misleading, talking about irrelevant functions and ones that do not exist.
-
Are you testing this exclusively with your account? There is a setting to check - in your profile, there is a flag that says "do not email me on my own changes" which defaults to on. That would be suppressing your test email. Turn it off and re-test. But it should still notify everyone else.

Ok, you didn't explain it was the mobile app. We see a lot of posts here where people are not asking about an Atlassian product, and not explaining that, hence my answer. Now we know it's a mobile app for JPD rather than JPD itself, yes, you're probably in the right place to ask. The usual place to report a bug is…

I agree, because it doesn't expose the administrators directly. Unfortunately, it can lead to people being spammed.
-
It could be that, I can't help you diagnose your network issues though.
-
A lot of labels will degrade performance, but "a lot" is a very big number, far larger than would be useful for humans to see on an issue!
-
Welcome to the Atlassian Community! What do you mean by "link" here? A URL? Have Confluence read something from a disk mounted on the server? A pointer to a file share? I do not understand what you might mean by "alternative to security issues using HTML"
-
Nope, because it might be privileged information. Your administrators can add a "contact administrators" message, but it is off by default. I always recommend people enable it.
-
I mentioned "boards" at the end of my answer. You can use boards to make things look like they are doing what you've got there, even using exactly that workflow. Boards are a view of issues, not a container, so you could set up a series of boards that take a different view of where things are in the workflow.
-
You'll probably want "duplicate" and "not to fix" in "done" as well, otherwise the issues in them will never end. They're "done" to me - you've looked at them and dealt with them!
-
Welcome to the Atlassian Community! What do you mean by "blocked"? Is it an Atlassian Cloud application that is refusing you access, whilst others (like the Community here) still let you in? Or is it a Server/DC application? (you'll need to contact your application administrators to ask about that)
-
Welcome to the Atlassian Community! Could you explain what application you are talking about here? This does not look like a Confluence page to me.
-
Welcome to the Atlassian Community! I think you are in the wrong place, your question does not seem to be about an Atlassian system. I suspect you have clicked on "help with the system in use for documentation or issue tracking" instead of "help with the product".
-
That's not strictly true. Atlassian Cloud products use Atlassian accounts for access, not your email address. You use your email address to log into your Atlassian account, and that lets you into Cloud. If Cloud used email addresses, then you would not be able to change your email address on your account. You can change…

It is something on your network blocking your laptop from reaching Cloud, it is nothing to do with Atlassian. Check your routing, your DNS, and your firewalls.
-
Please stop using AI to write answers without checking them. Step 3 is complete nonsense, and the whole answer is looking at the wrong thing.
-
Welcome to the Atlassian Community! What do you mean by "not accessible"? Blank browser page? Error message? Is the error a network error or does Jira/Confluence respond with their header and an error? Just won't let you log in?
-
You do not activate workflows. "Active" just means "in use" In a company-managed project, you have a "workflow scheme" that says "for this type of issue, use this global workflow". When a workflow is linked to at least one issue type somewhere, then it is active. In a team-managed project, the workflows are held in the…

Hi Matt, Try "is empty" instead of "= blank"
-
I am afraid it is the same answer, if you want rid of this, you need to remove the Drive app or connection.
-
Welcome to the Atlassian Community! Status category is a broad grouping of the basics for when someone not particularly embedded in your process might be looking at it. Most humans will be asking "have you started on it yet?" (moved from to-do to in-progress), and "is it done yet?" The workflow diagram you've shown us is a…

Hi Mike, No, there's nothing of any depth in the logging. Detailed logs on server are intended for system administrators, not end-users of the service. We're the end-users on a Cloud subcriptions, only Atlassian are system admins.

But if you only have one project, you have the problem that your teams will be working from boards and projects that have stuff on them that they do not need to care about. And to make the boards work as they should (i.e. be the team), then you are going to have to add data to loads of issues to distinguish which team they…
-
Welcome to the Atlassian Community! This is actually what boards are for. A board represents a team's work, and is a view of a selection of issues. The usual default is that a board looks at "Project = ABC". But Company-managed projects can have boards that select from different places. For you scenario, what I would do is…

You will need to configure quicksight to read the sprint data, it will need a new table for that. Epic is not a custom field, and it's not done as the Epic Link any more, you need to look at the parent field on the issues (also, not a custom field)
