Welcome to the Atlassian Community! We don't usually see just "internal server error" coming from Cloud systems, there is usually a lot more of an error message with it. Could it be that you are on a server/DC install, not Cloud? Those can give you just "internal server error" alone. If it server/DC, then you'll need to…

Welcome to the Atlassian Community! An issue can only have one assignee, so I am taking a guess that when you say "all the assignee for an issue", you mean you want to see all the people who have been assigned to it, now and in the past. In Scriptrunner, https://library.adaptavist.com/entity/show-assignee-history actually…

Welcome to the Atlassian Community! I'm afraid the downloads you were pointed to earlier are for the installers, not the application packages (OBR files). The application packages are held in the marketplace entry for the application. You should be able to find the right OBR…

Most of the admin described here is quite easy - on most lists of global objects, there is a section for "inactive", meaning "not associated with anything" at the bottom of the list. Or they have "not associated with anything" next to the entry. A couple of them, you may need to click on the options for each entry to see…
-
Nice idea, but no, because you're not updating a project when you are changing them! You are updating a global object that projects refer to.
-
Hi Eric, Yes, but you have to make all the data you want them too see there available anonymously.
-
Hi, No, there's no function for this in Jira. The reason is because it is pretty much pointless. An issue type is made up of a name, description, and icon. When you cloned one, you would probably want to change the description and icon, and you would have to change the name. There's more clicks in there than "create new…

Welcome to the Atlassian Community! No, this is a scam email.

The script gets and sets custom fields, so converting it to "read one custom field content, add one, and write it back" should not be too hard. But yes, it's Friday, we're probably all tired, and could very much benefit from a weekend off! Give it a shot next week and if you get stuck, let us know here!

Welcome to the Atlassian Community! This suggests that you do not have project admin rights. Please, don't use ChatGPT for this sort of thing, it's almost always wrong.
-
Please refer to the answers you were given earlier, with a duplicate account. Please do not raise new repeat questions, and please stop creating new accounts to do so, it it not going to get you anywhere.
-
Welcome to the Atlassian Community! That's probabably something to take to your business teams. The two terms are similar, but not quite the same, in English, they are implying different reasons for not doing anything more on the issue, exactly as you state. "We won't do this" and "This was not approved" are different…

Hi Becky, You might find https://library.adaptavist.com/entity/calculate-custom-field-on-issue-update?tab=cloud useful as an example. It calculates a field based on a couple of others, so it looks at more fields than you need, and you should actually be able to simplify it!
-
Welcome to the Atlassian Community! Just don't add users who are not in that domain into the create permission for your projects.
-
If you use admin -> manage apps in your Server install, you'll be able to tell it to upgrade directly from the marketplace, no need to fiddle with download and upload.
-
Welcome to the Atlassian Community! How would this help you work with Scrum? Issues in a sprint do not get allocated according to what role the team members are in, they get picked up by the most appropriate team member.
-
Amit, not quite, the question was about both team and projects, and you can't really answer the project part of the question without asking about the team. It's actually not that relevant to the question, your teams could be working from boards and filters that include things from many projects.
-
I'm afraid you have no choice - your admins need to allow that route.
-
Welcome to the Atlassian Community! You will need to talk to your site administrators about this if the problem is related to their permissions, or your network admins if they are not able to reach the site in their browser.
-
Welcome to the Atlassian Community! There's no way for the box to do this without breaching privacy laws in many countries. All you can do is ask your users to add identifiers that they don't care about sharing into their names.
-
Right, so when you need to mark an issue done for the team using the board, you need to put the issue into the last column on the board. Your released status is not needed by the current team, but they should see it as done, so you need that status in the last column.
-
Deleted issues are completely gone, and generally, humans are not good at understanding this. If an issue was written on a piece of paper, then delete does not mean "it's in the bin next to the desk", it means "It's gone through the shredder, into the recycling, and been collected by the bin collectors". There's no change…

Yes, Automation has a trigger that picks up "version is updated", and I believe that can catch the change to archived.
-
Welcome to the Atlassian Community! Yes, your app may fail validation because it creates a never-ending thread. Atlassian might not catch it in the validation, but your buyers certainly will. You need to rethink your app - a never-ending thread is poor design as it opens you up to memory leaks and it's not going to…

Hi Troy, No, not really. The move to "parents" is Atlassian trying to homogenise and simplify. This is a welcome move for me - the way sub-tasks and Epics were related to mid-level issues over the last decade and a half was (and I'm trying to regulate my language here, please feel free to assume I originally typed this…
-
Welcome to the Atlassian Community! I'm afraid this is not logged, so you are going to need to do two things, * First, engage with your people - just ask them. Ask why they are changing things like this. * Second, if you can't get a good answer from them, block it all and see who screams. Take away the user's rights to…

Hi Osama, Cloud and DC Jira are very very different products and Scriptrunner has to respect that. A DC script will very rarely work on a Cloud installation. You will need to look at what the script is trying to do, and rewrite it for Cloud. If you could explain it to us, we might be able to point you in the right…
-
Welcome to the Atlassian Community! That's not a decision we can make for you, nor one that should be based on the software you are using! Does it make sense to merge the teams? If they are all in one team, will that still be managable (Scrum for example recommends 4-7 people in a team, and I know most team leads struggle…
-
Yes, but as I said before, an issue that is not done cannot be seen as done. How are you going to explain "done, but not" to your people?
-
I am sorry, I was unclear. Crucible sits on top of Fisheye, so I have a tendency to think of them as the same thing. I've never worked with just Fisheye, beyond the first time, where my job was to plan and implement adding Crucible to it! The question I have is "where are you raising the issues"? Are they in…
