There's no way to do this with automation - automation mostly works with issues, it's not validation. Your other option would be to add an impossible validator to the workflow's "create" transition, but by far the cleanest and nicest method for doing this is to simply (manually) remove the user's "create" permission from…

That directory listing is definitely an Atlassian system's home directory. "Sandbox" is not what I would expect to see in a there, so I agree with you that there is something external creating and using it. FWIW, most apps that create files in the home directory will usually do it in one of the plugin directories, or a…

@Rilwan Ahmed is right, the LDAP connection logs go into the application log. If you're not getting anything in there, then there is nothing wrong with your connection. If synchronisation is failing, the logs for the failure will also be written into the application log.

Welcome to the Atlassian Community! Is this creating the links in another Jira system? If it's the same Jira system the script is running in, then it's probably worth swapping to writing the code to run locally, using the java API instead of a remote REST call.

Hi John-Michel, Possibly... Confluence_application_data/sandbox is not a default name for a directory in Confluence, so I would want to check exactly what it is before I suggest if it is ok to delete files from it. Confluence runs on two directories - an install directory and a home directory. The install directory does…

That should enable you to report on "project = xyz or label = sub-task", but I don't think it's going to help with the sprint reporting.
-
The time remaining is not a suitable to use as a burndown. First problem is that it would invert the chart, and secondly, the value changes during the sprint, so you can't burn on it.

Welcome to the Atlassian Community! How and where are you putting these tables into Jira?
-
Welcome to the Atlassian Community! Boards are not containers for issues, they are a view of a selection of issues. If your Devops board is a Jira Software board, then you can edit the filter behind it, which means you can draw in issues from any project you want. I regularly run into places where they want to draw in…

Welcome to the Atlassian Community! It is annoying, but it's technically correct - sub-tasks do not go into a sprint themselves, and hence do not have a value for the sprint field. They are only seen to be in a sprint when the issue of which they are a part is in the sprint. But for reporting, it would be very useful to be…

Welcome to the Atlassian Community! You would need to write a validator that can stop people putting non-unique data into the field. But I would not do that, I would recommend looking at why you think you want unique data in the field. It's usually pointless because the point of a field is to report on related things, and…

Welcome to the Atlassian Community! This isn't really a Confluence problem, so we can't help you much. The message you are getting is telling you that Confluence can not connect to the database, and that will be a database server or network problem. Either the MSSql service is not running on the machine, or the port is…

Welcome to the Atlassian Community! That looks like a bug to me, it's miscounting something somewhere. I think it is worth trying to check all your data though, and maybe forcing it to recalculate. The thing to look at is the issues in the "done" column, the one on the far right of the board (which may not be labelled as…

Ok, you're definitely not looking at the field configurations. I think you are in a "team managed" project, where fields are defined individually by the project admins. You'll need to add environment as a new field by clicking one of the options to the right of the fields display.

Welcome to the Atlassian Community! A human reads every support call raised at https://support.atlassian.com/contact and https://trello.com/contact#/
-
Yes, if someone converts it to a sub-task, Jira will demand that they tell it what the parent is. You can't create sub-tasks without a parent issue.

So Trello has a workflow engine and complete tracking history as an issue tracker does? I'm sorry to have to disagree with you, but it is a simple fact that Trello is not an issue tracker at its core. It is a noteboard. It is a superb noteboard and it is very easy and natural to use it as an issue tracker, especially if…
-
My first question is what app are you using to provide this multiple issue picker? The way Jira usually works is that if you flag a multi-select type field as mandatory in the field configuration, Jira will not let you create an issue without at least one option selected, and it would not let people clear the field out…
-
Never rude to ask. I only get annoyed by mentions if it is not an interesting problem that could have been answered with RTFM.
-
Correct, you can't create a sub-task outside of a parent issue, it has to be done from within.
-
I can't think of a way to exclude an individual like that.
-
Welcome to the Atlassian Community! You probably need to talk to billing - raise a support request at https://trello.com/contact#/ (use the last option on the page, the others will take you to documentation, or back here to the community)
-
Welcome to the Atlassian Community! You can do this if you are ok to do it by status. The trick is that the assignee field is controlled by permissions. To be listed in the assignee field, a user has to be granted the permission "can be assigned" in the project. But your workflow can override that - you can add properties…

Welcome to the Atlassian Community! Please forward any malicious email to https://www.atlassian.com/trust/report-abuse - no need to put any explanation in it, just the email is enough. They won't reply, but I know a human will look at the source site and get it shut down if it is malicious. You should also report…

Welcome to the Atlassian Community! The error message given for the site you link to tells us that it does not exist, so it was either never created, or it has been shut down. Either way, there is nothing we can do for you here in the Community - you need to talk to Atlassian about this. There are a couple of things that…

Welcome to the Atlassian Community! The short answer to the main question is "none". No backups are taken and made available to you. I suspect that your question comes from using server systems, where you are used to having a server team take backups and knowing that if your main data centre housing your servers fell into…

Welcome to the Atlassian Community! For a JSM project to create issues, you must have configured the email channel to accept incoming mail. That is the first place to look. I'm not sure what the problem is here. Is it that only one user can send email and have it create a request, or that you don't want anyone to be able…
-
No, they do not matter. Your searches and reporting won't be affected by a missing issue number. A good reason for issue delete is indeed "we accidentally raised an issue with no useful data", but these are a tiny fraction of the number of issues that people raise and then try to delete later. Given Jira's simple "delete…

Um, none of this is about agile, it's all about the hierarchy, whatever your process structure is.

You can not remove fields from a field configuration, they always list all fields. I do not think you are looking at the field configuration.
