Markus, you're absolutely right, but that is the reality we work with. One thing to remember is if a single page applies across versions. You can create a shared space with open permissions, author the shared pages there, and use the include macro to put them into the various versions. That way you only need to update the…

I run Jira on my laptop for testing purposes all the time. You can also run a second Jira instance on your prod environment assuming that you have enough underlying resources to not impact prod.

I think this is the closest thing you can get https://blog.valiantys.com/en/add-ons-en/connect-asset-management-tool-jira-help-desk-nfeed

@Joe Clark You may be interested in this.

You can't do that, but you can put it in the comment and have them get notified. In theory you could have a post function on the transition which parses the comment and changes assignee, but that would be pretty hacky.
-
This is not possible out of the box. This is doable with some third party apps like Jira Enterprise Mail Handler (JEMH) or I think that SmartHandler may also be able to do this.
-
I believe this should just work out of the box. What's the actual issue you're seeing?
-
You actually don't even need the automation plugin. Just do JQL like assignee=currentUser() and project = ABC and updated < startofweek(-4) with a subscription to all the people you want. They will only get their issues.

Great to see technical posts like this, as well as community members contributing their configs back.
-
It will not change the password.
-
They will have a "Requests" link in the upper right of the UI. Take a look at https://confluence.atlassian.com/servicedeskcloud/blog/2016/01/improved-my-requests-page
-
There's some error before after the startup and before this which is causing it. I can't tell you what it is or how far back it is.
-
Put them into the "Hidden from portal" group on the left hand side of the Request Types screen.
-
Did you change the estimation at all? If you view the Burndown charts for those sprints, do you see the scope changes listed there?
-
You shouldn't do it directly in the DB, take a look at solutions like: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-questions/How-to-bulk-rename-username/qaq-p/216275

I would recommend you look at reporting tools like https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/com.eazybi.jira.plugins.eazybi-jira/server/overview or https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/com.arsenalesystems.dataplane/server/overview You may also be able to accomplish this using time tracking tools…

No there is not.
-
I believe that behavior only exists for subtasks.
-
If you're on server you could do this using some custom JS in the announcement banner. If the situation in which the issue should be re-opened on a comment can be defined with Jira events and JQL then you could use either Service Desk automation or the Automation…

What does ON "username@domain" mean to you? Does this mean that it was assigned to them?
-
The bit about what actually caused the issue is above what you have posted. This isn't enough for us to diagnose the issue.
-
You need the Link Issues permission for that project. https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiracloud/managing-project-permissions-776636362.html

Hmm not sure, sorry. I am also not seeing any related bugs for this: https://jira.atlassian.com/issues/?jql=project%20%3D%20%22JIRA%20Cloud%20(including%20JIRA%20Core)%22%20and%20text%20~%20%22pull%20request%22%20and%20issuetype%20%3D%20Bug%20 As such, I would need to rebuild a similar config in my cloud environment to…

Unfortunately no. I would need to look at the F5 config personally. I assume all user traffic works fine? If so, it may be that the machines can't route to the IP from themselves. You may be able to set up a split URL application link where their presentation URL is the 192 IP address, and their actual connection URL…
-
Are you sure you updated the server.xml files correctly? Share the connector bit? You will also need to ensure that they have set up the rewrite profile correctly on the F5. I would also want to know if you're using an IP instead of a hostname for the system's base urls.
-
This is not really possible. You may be able to hack it together using custom CSS for a space: https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/styling-confluence-with-css-166528400.html#StylingConfluencewithCSS-GettingStarted
-
It should be instant I think. The Jira user's browser should actually be making a request to Bitbucket to get the latest results if I remember correctly. Does a hard refresh in the browser work?
-
Hmm you're right, I tried it and I can't get the field to populate. I was just looking at the data format in which the value was being posted during issue creation or update. You may need to use something a bit trickier like setting the value in a label and having an automation task fix it for you.

Whats the error? = is a valid operator for the reporter field.
