I think the biggest issues that we see are that teams deploy low quality networking, shared storage, and proxy configuration. The AWS CFTs will give you a good starting point to avoid these issues. But you also need to understand how this applies to your specific environment. Feel free to reach out if you need help.

Since we acquired NAFJ from Riada, the above link no longer works. Please use https://atlasauthority.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/NAFJ/pages/930381840/Set+up+your+own+Email+Template

As far as I know this is not possible.
-
I would definitely use emails to map the users given that you have an authoritative list for internal users. If you are dealing with external staff in the Cloud instance then it gets move complicated.
-
Wooo GDPR ;) But seriously, this is because usernames have become restricted in Atlassian Cloud. As profile visibility controls are not fully rolled out yet, you can't force visibility (nor am I sure you will be able to force username visibility even once they're out). For all intents and purposes, email is the best key…

Ah yeah that makes way more sense. Keep it up.

https://www.atlassian.com/trust/roadmap?tab=compliance references Jira Agile HIPAA compatibility. As far as I know, Jira Agile is a product that is no longer supported by Atlassian. I assume it's a typo and should say Jira Software? If so, does this mean you're targeting HIPAA compliance out of the box for the Server /…

Can you comment as to what caused that drop? A drop that significant in a 4 week timespan points to a huge change.

The new migration tool in Confluence is absolutely excellent. Can you disclose anything about a similar tool for Jira?
-
Send me an email boris@atlasauthority.com and we will help you out.
-
Would you please provide a diff of the two which shows the changes?
-
Hey Jose, One alternative is to work with an Atlassian Partner https://www.atlassian.com/partners/search?page=1 We regularly perform migrations for clients for a lot less than $35k. I am sure the same is true for other partners as well.

A general suggestion I share with everyone about asking for help in communities like this one is to take a moment and read: http://www.catb.org/esr/faqs/smart-questions.html This document is mandatory reading for Atlas Authority staff, and has helped me improve the response rate I get in forums like this. To be clear, I…

I would look in the Jira access logs to understand what request is happening there. The ARR cache params in the URL may be breaking something.

Did you go through https://confluence.atlassian.com/kb/proxying-atlassian-server-applications-with-microsoft-internet-information-services-iis-833931378.html#ProxyingAtlassianserverapplicationswithMicrosoftInternetInformationServices(IIS)-PartB.ConfigureInternetInformationServices(IIS) step by step? I am guessing you…

It moved everything which is in the git history. Commits are part of the history and will come over, as will branches, tags, etc... Since Jira stuff is based purely on commit messages, yes it should come over without any issues. Forks will not move over since they're outside of the git repo.

Hey Mark, You do need to copy all the custom fields and associated configs. You can use tools like: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1211147/project-configurator-for-jira?hosting=server&tab=overview https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1211611/configuration-manager-for-jira?hosting=server&tab=overview which will…

I am not sure you can export it. But can you elaborate on what format you want to export to, and what data you need in it, and we can better try and assist?

Robert let me start by saying you're in an extremely common situation. You will fail, again, and again, and again. It's ok. Don't let it overwhelm you. We have all been there, and we overcame, and so will you. Very high-level resources are: * The community here will help you learn little by little. * There are books you…

That will depend on your organization needs. Both can work from a technical perspective. If you want to roll work up in the same issue then a sub-task is likely a good way to go. In fact, you may want a sub-task for both of the phases, and let the parent issue stay open the whole time.
-
It can be done, but it will break all the reporting. I would suggest making a duplicate issue for the second QA phase.
-
You will need to ensure your DB and Jira's connection to it are set up correctly. It sounds like the DB was set up with the wrong collation.
-
This is not possible in Bitbucket today

Is this proxied or are you doing SSL termination in Tomcat?
-
You're getting the right answer for the wrong reasons. It's like doing faulty math and then guessing correctly on the multiple choice answer portion. Think of it like this: * A project contains issues * A board contains issues * A board does not contain projects * A project does not contain boards (the UI will fake this…

A couple of points here * Holy cow ancient version of Confluence, please consider upgrading * 777 is not the correct permisioning for an application directory (nor does that demonstrate that the permissions are correct as you cascade down the folder structure) * The stack trace you're providing doesn't contain any extra…
-
No, it is not, and the reason why is because you're thinking about how this data maps together incorrectly. A board is purely a view on issues. A given issue can exist in many boards. What would you do if one board has one status on it, and the other board has another status.

There is not. You may want to use something that is more integrated into the app so that your users can benefit from the knowledge you're working to harvest. https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1215795/analytics-for-confluence?hosting=server&tab=overview
