Hi, I don't think we configured Sourcetree's OAuth consumer to be both personal and organizational, as you noted. Changing scopes or configurations would likely invalidate all existing sessions and we approach changes that might do so very cautiously. I'll sync up with the rest of the team to confirm this. Thanks, Brian…

Hi Michael, Please file a ticket with these details for our development team to triage accordingly for a future update. Thanks, Brian Ganninger Senior Mac Developer, Sourcetree

Hi, Our apologies for the hiccup. Please file a ticket with complete details for our development team to follow up on. Cheers, Brian Ganninger Senior Mac Developer, Sourcetree

Hi Andreas, There are a few existing options to disambiguate: 1. as you noted, give the bookmarks distinct names and that's what's shown for the title 2. Cmd+clicking on a titlebar (the icon + text part) will show a popup of the folder path We don't currently have any plans for changes around this but you can vote on an…

Hi, Please see my response in this thread. Brian Ganninger Senior Mac Developer, Sourcetree

Hi Tim, The short answer is yes, we're working on it. In the meantime you can reduce the diff context to cut rendering time or exclude particularly problematic file patterns like lock files. What's being done? * there's an initial set of refactorings in 3.0.1 which resulted in up to a 25% increase in launch/repo open…

Hi Caleb, To add a second account you'll need to log out of the current Bitbucket account in your browser, then use the add flow from Sourcetree. Since it's going through your default browser it picks up whatever existing Bitbucket Cloud session you've got, it doesn't use a separate sign-in flow. Brian Ganninger Senior Mac…

Hi Gijs, Are all your SSH keys loaded into the SSH agent? They frequently get booted unexpectedly in our experience. You can check with the following command: ssh-add -l if not then you'll use: ssh-add ~/.ssh/your-key-name Brian Ganninger Senior Mac Developer, Sourcetree
-
Hi David, This was an intentional design choice for consistency with other toolbar items as well as our Windows design language. You can vote on and watch this ticket that requests an option to disable. Brian Ganninger Senior Mac Developer, Sourcetree

Hi, macOS has a habit of booting SSH keys out of the agent and when it does this is the result. You can resolve it by going to the command line and running ssh-add ~/.ssh/your-key-name And entering a passphrase if necessary. We are continually trying to stomp out issues around this and apologize for the hassle. Brian…

Hi Rob, I think this is addressed already in our latest beta. Apologies for the hiccup. Brian Ganninger Senior Mac Developer, Sourcetree

Sourcetree has nothing to do with SmartGit, it sounds like the app has registered as the default handler for sourcetree:// URLs which is breaking our registration for it and the ability for Bitbucket to call us back. You'll want to check in their app or uninstall. Brian Ganninger Senior Mac Developer, Sourcetree

This is a regression specific to macOS Mojave and the dark mode changes introduced. We've already got ticket(s) on this and will address in a future compatibility update. Brian Ganninger Senior Mac Developer, Sourcetree
-
The latest Sourcetree is only compatible with 10.11 or higher. You'll need to download an older release from the Download Archives.

Please file a ticket in https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/SRCTREE for us to track. Thanks!

Hi John, This is an intentional change. We moved the "modified files" count from the sidebar to the toolbar for consistency with the other items and with Windows. When you commit or discard your changes, it will reset as the sidebar's count did before. If not, that's a bug. Brian Ganninger Senior Mac Developer, Sourcetree

There are improvements specifically for this in 3.0. Additional ones are planned for 3.0.1. A more substantial change that requires rearchitecting portions of Sourcetree is roadmapped but does not have an ETA.
-
Hi Saima, Virtualization doesn't violate our T&C; we only require it to be properly registered with an Atlassian account (typically during setup.) Thanks, Brian Ganninger Product Manager, Sourcetree
-
Hi Christian, Sorry for the hiccups. For some reason Atlassian account is not completing the sign-in via the embedded browser and we aren't able to proceed until then. My suggestion would be to try out our public beta for Sourcetree 3.0 which uses Bitbucket for registration. Brian Ganninger Product Manager, Sourcetree

There's nothing in particular that should be causing such a problem. Presumably all operations (pull, fetch, etc.) also fail with a timeout. My suspicion would be something in the network configuration - Bitbucket Cloud recently changed IP addresses so DNS resolvers or firewalls may no longer be amenable.
-
Hi Taher, There should be a menu item for "Refresh" that does so manually. That said, 1.7.0 is no longer a supported version and we recommend using a newer release. Cheers, Brian Ganninger Product Manager, Sourcetree
-
There isn't a GUI available for doing so but the notes in this post might help.
-
Details about the crash - steps, context, etc. are appreciated.
-
Bug reports should be filed at https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/SRCTREEWIN/

Hi Kurt, Thank you for noting this, it's a reasonable idea to avoid any LFS operations until we confirm the message is harmless. Please file a ticket (SRCTREE or SRCTREEWIN depending on your OS) and we'll take it from there. Cheers, Brian Ganninger Product Manager, Sourcetree
-
Hi Reginald, * What OS are you on? * What version of Sourcetree? * Are there any additional comments around that error for context? Brian Ganninger Senior Mac Developer, Sourcetree

We need more details to diagnose the problem… 1. What type of repository (Git or Mercurial)? 2. What do you mean by "more changes"? 3. What does (Git or Mercurial) show when you use their CLI?
