I've done a lot of research into this and it seems as if the Dashboard is run on an internal "System add-on" that cannot be uninstalled. * Go to General configuration * Manage add-ons * Type in Dashboard and search across all add ons Here it will show you that the dashboard is being managed by Atlassian and changes cannot…

* I'm not sure if you can divide the service desk per customer because technically, all the customers are in the same bucket. These customers don't necessary have licenses to access content or be grouped. A knowledge base can be set up and seen by all customers. You will have to go to Confluence>(Your Knowledge Base) >…

I've been looking into this for a while now. Unfortunately, for me, when I setup an Automation step it is not notifying me. Have you tried to setup an automation step for yourself?
-
I see what you are saying now... That's a great question. I tried some sort of Automation Rule but I've never had success doing so. Hopeful someone will give us an answer shortly. Sorry I couldn't help.

Hey David, I had this same issue. I found a notifications tab within Service Desk * Go to your Service Desk Project * Go to the Project Settings * Go to Notifications * Under Actions, select Edit Notifications * Add a group for the Issue Updated Notification Hope this is helpful!
-
If you go into your Service Desk Project and click on the "Project Settings" button, one of the tabs will say "Notifications". This is where you setup all Service Desk Notification's based on Events. Right now, you must have the group set to participants. Try changing settings here first.

Since there isn't a macro for "include space", I only see to viable options. * Use the {Space List macro to allow the users to link over to that space or; * Copy the contents of "The Handy Guide for Confluence Space" into a page and use the {include page macro on your other account I hope this is helpful!

Try this plug in: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/ac-copy-space/cloud/reviews

Add embedded YouTube video to Confluence?

You would just go: * Expand* Office Excel * Attachments {office excel}

Awesome!

Gaston's should work. If not try this issuetype = Sub-task or issuetype = Deliverables AND status = For Review or status = Complete AND timeestimate = 0

When I run into problems with the Office Word Macro, I do one of two things: * Office Word Macro on same page as Attachment* Go to Edit * Double click on the Office Word Macro * In the Page Name, re-enter the name of the page you are on * The word.doc will populate to the screen * Office Word Macro on separate page as…

Did you attach the Word Document to the same page that you are placing the Office Word Macro?

Sean, There is a plug in called JQL Tricks Plugin that you can use free for up to 6 months. I am currently using this plug-in. I want to see all Service Desk Tickets that have an open JIRA Ticket on them. Here is the JQL Query you will need underneath a specific queue within your JIRA Service Desk project Issues to show:…

Very weird, I've still been able to export as CSV without error (I haven't updated my Software yet)
-
Hello. I understand how this can be confusing because there are several types of "Export" drop downs. For exporting issues you can export to .csv by following these steps: * Go to the board or project you wish to export * On the left side, click on Issues * On the top right of your screen, click on "View all issues and…

I believe Service Desk can only access one Knowledge Base

Total time for all cards or total time for all cards that are linked to one another?
-
If they are just attachments of code (for reference, learning, ect.) you should use the "Code Block" Macro. This will allow you to set your Syntax to HTML or Java for you to insert code. If you are trying to do something else, I wouldn't recommend it and I can't help with that.
-
Are you trying to upload these files to use in Confluence or just to reference?

Hey Jon, Go to the story that you wish to add to the epic and follow these steps: * Edit > Epic Link > Click the drop down and select the Epic Link that matches what you want * If Epic Link is not showing on the Configured Fields, follow these steps:* Edit > Configure Fields (top right) > Select Epic Link * If Epic Link…

Have you dug into the Swimlanes yet? Swimlanes allow users to use one board for multiple projects such as backlogs. Is this what you are looking for? If so, I can explain more

You have to go back into the workflow, click on the status (i.e. To-Do or In-Progress" and check the box that states "Allow all statuses to transition into this one". You can check this box for any status that you would like to transtion "to" and "from" Hope this helps!

This is weird answering my own question. After researching and collaborating with teammates, we installed a plug in called "Design and Layout for JIRA Service Desk" which allows you to write a very short code using HTML. * Install "Design and Layout for JIRA Service Desk" * Go to Settings>Applications> Design & Layout for…

I would like to have a different page template open when I click create instead of having to click the 3 dots. Clicking Create automagically creates a new blank page from a blank template image2017-3-22 10:55:11.png

A request type is the same as an issue type, except JIRA Service Desk naming convention is different. Try this: * Go to Settings > Issues * Make sure you are on the Issue Types tab on the left * You should see all your Issue Types (Request Types) * Click on Edit * Here you can change the Name/Image I hope you find this…
