@Christian Giroux it is possible to have one issue type at the subtask level for now. We will look to extend this in the future but there is no ETA on this
-
@Jocelyn Ramirez this is in progress at the moment... https://www.atlassian.com/software/jira/whats-new/next-gen#intheworks ("Enable everyone on the team to personalize their view of the board")

@Paul Bremeyer can you confirm whether the story is in the Backlog? When the Backlog is enabled, any new issue created (other than inline on the Board) will go into the Backlog.

@Surbhi Sharma it's currently only possible to have subtask level issue type. We do want top expand this in the future. Thanks

It's now possible to filter by epic and group by subtasks!

The best way right now is to filter on the epic and then use the inline create. This will automatically add an epic to the issue you have created. We'll look to improve this further in the future and there is no ETA for that at the moment.

@ulich this should now be resolved for you - the ordering of swimlanes will respect the rank of the story and will align with your backlog view and issue view. Let me know if you have any further questions!
-
@Michael Magnussen we've just introduced ranking in the issue view! There are a couple of places for us to add real time updates being reflected across the views but the majority is in place now. Let me know if you have any further questions :)

@Abhijith Jayakumar whilst we have been making a lot of improvements with work assignment in the product, improvements to the import tool around issue linking are further down our backlog. In the meantime, we are just about to facilitate the bulk adding of issues to an epic in the Backlog view by adding an epic panel (if…

@Juvenal Trajano da Filho we couldn't reproduce this. Can you raise a support ticket at support.atlassian.com if you are still having problems?

@Stephan Knobloch you can also set up a subscription to a saved filter. That would allow an email to be automatically sent on a predefined schedule with the issues and columns that you configure. One caveat is that I notice the issue type icons aren't getting rendered in my mail client so we'll take a look at that.
-
@[deleted] you can't share any configuration (yet) with next-gen projects - so if you already have a risk issue type configured from before then this cannot be used in next-gen. You need to create a new issue type in each next-gen project and rename it to "Risk" (or whatever you want). Creating issue types in next-gen…

We just started rolling out! Should be with you very soon

+1 to what @Angélica Luz mentioned. This is something on our radar to improve - and we're currently juggling a few other things before we can get to it
-
@Erika Devine you might be encountering the problem raised here... https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JSWCLOUD-18065 There is a fix in progress for this. Sorry for the inconvenience
-
The solution we are working on for fixing the filtering/grouping problem will give you a view of all work under an epic when grouping for subtasks is enabled. Although you won't see the story and tasks relationship on the board (only in the issue view). I hope this helps.

@Rashid Iqbal subtasks have just recently become available in next-gen projects. The icon is new in the issue view, to be a generic add child icon. Introducing subtasks for breaking down work in next-gen projects For the backlog question, it's likely you started with a kanban template where the backlog is disabled by…
