Hi all, we're going to start opening up early access slowly over the coming days. Let me know if you want to be one of the first to take a tour and give feedback. You can email me on eryan@atlassian.com Looking forward to chatting!
-
Thanks @Alex Koxaras -Relational- - we'll let you switch on and off the changes based on your email address during the early access program (EAP). No one else on your site will see these changes unless they have also signed up for the EAP.
-
Thanks for asking and thank you to everyone that has signed up so far. We are targeting the week of May 22nd @Erki Tammik, although I'll confirm this next week when we'll publish another article on the specifics. Looking forward to hearing what you all think!!

For detailed information on closed sprints in TMP projects - including burndown chart, issues completed, scope change, etc - the best report is the Sprint Burndown chart!

Hi @Rob Soma-Lewis Primarily this just hasn't been a highly requested feature in Cloud relative to other suggestions and feedback that we receive. It is however something currently on our 6-12 month roadmap to close the feature gaps with Jira Software Server/Data Center. I hope this helps. Cheers

I've added a new answer to the top of this post. Hope this helps :)

Hi all. There's a few old threads on here and an old accepted answer that is no longer accurate. I'm going to create a new accepted answer so please let me know if this doesn't address your needs if you are reading this or have posted a comment on here previously. There are currently two ways to view work within an old…

Hi @Rob Soma-Lewis Since my previous post, we have built more workflow power into Team-managed projects and there are further alternatives for how you can achieve the result you are looking for. One potential for you to explore is to create a status called "Deprioritised" (or whatever you find is most descriptive for your…

Thanks for responding @Alan Ferneyhough That's what I was slightly worried about. I've tried to recreate and I don't have the problem so I may be doing something different to you. If you wanted to jump on zoom at some point I'd love to see if we can tease out why we see different behavior. I understand you've got a…

Hi @al and @Trudy P Claspill You don't need to have the statuses mapped to the same column - but you do need to ensure the statuses of the epic and the children are all in the Done status category (and hence have a resolution applied), and that all the child issues have been cleared from the view. Mapping the statuses to…

Hi @Derick Barrientos Has story point estimation been enabled in "Project Settings - Features" and have you added the "Story point estimate" field to the issue type that you are working with in "Project Settings - Issue Types"? Cheers
-
Hi Robert. It's something we'll support eventually but it's not coming soon - we're focusing on workflows, filtering, performance, and multiple boards in a TMP project over the next 9+ months. Best to use Company Managed Projects in the meantime if this is something you need. Hope this helps!

Time estimation is now available in Team-managed projects :)

Time estimation and time tracking is now available on Team-managed projects (formerly known as next-gen)
-
This is available in Team managed Projects as of August 2021 :)
-
It's just been made available! Let me know if you have any problems :)
-
Hi @Helius.Guimaraes - it's great to hear that next-gen has been a great tool for you and also it's great to hear you are sticking with Jira Software as your usage has evolved and grown over the past couple of years. We see that users that use both project types are our most satisfied users, and organisations that use both…

Hi @Bill Sheboy! Thanks for the feedback. The aim is to expand the improved process to all teams within Atlassian, provided we can validate positive impact for it. So whilst we have started quite narrow with this pilot, we hope to see something similar for company managed projects and Jira Software more broadly in the…

Hi @Kevin Merritt , you can watch and vote on https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JSWCLOUD-17471 for the ability to move an issue from backlog to board from the issue screen. I am confident we will solve for this need (in a way that makes sense for multiple boards per project and cross project boards, as well as in the more…

@billy jean A project admin can "Add item" and add a shortcut - where any URL can be given a title and added to the left hand project navigation. Let me know if this works
-
@SpringServe Support Have you tried to use the Checkbox field as an alternative? Keen to hear any limitations of this from you. Cheers Eoin Product manager
-
@matt.belway it should prevent the transition happening. Can you share a screenshot of your rule and explain what it is you are trying to do?

This page describes the feature that was released and all the ways to manipulate the parent child relationship from the issue itself https://support.atlassian.com/jira-core-cloud/docs/create-an-issue-and-a-sub-task/ Thanks

Hi @Elle E. Benami - it's not possible right now to create multiple boards in a next-gen project. However this is something will be bringing to next-gen projects, although we have yet to start this work on this feature. Please add your votes to https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JSWCLOUD-17371 and watch the suggestion to…

This is being rolled out right now! :)

It's possible to * Add the "Time tracking" field to an Issue Type in next-gen Project settings. * Log time and Time remaining from the Issue View * Have logged time show up in the Worklogs We have not yet built the time tracking report although it will be something we make available in the future - most likely 1+ year time…

We are gathering feedback on having a view where you can see all subtask level issues and base level issues (i.e. story, bug, task, etc) on the Board at the same time here https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JSWCLOUD-18064 Thanks Eoin
