  • Hi Siegfried, I guess we all have different business requirements :) I would expect this to be logic on the monitoring side (and it's something we at Broadcom build in on the monitoring side) and we always classify an incident above a maintenance. We suppress alerts on monitoring during maintenance too. However, I…
  • Hi Siegfried, Welcome to the Atlassian Community! If the monitoring triggered an alert and it changed the components status to 'major outage' then this would prioritize as you are directly changing the status of the component. The way to avoid this would be to add some logic into the monitoring that checks if the component…
  • Hi Mahendran, Welcome to the Atlassian Community! You are not able to add custom fields to Statuspage. However, when you create an incident and it progresses through it's marked with an 'Impact' severity from Critical, Major, Minor or None. Perhaps this could work for you?…
  • It's a bit of shame but enhancements for Statuspage are not really monitored in the Community. It's something I'm going to raise with our CSM and also the Statuspage team to try and get something more solid in place for enhancements. In the meantime, I would encourage you to raise a ticket with the Statuspage team outling…
  • Hi Dmitrii, This isn't possible with Statuspage at the moment. There is an enhancement I believe in the backlog but I can't find the request number! I know I requested this when we first requested the uptime showcase feature a few years ago (we were one of the vocal customers for this). Thanks, Nick
  • Hi Tarjei, If you're using automation to change the component statuses then you'll need to configure the automation to keep the statuses in 'Under Maintenance'. I'm not sure if this is doable for OpsGenie as I don't use this. Thanks, Nick
  • Hi Jamie, Everything with Statuspage is encrypted via SSL/TLS, from frontend UI to API calls. I manage the Broadcom page and I came from the Symantec acquisition. As you can imagine, Symantec being a security company, Statuspage went through a lot of security and we deemed everything is safe, specifically as Atlassian has…

  • Hi Jamie, This wouldn't be possible out of the box. By default all components are shown regardless of whether they are operational or not. At Broadcom we use audience-specific pages and have set up components mapping to customer tenants. When a customer logs in they only see their components/environment. However appreciate…
  • Hi Jamie, Please add this into the 'footer' in the customization area, not the header. The are referring to add this to the <head> section but we do not have access to customize this. See attached (I've tested and this works on my own pages). Thanks, Nick
  • Hi Dawud, You'll need to contact Atlassian Support & ask for them to delete your trial page. There isn't a way at the moment to delete them through the UI. Thanks, Nick
  • Hi Logan, You'll need all your other team members to go in and change it. It's definitely annoying but I have fed this back to the product team over 2 years ago and hopefully with the migration to Atlassian ID there may be a future update for admins to set this at organization level. Hope this helps. Thanks, Nick
  • Hi Logan, You need to click on the profile image, bottom left of the green sidebar -> Profile -> Uncheck the checkbox next to 'Long-running incident notifications'. Hope this helps & if it does please mark this as the answer. Thanks, Nick
  • Hi Connor & George, As a long-term Statuspage customer, I wouldn't want that line changing once an incident is resolved. We use that to indicate the severity of the incident (in fact all 20000 of our customers do). Providing the Components are set back to Operational I don't see the value in having an incident severity set…
  • Hi Jeffrey, Welcome to the Atlassian Community. The "get a metric" endpoint will only return the metadata. I can't see an API endpoint that would get the specific data points that were posted. I also assume only the last 28 days of data are retained (as per the KB…
  • Hi Aleksandra, Welcome to the Atlassian Community. There is no way to disable or change the refresh from within Statuspage. I've had a look at the source code of one of my pages as I thought it would have been a meta refresh (which we can't modify any meta data) but appears not. I assume this is some sort of Javascript…
  • @Troy Dunton SPSP-19625 is the ticket :)
  • Ok so I was on a call with our CSM and one of the support engineers about another issue and I mentioned this to him (figured he wouldn't mind) ... the documentation isn't clear. You need actually put in the ID of the component rather than "component_id" e.g. "123456abc": "major_outage" Atlassian will work on making it…
  • I think maybe the API documentation is wrong because you wouldn't be passing a component_id through for a status... If you look at the Component endpoint, you pass through the 'status'. Maybe try replacing component_id in the components block with "status": "major_outage" and see if that works? Thanks, Nick
  • Hi Troy, Currently there is no way to do this. However, I logged a request with the Atlassian team a while back for this enhancement. I'll ask our CSM on my call tomorrow what the backlog item is and share it here so you can ask to upvote it. Thanks, Nick
  • Getting there! WOOP!
  • Hi Kaito, Welcome to the Atlassian Community! Once your site admin has added you to the group, they will also need to go into the Statuspage Management Portal and set up permissions there: "When site or org admin adds a new user through Atlassian administration, the admin will need to finish the new user’s account setup in…
  • Hi Shubham, There isn't an API endpoint to create a new page. You need to go through the UI to create a page and then use the API to move from Staytus to Statuspage. I don't think anyone has created an import app either! Thanks, Nick
  • Howdy! I'm Nick and I can usually be found helping out in the Statuspage area on the Atlassian Community. I'm from a little village called Bishops Cleeve in Cheltenham, UK. Surrounded by beautiful hills. I am responsible for Broadcom's Service Status platform, proudly powered by Atlassian Statuspage (customer for almost 6…
  • Someone from the Atlassian team can confirm but I understand the pageviews/visitors was removed from this feature due to GDPR concerns.
  • Hi Angela, I'm a long-time Statuspage customer and I asked this question at every Summit I've been too with the Training team but there doesn't seem to be any formal training or certifications for Statuspage. I suspect if there was it'd fit under the Jira Service Management path as incident management sits under service…
  • Hi Patrick, Welcome to the Atlassian Community! You would need to add custom HTML & CSS which is available on private plan Growth and higher. If you're on the starter plan then this isn't possible. If you're on one of the plans that supports this, navigate to Your page -> Customize page and email -> Customize HTML & CSS.…
  • Hi Lana, I would recommend raising this as a product enhancement request so that this goes to the Atlassian PMs for Statuspage. I could see how this would be beneficial and could be something we at Broadcom may look at using if this was available. Thanks, Nick
  • Hi Peter, Welcome to the Atlassian Community! Unfortunately it's not possible to be able to split out the notifications. As soon as you create an incident, associate the components and have the 'send notifications' checked, Statuspage will send the notification to all subscribers. Thanks, Nick
  • Hi @Renato Ítalo Just wanted to let you know that Broadcom has used the LocalizeJS plugin for some time and it works great. We have been able to override the translation where it's appeared incorrect via the LocalizeJS app. Hope this helps, just thought I'd share from a customer perspective :) Thanks, Nick
  • Hi @Michelle Muiruri , welcome to the Atlassian Community! There isn't a way to move impacted to components to the top of the page during an incident. However, when there is an on-going incident it will appear at the top of the page and your customers can then drill down into the incident to see the impacted components.…
