I normally email billing@statuspage.io for page activations. Parker usually picks these up :)
-
No problem, Ryan! Just wanted to make sure you get the right help :)
-
Hi Ryan, Could you let us know which Atlassian product you are using? You've posted this in the Statuspage community area so want to make sure you're getting the right help (the above doesn't look like anything to do with Statuspage). Thanks, Nick

Hi Paul, At Symantec we have 13 pages all within the same organisation account, and I've been able to create several projects in JiraOps and link them to separate pages within our account, and when I raise an Incident in JiraOps and send comms out it posts to the page associated with that project. Are you seeing something…

Awesome job! I've been waiting for this feature for a while, so thank you ❤️

At Symantec, we had a similar requirement where our components were essentially different products so customers would only be interested in the products they have purchased. Our overall solution was to actually create separate Statuspage's and build a static landing site using the Statuspage Javascript Widget (which…

Hi Greg, Just curious what the reason is to send a tweet to advise that everything is operational? I know this wouldn't be something we would use at Symantec as our customers only want to see tweets when service is unavailable as it'll clog up the Twitter feed. As far as out of the box functionality with Statuspage, there…

I am actually going through the process of renaming the text link across our pages to say "Incident & Maintenance History" as the incident history does also contain maintenance and is confusing to our customers. This can be achieved by adding HTML to the footer. We've had this request about release notes from teams at…
-
Definitely! I'll probably spend a lot of time at the booth 😁

Oh, awesome, thank you @shannyshan 🎉 Great news just in time for Summit too!
-
Hey @shannyshan, absolutely! I would be honoured to expand on this in a guest blog post :) I'll drop you an email and we can go from there.
-
Tip: Why bother communicating if your customers cannot easily find out about incidents? Promote your external or internal status page through Social Media & on-boarding emails to customers/users, to name a couple. Integrate with your existing portal(s) or applications (web/iOS/Android) to inform customers of incidents and…

Thanks @rk-7digital. The landing page is custom made, it's a simple 1 HTML page (with CSS + JS) that connects to the Statuspage.js widget and pulls the top-level page status of each of our pages. Sits on on an AWS Cloudfront distribution that pulls from an S3 Bucket - super simple, cost very little to run but generates…
-
Welcome, Sam! Look forward to hopefully seeing you around Summit!
-
Welcome, Andy! ScriptRunner was one of the "must-have" addons for us at Symantec when we were implementing JIRA - such as useful, must-have!
-
Nice to meet you Rasmus, too! Sounds like you have some awesome experience with Atlassian tools!
-
Unfortunately no, we don't integrate any of our monitoring tools (at the moment) with Statuspage.
-
Ah yes, I see what you mean. I thought the rules in Statuspage were more advanced than they currently are. The other option, and I don't know if PagerDuty can do this, is to get PD to email a "DOWN" command to the component email address, as outlined here:…
-
Hi Martin, Have you seen the Statuspage.io Integration with PagerDuty: https://www.pagerduty.com/docs/guides/statuspage-io-integration-guide/ I think this is what you're trying to achieve: * Ability to degrade one or more components when a PagerDuty incident is triggered Hope the above helps. Thanks, Nick

Hey Jake, Sure, I should have included it in my original post! Here it is: https://email.status.symantec.com/incidents/ckqszjwgkhzk I'm going to go back to the team and advise that we should be creating new maintenance and linking back to the original (now completed) maintenance. We should probably update the title of it…
-
Hey Jake, Many thanks for the advice! I'm not sure what the reason was for not going down the path to post one maintenance a day... I'll try and find out from the C3 team. I'm going to go back to the team and suggest we do post a daily maintenance. Luckily, Statuspage provides the scheduling automation so will make it…

Best practice is to store Javascript towards the end (before the end body tag). However, if the Statuspage is in trial mode, the widget won't work - this happened to me several times (I manage multiple pages for Symantec). Admittedly haven't tried to embed it into a Confluence page though. Thanks, Nick
-
Hey Dalton, Appreciate you posted this back in February but wondering if you managed to get it working? As the code is JavaScript you would most likely need to include it in the HTML of the theme directly, usually in the footer template. Let me know if you still need any help! Thanks, Nick

Hey @shannyshan, Just wanted to say that Symantec received the poster a week ago & it's proudly up in the office! Thank you! When I'm next in, will take a snap! Thanks, Nick
-
Hi Neil, It's not something that is out of the box but maybe there could be some customisation? We (Symantec) remove the Past Incidents from the homepage of all 8 of our Statuspage's for several reasons (i.e. makes the page longer so more scrolling; maintenance posts tend to be quite lengthy so the past incidents are…

It hasn't been released yet in BETA. I had a call wth Steve about a week and half ago, and was advised it would be available in a couple of weeks. Maybe Steve could confirm?
-
Thanks Steve - looking forward to testing this out!
-
This looks awesome! Jake showed me this yesterday in a catch up call and can see this being hugely beneficial for Symantec!
