Hi McMahon - Welcome to the Atlassian Community! I am selecting Marc's answer as Accepted. Please let us know if you still have questions.

Hi Andrei, I think it is just a preference on the part of individuals. Some prefer boards over both the filter or the plans. They are all just views of the same information, so I let people use what they want to use. It's not really clutter to me and they get the view they want.

Can you share what that looks like in the actual rule? I am not following you because you should indeed be able to use the trigger issue in the branch as the trigger issue is still the trigger issue. But also yes, what you had there. But also, why are using using trigger issue at all in the branch JQL? It will already be…

You're still not answering my question, but that is probably okay for now. Did unchecking the box keep it from executing twice now.

Hi Koen, I have never seen automation rearrange fields on a screen. Not even sure how it could do that. From the work item above where it is in the Context section, scroll to the bottom right and click on Configure. Then move the fields from Context section to Description section in that layout.

The condition for each branch would be the condition you have for each rule right now.
-
Hi Anita - Welcome to the Atlassian Community! The Flag comment is simply a comment on the work item. If you have the Edit comment permission, you should be able to edit it under the Comments section on the work item.

Hey Trudy, How many options are we talking about? In cases like that I have used multiple branches with each branch processing for that action but not preventing subsequent branches from processing. Once you do the first branch and all of the actions/conditions under it, then you can copy the branch which will copy all of…

Hi Jamie, The quick answer is that it is more complicated than it is worth on a Free plan. AND that you shouldn't anyway because when a work item is deleted, it is gone forever. So the suggestion is to modify your workflow to add a Status for Canceled or Abandoned or something like that. Then don't map that status to a…

Understood, but how is the transition getting executed? Manually or by automation rule? (You can auto transition work items with an automation rule).

Hi Alprog - Welcome to the Atlassian Community! I am marking Gor's answer as Accepted - please let us know if you still have questions.
-
Hi Parth - Welcome to the Atlassian Community! It's a little more complicated than that. Screens simply hold the fields used by the screen. This initially populates the Work Item layout for that screen with the fields in the same order. In reality it is for the Work Item(s) this screen is attached to via the Screen Scheme.…

Okay, asking again - does this fire because another automation rule moves the work item into the Remover Acessos status? Or does the user manually move it to that status? If manual, then I suggest you remove the check box as that might be what is causing it to fire twice.
-
So, I don't think you answered by other question. Is there another rule that executes that auto transitions the work item to this status? If not, is the box checked for the rule that says to allow it to execute from another rule? It is on the Rule Details page.

I filled out the survey from Team 26 and won a $100 gift card!!
-
Hi Jader - If you check the audit log for the rule, do you see if it executed twice or not? Is there another automation this is executing an auto transition that would trigger this rule?
-
Hi Martin, Supposedly that should work. Try adding the Condition as a separate component instead of being bundled with the Trigger. And don't use the " quote marks in your value in the Condition. Now, having said that I think I just realized you are tying to tell which transition was just executed? If that's the case, the…

Hey Mike, You might try asking Rovo to build a Confluence page for you with the details. Be sure to be as specific as you can be for what you want in the prompt. I have not actually tried to do this before, but it will be interesting to see what it does with it.
-
Hi Julie - Welcome to the Atlassian Community! Is this a Company-managed space or Team-managed space. You can't change the order in the workflow. It has to be done on the board. Also sounds like it might be a browser issue. Try using a different browser, or use with Incognito or Private window mode.

Hi Stuart - Welcome to the Atlassian Community! No, the free status should not prevent you from having the permissions to install Apps. I am going to flag this for someone from Atlassian to come help since you are on a Free subscription.

Hi Dev - I suggest you check out the Revyz Configuration Manager for Jira (configurations only) or the Revyz Command Center for Jira (configs AND data). You can do a free trial and do your move. It will NOT duplicate the names of the configuration components (fields, statuses, etc.).

Very good course with lots of excellent content. Looking forward to implementing some of these things. Thanks @Tori Kaulins also for this series - well done!

Hi NTT - Did you ever get this resolved?
-
Hi Dulari - Welcome to the Atlassian Community! (You, too, Gabriela!) As Gabriela said, Confluence would be the place to create that. However, you can use Rovo to help with that based on a project/space in Jira or even on a Jira Work Item, depending on where you have the base information. You can start there, engage Rovo…

Wonderful to see! High fives to all of you!!

Very cool! Looking forward to trying it out.

Hi Noopur - There is actually a loophole that you might try to exploit with the hierarchy. You cannot create a work item manually and skip over a level in the hierarchy. But if you create the work item using an Automation flow, it will actually let you link to any level above it as the parent. The question becomes how…

Hi Alaa - Welcome to the Atlassian Community! Can you share a screen shot from the Jira issue that shows the Development information?
