Good to see solutions that bring about/satisfy real outcomes. This will be a big help in our organization I think.

I think we have exhausted the help we can give you here. I suggest you open a support ticket with Atlassian so they can delve into it. Please post back here with the resolution, as we would all be interested in the cause. https://support.atlassian.com/contact#/ Best of luck!

@Uzair Ahmed Use your Permission Helper to for the Browse Projects and Create Work Item permissions to see what it says.

Hi Abilash - a couple of questions. 1. Did you try the tagging pretty soon after the users were added to the Team? Say within an our or two? If so, then maybe try it again now that some time has passed. 2. Is the Team tied to a Group in Jira? Or is it just a stand alone Team with members directly added to it (versus to the…

Happy 250th Birthday, America!!!

Legacy processes and team functions are often siloed in their implementation. Our organization was no different in that regard than many. Different teams using different tools with isolated data resulting in duplicate entry of the same data in multiple places. This has been overcome by bringing multiple teams into both…

Hi Jira - you need to probably turn on the Sub-tasks. Go to Settings > Work Items > Sub-tasks and make sure they are turned on. Then make make sure you add the Sub-task type to the Work type scheme used by that project/space. Then you must create the Sub-task from a Level 0 wok item. Go to the Work item that is to be the…

Hi Rim, No, you don't need Premium to have a hierarchy of Level 0 and Level -1. You also do not need Premium to have Level 1, Level 0 and Level -1. You only need Premium when you add Level 2.

Hi Takeshi - Welcome to the Atlassian Community! Did you get AI/Rovo set up for your instance?
-
Since it is a scheduled trigger, you should have a JQL statement in the Scheduled part of the trigger. Can you share the details of that?
-
It's probably best then that you open a support ticket with Atlassian to get their feedback/guidance. Please report back here with the solution. Best of luck! https://support.atlassian.com/contact#/

In order for AI to be truly successful at this, you must have a robust source of truth and data - a really great knowledge base if you will. The AI Agent is only as good as what it has access to. Having said that, I have found the Atlassian AI agent to be very helpful when reporting a problem. Maybe 40% of the time I am…

What is the trigger? When a sub-task is created? When the PAIR field is populate on the parent?

Hi Mamidipaka - Welcome to the Atlassian Community! Your best best is a third party app from the Marketplace, like ScriptRunner Behaviours. Or if there are not a lot of statuses in your workflow, here is what I do. Create separate Edit screen and view screen for the project/space and even work type if applicable. Then on…

Hi Sujan - Welcome to the Atlassian Community! I am marking Pallavi's answer as Accepted. Please let us know if you have more questions.

Ah, gotcha. Your best bet is probably just to create a Filter, but you would need to change out the name each time. There is no way to pass the name through to a dynamic filter. You might actually try to build an app like that using the new Rovo Studio.

I think of my mom and dad - both of whom would have turned 100 last year if they had lived. My father died in 2012, and I was able to be by his side. He was 87. My mom died in 2020 at 94. I was able to visit her and say goodbye the afternoon before she passed in the night. What a gift from God that I was able to be with…

Hi Tobias, That would tell me you don't have permission to Create Work Items on that space. What type of space is it? Company-managed? Team-managed? Jira Software? JSM?
-
Hi Pim, This is just an end user community. You will need to create a support ticket with Atlassian to suggest that change. https://support.atlassian.com/contact#/ However, be aware that even if they consider it, it could take years to be implemented. So you need to find another solution in the short term.

Hi Eric - I am marking Danut's answer as accepted. Please let us know if you still have questions.

Hi Sankalp, A couple of things to check. In the JSM project, make sure you have the Service Desk Team project role. In the Confluence space, make sure you have view permissions for the Confluence space you are trying to link. Only spaces you can view will appear in the list.

Hi Raina - Welcome to the Atlassian Community! What is the message you received? Can you share a screenshot?

Hi Chloe - Welcome to the Atlassian Community! Can you give a more detailed explaining of what you are trying to do?

Hi Glenn - What do you mean by PAIR? And can you share the automation rule that you have so far and where it is going wrong?

Hi Agasull - I am marking Gor's answer as Accepted. Please let us know if you still have questions.

Hi Jamie - Welcome to the Atlassian Community! So did you try it? I would think that should work but have never tried with a variable.

Hi Rosa, Access to Jira projects has always required a paid license unless the total number of users was less than 10. You might be thinking of the Customer license available for Jira Service Management projects/spaces which are indeed free. But JSM Customer licenses do not give the user access to Jira projects/spaces.
