Hi @Harsha Puttagunta and welcome to the community. :) There's a website by Atlassian fittingly named "Compare Atlassian Cloud and Data Center". 😉 Did you already check that website for a comparison between Datacenter and Cloud? If you additionally need to understand the difference between Jira Server that is close to its…

Hi @Lai_ Hongyu_ Lianwei China You mentioned the user directory connected to your Jira instance is configured as read-only. It doesn't matter that you're a Jira administrator at this point because the directory is external. You need someone administering the user directory for your changes regarding the group membership.…

Hi @Ghulam Sarwar, and welcome to the Atlassian community! Did you click the link in the error message and read through the documentation? If not, please do so. :) There a certain limitations when working on active workflows. It's a bit cumbersome, but you should create a copy, make your changes, and then switch the…

Hey Eric, I just tested something on a different instance of mine. It seems like activating the new "Enhance my board and backlog" setting makes the status bar message disappear. You can reproduce it by switching it on and off. I left some feedback about this in the product. I suggest you do the same. :) Best, Max

Hey Deepak, exactly, view restrictions are inherited further down the page tree. So if you "closed the circle" of users with access once, you will not be able to add different people to a child page after.

Hey @Maxine Freedman-Thompson Can you give us some more information about what kind of projects you were moving the issues? Because the answer is it depends. There are a few things to keep in mind, and it heavily depends on the type of projects we're discussing. Did you move from a team-managed project to a company-managed…

Hey @Bahali,Sudipta , welcome to the community. Quoting the official product website and the available FAQ (you're welcome 😉) and saying "Kind of possible" 😄 Advanced Roadmaps is a planning feature available in Jira Software Premium designed for planning and tracking initiatives involving multiple teams and projects.…

Hey @Deepak Chandrashekar Naik The most important thing to understand and keep in mind is that Confluence is designed to be an open system. That means that it's pretty complicated to establish a system that is closed by default, and users get access to some parts of the content within a single space. To say this upfront:…

Hey @Eric Roetenberg hovering over the three-dot menu will still display the hyperlink with the sprint ID value at the end of the URL. Did you maybe switch off the status bar in your browser? Best, Max

Hey @Manuel Allamellou, and welcome to the Atlassian community. 👋🏼 This is a public forum for all things Atlassian, and we can't say whether the field is mandatory for an issue or not in your project. It depends on the configuration, and you should try to identify the right person, a Jira administrator, to talk to within…

Hi @Kim Merry, and welcome to the community! Can it be that you're using a Kanban board? There's a Kanban board sub-filter that further filters the issues considered done and hence dropped from the board. The good thing is they are not gone but are not visible on the board anymore because they do not match the filter. In…

Hey @Sam Singh , welcome to the community. It doesn't seem to be reproducible for me. Are you sure you're not using any special character? Maybe create a loom recording and use the lower case letter "i" and reach out to Atlassian Support. :) Best, Max

Hey @Joel Fleurant, Can you be more precise about the "nothing happens" part? No progress bar appears after selecting the backup?
-
@Shashank Shivam As @Clark Everson was so kind to point out, most of the users in this community will be Jira users and most likely don't know ALM. As you know your requirements best, maybe start evaluating the tools yourself and see what could be a good solution. We also don't know how many users you have, etc. Pricing…

Hey @Angélica Marques The other users must be request participants in the issue that you want to share. There are two different settings that you should have a look at to enable others to share the issues and have issues been automatically shared within organizations: * Customer permissions in the project configuration *…

Hey @patilabhay0317 , welcome to the community. The modal that opens when deleting a draft page is pretty clear: So, no, you can't restore a deleted draft. :( Best, Max

Hey @Ines Weißgerber The better place to address this issue should be the marketplace vendors support portal: EPS Help Center They will be in the best position to shed light on the issue. Best, Max

Hey @Roman Meister, I removed my former response as I was testing the behavior and it feels like a weird bug to me because I ran into the same issue when viewing the page (Missing permissions), would have been able to move it in Edit mode, and after saving the page I was able to move in when viewing the page. So..... Very…

Looking at status.atlassian.com, there was an incident that should now be resolved. Is it the same for your issue?

Hey @Prasad Kotambe, Given you're an administrator, the process of creating a project is pretty straightforward. Can you please follow the step-by-step instructions in the documentation and tell us if you were successful? :) * Create a service project Best, Max

Hi @Sonia Mathew I'm quoting the documentation: How do I track storage for each product? You must be a site admin to track storage. To track storage for your site: * Go to admin.atlassian.com. Select your organization if you have more than one. * This step is different depending on your user management experience: -…

Hey @John Lee Williams , welcome to the Atlassian Community! I took the liberty of moving your post from the Jira Product group to the Welcome Center. Did you start a new job at a company working with Atlassian tools, or what made you come here? Because now that you introduced yourself, I'm curious. 😄 Best, Max

Hi @Victoria Sedaya You can't limit an administrator's capabilities in Jira the way you ask for. Either the user is able to manage only one or multiple company-managed projects with very limited capabilities or requires the global "Administer Jira" permission and then can manage everything. If you're using team-managed…
-
No, there's no limitation per se. But depending on the changes you want to perform it can be enough to be a project administrator with extended project administration privileges. It's more likely that you need to be a global administrator and the global permissions is assigned to user groups. So you will need to be a part…

Hey @Priyajm , welcome to the community. I think you ended up in the wrong place. We are no administrators of that…
