That sounds like a trip. Do you think you will head home to Iceland at some point?

Nice @Kristján Geir Mathiesen! What countries have you been living in?

Hi @Lacey Also this change was introduced in Jira 8.2. You can find it mentioned in the release notes: Jira Software 8.2.x release notes - Color updates for issue statuses To bring more consistency between the Jira Server and Jira Cloud applications, and to move another step closer to the new Atlassian Design direction,…

HI @Igor Rudich , do you want to modify the reporter? It sounds like it to me. This action has its own project permission called "Modify Reporter" in the Permission scheme! I hope that answers your question. Best, Max

Hi @Avivit Zamir , the sprint report will show all issues that have been resolved (like we discussed above) and are part of the sprint / included by the board filter. So yes, other statuses can be displayed in the completed section of the report but they have to be mapped to the right-most column of the board and a…

Hey @Antonio de la Peña by "managing" you mean to set up a connection and configure sync operations? I am very sure that this is not possible without the admin permission. You need to access the administration of Jira and therefore need the permission. Or have I perhaps misunderstood you? Let me know :) Best, Max

Hi @neli.trosic, maybe I can be of help here. I'm part of the team behind "sumUp for Jira" which is available for Jira Cloud. It adds a set of gadgets to Jira and one of them is the "Grouped Filter Results" gadget which should be a possible solution for the aforementioned use case. The configuration of the gadget will take…

Hi @Richard Herman do you have the same use case as Srinath? Do you want to see story points grouped by statuses? If yes, what has already been said in this thread is still valid! :) sumUp for Jira offers a set of gadget and one of them is the "Grouped Filter Results". See an example screenshot of the gadget and…

Hey @M.Fad , I think your "Inivitations to connect" setting does not allow to add you. :) At least I wasn't able to.

Reading the comments by all of you and the response by Atlassian talking about the inline comments in edit mode made me even happier than the initial post. Sorry, @DA 😁 Great news everywhere!

Another strong reason why I love this ecosystem and the community so much!

Hi @Ingo , the problem here is that you are using Jira Core. Epics are not a feature of Jira Core. They are part of the agile features of Jira Software. Best, Max

Hi @Marilo Meta , nice to e-meet you here and welcome to the community! :)

I like the rainbow, I'm happy. 😁🌈

Hey Sarah! Welcome to the community, here's a great place to start your journey. Recently an article about an Atlassian Confluence tutorial for beginners had been shared on social media. There are also two free Skillbuilder seminars about Confluence Content Management and using Confluence for Documentation/Knowledge bases…

Hi @Janelle Learned , Welcome to the community! Just to make sure, are you talking about a Scrum board or a Kanban board? If you are talking about a Kanban Board (the board view is called "Kanban Board"), it is very likely that something is preventing you from transition the issue to the first status/first column on the…
-
Hey @jinanadun oh, interesting. My Bad! I thought you need a more dynamic approach, not just this specific issue, which of course is easy to exclude from a filter. Additionally, everyone (with access to it) can have a look at the filter and will know the issue you're specifically removing from the filter. So it is removed…

Hey @Sophia Pope for Confluence to be able to recognize an assignee and a due date belonging to a task the information has to be together in the task and not spread across multiple columns. So you are already aware of a possible solution here. For the task report to properly work you will have to add the information to the…

@Kat Warner , thanks for reminding me! It's been a while since I last checked the account! :D

I wanted to write the following: I think it's unfortunate that the Atlassian ID and the Certmetrics account have to be the same email address. I guess I'm not the only one using a personal email for my certifications (like you are advised to do when you register) and my work email for my Atlassian ID. And then I just tried…

Hi Dan, I'm quoting the Purchasing & Licensing FAQ for you to answer that question: Would additional licenses be required if multiple instances of the software were to be installed on a single server? * Yes, additional licenses would be required. Each license permits only the deployment of a single instance of the software…

The access to issues is normally granted by project permissions and on a project basis. If you need to hide individual issues from other users you should look in the issue-level security and maybe using the project permission "Browse Projects" (using reporter/assignee values, see this KB article for a better understanding:…

@Ben Thoma already did yesterday and will do it again throughout May! 👍🏻

Hey @Chris Shaffer , validators are added to transitions and it seems you're looking in the wrong place (statuses). Best, Max

Hey @Sagar Gupta Welcome to the community! Have you thought about using an issue collector in projects? Using the issue collector Best, Max

Hey @Patrick Vanhoof , since every picture on the page is basically also an attachment, I can understand that this is the standard here. Imagine you copy a page, maybe move it to another space and attachments would not be copied but only referenced from the original page. Imagine to copy this page again sometime, how…

Wow! That's a great offering and I hope that lots of people take advantage of that.
