Thank you for the awesome update, @Monique vdB All the best to the Community Advisory Board. :)

You're welcome, Parveen. :)

Hey @Nikhil, Vaibhav You will most likely be able to identify your Confluence version by looking at the bottom of the website. The standard theme for Confluence has a line at the bottom stating the version. If you don't see that line, you can visit <Your Confluence Base URL>/admin/systeminfo.action and find out the version…

Hey @Eman Alfaour To my knowledge, it's not possible to restrict access to the audit log. On Server / Datacenter, access requires the Jira Administrator global permission. You can restrict it to Jira System Administrators setting a property. You can find details in the documentation: * Auditing in Jira I'm not aware of a…

Hi @Parveen Vats So you don't see the following option for your user in the space menu? Can you verify that your user is a product admin with the right permissions to create spaces? You can quickly check in the global permissions. Best, Max

Ugh, okay. This will be tricky... Maybe your Partner Manager knows more... 😄

Hey Tom, I'm not exactly sure what resources you're reading but isn't this link at the bottom of the page? Best, Max

Hi @Ben Weisman Jira Work Management is part of Jira Software and Jira Service Management. It's not necessary to purchase it additionally. Source: Jira Work Management Pricing & Licensing Best, Max

Do you mind telling us what the issue was? :)
-
Ah, okay, I see. Confluence 7.3.4, so not Confluence Cloud. If you compare the documentation for Cloud and Datacenter, you will notice that the "Split by heading" parameter, or any parameters, is unavailable on Cloud. :(

For me it would be "Californication" 😄

You're welcome! Are you referring to this behavior? "When you import more than one file at a time, they are published as child pages under a restricted placeholder page (titled “Imported pages” with the date and time information). This means you can privately review the imported pages, then organize your content and set…

You're welcome! :)

Hi @Olivier ROBIN, welcome to the community! Creating projects in Jira relies on two global permissions you can access in the Jira System administration. For company-managed projects: You need the "Administer Jira" global permission. For team-managed projects: You need the "Create team-managed projects" global permission.…

HI @Adriano Tagliarina, welcome to the community! You're right. Confluence does not offer a dedicated Edit permission. It is implied with the "Add Page" permission. A way to restrict the editing is to make use of page restrictions. Maybe that is already a solution for you: * Add or remove page restrictions Best, Max
-
Hi @Jens-Uwe Berthold welcome to the community! Could you please check whether you see an "Import" tab next to the Templates one when creating a page? This feature is also available on the free plan. I took a screenshot from it. :) Maybe it's also worthwhile to read this article in the documentation: * Import external…

Hi @Nico Schick, welcome to the community! I feel like I need to make an important point first. Unless your Confluence instance is wide open to the internet, meaning anonymous access, and the space gives anonymous users all permissions to interact with content or create it, you are a licensed user at the moment. You have…

Hi @Sreenadh Could you please tell us the hyperlink from that email? Is it linking to the issue in the customer portal like XYZ.atlassian.net/servicedesk/customer/portal/XY/SDPD-1042? Best, Max

Hey @vyanktesh_chandely You should be able to simply identify issues where a specific user has been mentioned in the comments by using this JQL phrase: comment ~ "62850eb646f77e006f2244a5" Where "62850eb646f77e006f2244a5" is the Account ID of the mentioned user. Best, Max
-
Hi @Raymond Wan I'm not aware of any way to achieve this. Maybe others are. But I would like to ask the general question, why are you trying to keep people from printing and exporting the Confluence contents? I don't understand the general idea behind it. You would also like to disable the printing option of the…

Who is that user? Could there be a connection to your cloud migration after you mentioned a ticket (Atlassian account)? I'm not sure if it's intended at all to be able to list this user in your user management.

Hey there, Let me respond with a similar resource than in your Jira question: * Supported Platforms - Confluence 8.0 So, officially no, but that should not keep you from trying it out or searching for experiences in this community. :) Best, Max
-
Hey there, I'm sure you have come across this part of the documentation already: * Supported platforms - Jira 9.5 Officially supported are SQL Server 2016, 2017, and 2019, but that doesn't mean it's not working with your more recent version. Maybe give it a try! :) Best, Max

Hey @ronenreinheimer, welcome to the community! Do you also lack the ability to modify other aspects of the request (Assignee, Status, etc.)? Could it be that you're no longer a licensed agent in that project? Because internal collaboration is possible without a JSM license. Best, Max
-
You're welcome! :)
-
Hey @Jiří Wetter Could you provide some more details about the user? Is it an old cloud instance that has already been around for a few years? You have some special accounts for apps, for example, or when Atlassian is/was troubleshooting an instance. I haven't seen that in a very long while. The screenshot also shows the…
-
Hi @Kashish Yadav, Unfortunately, not by default. There are a few other community discussions where users suggested using a CSV import to update a higher amount of 1000 issues. Another option would be Atlassian Marketplace apps that claim to be able to update more issues. Is it vital that you update all issues at once, or…
-
Hi @Lavanya_Komala You would like to have two backlogs within the same board, right? That's not possible in Jira, but you can maybe try using Quick Filters instead to filter for specific issue types. Since quick filters can also be combined, you can then also use combinations with other quick filters in the backlog and on…

1. Commuting Style * Mass Transit 2. Commute Time * 0-30 minutes (good half an hour door-to-door if everything runs smoothly) 3. Commute Productivity On my way to the co-working space in the morning, I listen to a science news podcast on Spotify. It's always varied and interesting with short 4-6 minute episodes. On the way…

I'm happy to share my last business travel with you, @Andy Gladstone! 😄 It was mid-November to Amsterdam, just for a day. Flying from Munich to Amsterdam Schiphol went smoothly. There was quite a bit of train chaos at Schiphol for that, but luckily that still allowed me to get to my lunch appointment on time. But flying…
