Hi Ahmed, I saw that the feature request for this is in status "Gathering Interest", so be sure to vote and watch to show your interest. https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JSDSERVER-1239 In the comments, there is a suggestion to follow this blogpost- you could give it a…

Yeah, tall guy, not that good-looking, needed saving.

Email threading on the original discussion/question is working for me in Gmail. It is really, really helpful to have this. Just returned from a vacation, and weeding through emails didn't take as long as I suspected it might, phew. Hopefully improvements can be made for other clients to do this properly.

This made my day- thank you! Another update with very useful functionality for everyone (the bulk-replace tags for mods will save so much time) and the Cloud vs Server question has been on our wish list for forever. Getting these checked off shows that this community is getting better and better.

Hi Ryan, welcome to Community! When you say "It doesn't seem to be a consistent issue", is the problem restricted to only some users all the time, or are these users sometimes able to find their managers? Do you have it set up so that the users can search through everyone, or a pre-defined list? Also, are you on cloud or…

Ok, no problem. I'll remove your first post (as a moderator), so that you'll get all responses here :) I didn't want you to lose any info- thanks for the explanation.

Hi, @Donna Mills, is this the same question? https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-Service-Desk-questions/Decline-handling-for-multiple-approvals/qaq-p/782032

can't see the pictures either ;(

Great answer and I love the photo you chose- what a cool hobby, wandertography :)

Hi Sandeep and welcome to community! You don't need any add-ons to do this. Use the Cascading type custom field and you will be able to configure the fields how you want with countries and states dynamically. Hope this helps! Carolyn

Hi Pourya, Issues will have one assignee at a time, so you need to plan for how different departments will manage their work load. When I looked at your workflow, you have different statuses for the different departments. This is why I suggested having screens with required fields per transition. You could check out…

Hi Filipe, and welcome to Community! If you already have Jira Service Desk, you can add customers and direct them to a Customer Portal for them to fill out their requests and follow the progress. Customers don't need to be a Jira user (or consume a license). They are dealt with separately. You can either add Customers or…

Hi Matthew! As I understand it, your assumption that "although they are endusers for JSD, they will see the agent view" is incorrect. If they do not have Agent permissions in that Jira Service Desk project in Jira, they will not see the Agent view. Go into the permissions, and make sure that it is restricted.…

And welcome to Community!

What warning message are you seeing? Can you attach a screenshot?

Hola Raymundo, Bueno, no veo ningún add-on que se puede ayudar en cloud.... lo siento!

Hi Pourya, If you want to keep your current workflow, add a screen on transition so that the department fills out the required fields and clicks submit and it goes to the next status. Just make sure the buttons make sense to the business users. That way, you don't have to bother with having the system check each time…

Did you go into your my.atlassian.com to generate a new evaluation license?

Hola Raymundo!

You are very inspiring, @Tinker Fadoua , and it always makes me happy to see you here on community and in-person when I can! Also, where's the first photo from? it's beautiful...

Happy 1 year old birthday, Atlassian Community! There have been many positive experiences for me over the last year and as the community grows, I'm sure there will be many more. One of the things I most appreciate about this community is the encouragement to try stuff out and see what works or doesn't work (and to have FUN…

Hi Claire, and welcome to community! Yes, you will definitely be able to create more hierarchy levels to be able to customize to exactly what you need. This documentation should get you started and there are many other community members that can give you first-hand stories of how to get the most out of Portfolio. Have a…

You're very welcome and good luck!

Hi Nestor, and welcome to community! Atlassian has partners that can help you with implementation and sales questions- here's a list. No real Atlassian Sales team, but the partners can help you with your requirements and cost (and community of course!). As far as price, Jira Service Desk is priced super competitively on…

Hi Tom, and welcome to the community! Currently, within Jira Service Desk, there is no way to configure SLAs based on due dates (see this knowledge base article). See if the workaround referenced in that article using Dashboard gadgets might help your team. There is also an add-on called Extension for JIRA Service Desk for…

No idea what would cause that bizarre error message for you :( Glad I could help with the JQL! Carolyn
-
Your Series screen will not let you click on "Basic to switch to "Basic"? If that's the case, what happens when you click on "Basic"? It looks like you are currently in Advanced mode (typing out your filter). The "Basic" link is just a toggle more or less. You're right- I defaulted to Issue Type filters in my answers.…
-
Hi An, and welcome to community! Are your SLA goals using overlapping JQL filters? Is it possible to separate them out so that they don't overlap? That looks like the best practice, as you have seen from the documentation. Carolyn
-
It sounds like it might be a problem with the JQL syntax. When in doubt and it's simple, stick to basic JQL. Now that I re-read your question, you should be able to use the regular Jira gadget called Issue Statistics (just input your project or a filter with multiple projects) and pick Statistic Type: Issue Type, and it…
