Hi Angeline, What output do you want to see with Request Type? You might be able to get what you need with one of those 2 gadgets. Carolyn
-
Hi Ganishka, I would love to do the same. This is currently a feature request that you can watch/vote/comment on. https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JSDCLOUD-2514 Best of luck Carolyn

Hi Ganishka, You can do this easily with the add-on Scriptrunner and the Create sub-tasks automation. Do you know if you have that installed? If you need to have Facilities, IT, etc. work on the issues, then they will be counted in licenses. You do get Jira Core along with Service Desk, as you probably already know. Just…

Yes, I'm curious too- let me know what your testing yields. I will do more testing around this too. Thanks, Carolyn

Glad you figured it out!

Glad to help! If it answered your question, can you please click the gray checkbox to the left of my answer and the vote? It's to officially signal that it answered your question. :) Thanks!

What groups/roles are allowed to edit in this project? You need to check the permissions. You can set up a project, and not necessarily have the correct permissions to edit.
-
Hi Patrick, Did you add your custom field to the View/Edit screens? I'm not sure about "I have not the authorization to modify it" part. Do you have a screenshot for that? Do you have any plugins/add-ons? Also, what groups are you in? In Service Desk, you may have it set up so Agents have permissions to work on the Service…

Hi Angela, The "Delete/Eliminar" option takes this user off of the shared participants list for this request. "Request participants are customers and organizations who can view, comment, and receive notifications about the request. Participants receive the same notifications as the reporter, and can turn off notifications…

Hi Ravindra, You can organize your Confluence instance so that you can separate out customer-specific requirements from the core product feature requirements. You can have a space dedicated to each customer product (this can even be opened up to enable you to collaborate with the customers), and a space dedicated to the…

You're welcome :) Admins always love to hear the word "free", but usually the features will be more limited than the paid add-ons, which is why the Atlassian ecosystem exists.

Great- you're welcome, @[deleted]- that's what community is all about :) Here's more reading up on "Kanplan" using backlog: https://www.atlassian.com/agile/kanban/kanplan https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirasoftwarecloud/using-your-kanban-backlog-856846180.html (the "Organize Stories into Epics" part being key here) @Mike…

Hi Daniel, So is Declined an end point to the Approval flow then? It sounds like maybe you could solely use "Status: Declined" to finish counting time. I'm not sure why it wouldn't show up in the "Stop:" column. If you delete it from the "Pause on:" column, will it show up in the "Stop:" column then?

@Jonny Adams- Thanks for reading and I wish you all the best! It is a very tough exam, there's no sugarcoating that. However, I'm glad to hear from @Gregory Van Den Ham that the exam has been updated based on feedback- that's important too.

Hi Mikkel, Can you check to see what your browser default language is set to? Maybe that's where the disconnect is. Carolyn

Sorry about the duplicate answer post :)

Hi Gary, welcome to community! Once you've installed the Portfolio for Jira add-on in Jira, you can find the permissions in the Add-ons page. Hope this helps!

Hi Kip, and welcome to community! I really like the steps that @[deleted] listed in his answer to a previously asked question. * Write a query like the following "project = <projectname> AND issuetype = "Epic" AND <any other query params to get you just the Epics you wish to rank> * Save the query as a filter * Create a…

Hi Daniel, Which SLA are you configuring? As a side note, you might want to look at using "Closed" as the end point status to finish counting time. That's how many Service Desks work. There is an automation rule you can use to close after 10 days once the resolution has been set to make sure all your workflows hit that end…

Great, glad to help!

Hi Mark, Welcome to community! Can you give examples of "any of the links"? You should be able to get rid of those links by editing the page or the space shortcuts, but it would help us troubleshoot if you could give more info around this (or even better a screenshot). Thanks, Carolyn

Hi Pooja, Welcome to community! Have you seen the answers on this previous post? https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Confluence-questions/Including-an-external-web-application/qaq-p/417796 Hope they help! Carolyn

Can you try it again? Status.atlassian.com shows there were Intermittent errors with Atlassian Cloud services today, so that may have been affecting your instance. You can subscribe to updates there if you want to be alerted any time an incident happens (upper right hand corner on status.atlassian.com, there's a button…

Hi Margaret, There is also a free add-on you can use to do that called Table Enhancer (note that it is only for Confluence Server).
-
Hi Cassi, Welcome to the community! According to this post, it looks like Cloud is only affected by this change to not support nested tables. https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Confluence-articles/Improvements-to-the-Confluence-Cloud-editor/ba-p/691463 Carolyn

This is a beautiful one :)

Nice quotes, @Ignacio Pulgar, especially the Jira related one! This is a generally classic quote, but it can apply to the situation at hand too. "Life is pain, Highness. Anyone who says differently is selling something." -The Princess Bride Happy Friday!

Sure, no problem. It's a good suggestion. You can open a suggestion ticket on the public Jira instance for Atlassian and others to see: https://jira.atlassian.com/projects/CONFCLOUD/issues/CONFCLOUD-31358?filter=allopenissues

Agreed- I have a youtube playlist for getting some energy going!

I browse Imgur "Awww" for a cute animal antics fix. The German shepherd/corgi mix is adorable...
