@Andy - PTC Redundant - I'm going to take a moment to acknowledge Good Guy Andy who made sure his coworkers and friends all made it home safe. You are a wonderful human.
-
@Jan-Peter Rusch - I would at least say you were an early adopter! Great job on the solution design, very impressive. You rock in my book.
-
@Wade Tracy _Boise_ ID_ - I couldn't agree more with what you said about turning off the drive. When I had kids, I promised myself that they'd never have to go through the kind of struggles I did as a kid and have hustled every single day for them since then. Now that I'm at a point in my career where I feel good, I'm…

It's hard to think of you in a role like that @Matt Doar - mostly because you're just so good at what you do now.
-
@Jill Moloney - it's really too bad there aren't more 14 year olds serving alcohol these days, I could use a nice German lager for the price of a Bud.
-
Can we just recognize for a moment that @Kat Warner is still the most responsible person in the room? KAT ROCKS!
-
@Nic Brough -Adaptavist- - I'm happy to hear I'm not the only one who creates stories about customers. That was probably what got me through the retail phase of my life. I had a good laugh over the bottle of whiskey on New Years!
-
@Community Manager - You're not missing anything in food service, but I agree that working in a service industry really makes you appreciate good customer service! I did learn two valuable lessons from my time in food service: 1. Be patient with your waitstaff. Most of your experience is not in their control. 2. When…

for bonus points - pick out the inebriated CAB members.

@Scott Theus - you can allow yourself one evening of fun - I'd tell you it won't hurt, but that just depends on how much fun you get into. Huge high fives for prioritizing your coursework though, you're achieving amazing things - best of luck on your exam!

Took the question right out of my mouth @Thomas Schlegel

Right @Jack Brickey ?? Just saw this and got all giddy :)

Hi @Harish_Kumar - I actually use an addon called SumUp for this purpose. You can find it on the marketplace. https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1211625/sumup-for-jira?hosting=cloud&tab=overview

@Alexandru_Roberto_Tenea - would it feasible for you to copy the 'pending reason' as a customer-facing comment? I don't think there's a way to accomplish what you're asking in terms of displaying a view-only field to the customer.
-
Hey @Mert Karadağlı _ Köstebek Teknoloji _ - hope this answered your question. If it did, please make sure to select Accept Answer so other users will know this has a resolution.
-
@Freddie Wright I'm assuming that when you view the 'old version' there is a description present? The new view tends to hid fields without values, so wondering if that's the cause. Have you tried any other browsers? Might eliminate an issue with Chrome vs. Firefox for instance.
-
Hi @Freddie Wright - hoping we can get you pointed in the right direction! Are you using the standard description field or is it a custom? To my knowledge, there is no way to change the standard fields on the left side, Atlassian has set those based on user experience testing and feedback.
-
Best of luck - and if this answer resolved your question, please mark it as accepted. Have a great day!

Hey @Oscar 88cashbet , I don't know that there's a notification for deleted comments, but there should for sure be one for a new comment created. Have you reviewed your Slack configuration for the app? That is likely the source of the notification failure.
-
Hey @Sandy Siedel - welcome to the community :) I'm not sure I understand your question. What is the goal of the reporting you're trying to generate? Reporting generally relies on field-level information, so if there are data points you want to track against other data points, I don't feel like the workflow has anything to…

Hi @Mert Karadağlı _ Köstebek Teknoloji _ - the standard configuration does not allow customization of these system messages as far as I am aware. If you'd like to add more context, you will need to use a third-party application to send a more rich message and disable the standard.
-
Hi @Alexandru_Roberto_Tenea - go to Project Settings > Request types > Edit fields > Add a field
-
Hey @Florian Schüller - you should be able to edit the permissions for 'edit own comment' to include Service Desk Customers project role.
-
Hi @Kris - do these users still have the permission to manage attachments? Are the pictures viewable to you in the attachments section?
-
Hey @Nassim Mnafeg - you'll want to create a different role for the new users that share some of the permissions but need to access different projects. Are you familiar with configuring permissions?
-
Hi @Gil - Haven't had success using this smart value in the core product offering, but it's something I was able to accomplish with Automation for JIRA. Using this tool, you can use the assignee smart value to identify who the assignee was under the comment.
-
@Scott Theus - I'm staying at Mandalay, but I'll shoot you my email address soon so we can meet up and say hi. I'm sure I'll see you at the community events.

Hey everyone! I'm super excited to be participating in Summit this year. Last year I didn't know anyone, traveled with my boss who was not very invested in the experience, and generally was kind of a deer in the headlights. THIS YEAR - I know a bunch of Atlassians and Champions, am traveling solo, and am ready to throw…
