There should be an option to archive the card, then delete from the archive. 

Another question would be, are the issues you can't transitions associated with a different project than the ones you can move? 

Have you checked the permission tool to verify? You can specify the exact issue and what you're trying to do, as well as who is making the change. This could weed out potential permission issues. 

How long is the screen showing gadgets failed to load? Mine usually only does that for a few moments before it refreshes and prompts me to load more gadgets. Have you tried another browser? 

Do you have any validation criteria not being met on the statuses you are transitioning to?

So glad to hear it worked for you! This is the only method I've found to create permanent links to boards instead of heaving to search for them, agree that 'sticky' links would be great in the future.

I should add that you will need to manually enter the user password and information desired on the user profile screen. 

You can do this by creating an email form template outside of JIRA, and de-select the option to send a portal invitation.

You could also try adding a custom link to that specific board:

I was 100% lost when I transitioned while this was in the 'beta' phase. The magnifying glass icon is your friend. By clicking this you have access to issues, boards, and projects at-a-glance. Think of this as your new landing area. Click Magnifying glass > View all Boards > Then select the one you're looking for.

There isn't a limit. Some companies have thousands of projects and no problems. 

Two things I can think of are that fixversion isn't on the edit screen OR the resolve issue permission is not set to allow access. (Versioning is included in this permission)

Are the permission schemes identical as well? 

If you remove the user from any user-assignable fields, you will not be able to re-assign them. This basically archives the information, so keep that in mind. 

Hi Amber, Are you deleting the user from Confluence AND JIRA? Or are you maintaining an account on JIRA? I've deleted users in the past from both and have not seen any negative effects. The user contributions are still there and their user name just shows as inactive.
