You get to be Angelina Jo-di LeBlanc from here on out. Wow! Do you think it has something to do with the artificial coloring or is it something in the cinnamon flavor? That sounds awful to suddenly be allergic to your favorite candy. We have a candy in the states called 'Boston Baked Beans' that are really just peanuts in…

Oh, I love goat cheese. Nice and stinky. Creamy. Delicious! I'd like to offer that instead of abolishing it from the Earth, you slightly alter your design and instead zap all the cheese (and goats) to a private island where I will live out my days eating goat cheese and jam sandwiches. I would, without a doubt, smash the…

If I'm going to throw anything at you, it's going to be a Star Wars box set.

Art Nouveau so gooooood. These are fantastic.

I just cackled in my office. It wasn't pretty. People turned around.

Another idea here as well, are you the customer AND the tech on this item? Wondering if this is just a testing scenario having a problem or live issues. There used to be an issue where if you were the assignee and the customer, you couldn't get a survey because you could effectively rate yourself up. Haven't used the…

Thanks for the screenshots Adrian, those really help. Hope you can understand that this is a common question that comes up, and most don't understand the correlation between status and resolution. Can you also provide a look at your notification settings?
-
Want to echo @Daniel Eads {unmonitored account}' advice to use the JQL query. You're probably going to find a big list of issues with that field missing. Status vs. Resolution can be a tough concept when you're new to JIRA, I had to perform an enormous batch update after a few months before realizing this was a problem in…

Happy you were able to answer your own question! I was going to suggest checking the report filters and labels. By the way, warm welcome to the community!
-
Hi Alexis, are you talking about displaying a jira issue within confluence? In what ways beyond linking would you expect to be able to associate the two? Have you tried the macro {JIRA}? What this will do is display the JIRA link, the current status, and the issue summary on your Confluence. If I misunderstood your…

Hey Sergio, Sounds like an interesting use case to keep all child tickets organized. Hope someone can assist you!

Another service that I know integrates with Pager Duty is Zapier. This is not a marketplace app, but a third-party integration site.

Here is an example of some of the notifications automation options within Automation for JIRA
-
Hey Rick, I highly recommend checking out some of the really great addons for JIRA in the marketplace. One that I have used consistently is Automation for JIRA. If you're comfortable with writing scripts, another good one is Scriptrunner. These add ons will extend the automation of JSD and allow for a lot of customization…

I actually had no idea this was a thing... HERE WE GO

The thread isn't letting me post the perfect picture. I has a sad.

Hey Tammy, Sounds like there's two objectives here: Set up notifications for account managers on issue create AND allow the submitting user to select only their account manager from a set list. Do the account managers have a separate group or role? Go into your custom fields area and navigate to your account manager field,…

Ahhh, gotcha. In your original post you spelled out Cun-FLUence. First thought was uh... Cun is a weird way to say it. I'm picking up what you're putting down though. The weird google browser assistant accentuates the CON. Not that the other guy is doing it wrong, but definitely sounds like a regional difference.

@Kesha Thill For the Win! I love hearing about how Atlassians work ^_^
-
I agree with @Bryan Trummer - ReleaseTEAM, if you go to workflow options and add this to the current workflow, you will certainly be able to see it on the board options. Associating the new status with the workflow is vital to seeing it within that project.

@Brittany Wispell started an article on this for ACP-300 just a little bit ago, you should check it out! https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Training-Certification/Atlassian-Certifications/td-p/786968

I laughed out loud when you wondered if he was trolling the class. I mean, dictionary.com says it's Con-fluence (junction of two rivers), which is how I've always pronounced it. I don't recall hearing anyone at the last Atlassian Summit call it Cun-fluence either. Weird! People always pronounce things differently due to…

Hi Prasad, There are a number of resolved answers that you may find helpful for this question. https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-questions/Workflow-with-Approval-s/qaq-p/339 From an out-of-the-box standpoint, it is possible to configure your workflow in such a way that you have statuses and approvers. There are also…

Hey Clint, I don't want to speak for teams who may have used JSD for your specific business use case, but here are the benefits I can see from experiences implementing across non-IT teams: - Requests/Issues don't live in a mailbox anymore This was the biggest win for our non-IT teams (everyone, really). There were so many…

Glad we got an answer for your question, have a great day!
-
When you go to configure the columns, you should have the ability to drag linked statuses to the columns as well. Can you try that out?
-
Did you map the statuses in the configuration to each section?
-
@Monique vdB, no Barcelona for me. It was difficult enough getting away to Summit when I live in the same state! The struggle is real, and I'll see you in Vegas 2019!

This article is an ESSENTIAL read for anyone who is considering a change of scenery. I was just having a conversation with my husband recently around this very thing because he's looking for a new opportunity. He has been a public servant in some capacity or another for the last 12 years, and is having a hard time…

Hey Kartheek, It was my understanding that Kanban items stopped displaying in the last column after 14 days.
