Hi Russ, welcome to the Community. You want to avoid posting your direct instance address in the future. Some companies have security concerns about posting information such as this publicly. Are you certain that you have JIRA Service Desk trial as well as JIRA? The applications are purchased separately. If you are sure…

What I'd propose is that you create an 'intake' status of some kind, and assign a 24 hr (8 business hour) target on that SLA. You can use the standard JIRA automation to transition to an 'active' status once that SLA has breached. That transition would kick off your "actual" SLA. Sound like something that might work for…
-
Off the cuff, without further information, I'd ask if you have considered creating a separate calendar of hours and SLAs for this specific customer.
-
Hey Chris, welcome! When you say the clock doesn't start ticking until the next business day, do you mean that these requests are submitted after your business hours?
-
I think you could definitely get Automation for JIRA to work this out. I'd advise from a scriptrunner perspective, but I'm SO BAD at code. Here is a quick mock of something I think would work (haven't tested, but it's a start). For example: - SoftwareTicket-12 is linked to JSDticket-5 - Organization in JSDticket-5 is…

Also want to wish you a warm welcome to the community!

Atlassian tools generally scale with user additions. If you enable self-signup, you'll see pricing go up as your number of users scales. You can always check the billing section of your settings to see an estimate of where you're at currently.
-
Awesome @[deleted]!

I think the beauty of Atlassian products is how open they are! While I do agree that it's not optimal this isn't built-in, you can surely do anything with a good developer and some time to devote to the APIs. Unfortunately my coding skills are terrible at best, ha! I've had to lean heavily on integration services that make…

You can't restrict access to the Activity and Your Work as far as I am aware.
-
Hey Rich, I thought this was dictated under 'Further Configuration' in the confluence settings panel. You can direct which screen your users land on when they log in.
-
I learned on cloud, so the complexity didn't strike me until I used server and then had to go back to cloud. Sigh.
-
Glad to hear you're up and running. The Community is always here if you need us :)
-
Hey Louis, I'd say to look into a third-party integration service such as Uni.to, Workato, or Zapier to accomplish this sort of task. I'm not aware of any addons that will facilitate your requirements on the marketplace. Hoping others may be able to chime in if they know of any.

Always appreciate more eyes @Steven Behnke!
-
I'm on cloud, so it might look a bit different when you're editing, but here you go.
-
Hey Scott, follow the instructions that Jack laid out. You will need to select Actions > Edit Permissions > Assign Issues > Click 'Remove' and then select the role you'd like to stop having reassign access.
-
Hi Scott, did you remove that permission from the 'default' role? The fastest way to find out where your permission scheme is funky is to go to the permission helper. You can navigate there by going to 'Admin' in an issue and clicking permission helper. This tool is great for self-servicing while you learn the ropes.
-
@Monique vdB, yes. It has absolutely made a huge difference in day-to-day responding. The first response to a user now doesn't have to be 'are you on server or cloud?'
-
@Thomas Schlegel, I need your sassiness, so you can come too.
-
Another idea is that you can provide a bit of context around the selection of cloud and server to help users who don't know. Or information on where they can locate that information.
-
It has been INCREDIBLY helpful to me to know which specific cloud or server product a user is asking about. There are such huge differences in functionality that I'd find myself answering from one perspective when they needed another. Even the UI differences are critical when providing screenshots. I don't think it would…

You're welcome Irina, happy to assist whatever way I can if you have questions.
-
@Tinker Fadoua, you're too sweet. I appreciate you sharing as well :)
-
@Nic Brough -Adaptavist-, those are awesome! Do you play tabletops as well or just enjoy the painting hobby? I heard there is a much larger community of miniature painters in every country besides the US. My husband is into miniature wargaming (warhammer mostly), and I like to browse the shops when he goes for new models.…

@Manon Soubies-Camy wonderful color choices on those. Love the color in your scarf. Sweaters are something I've never had the patience for, I've started no less than five raglan patterns and just frogged them all later. I prefer small projects like hats and kid clothing. Are you a member of Ravelry?
-
So cool @Alana Fernando! Is that a tiny Baymax I spy??
-
Love these @Scott Theus! Kayaking is one of my favorite summertime hobbies :D I used to be a part of the reddit exchanges, but I kept getting paired with people who never sent anything. Eventually I was so bummed out that I stopped participating altogether.
-
wow @Thomas Schlegel, your paintings are excellent. I enjoy the darker photographs as well. Something about stark contrast gives me that nostalgic feels. You have a keen eye for tonal balance. Your photo of Oslo is particularly striking.

Wow, so beautiful!
