This is a great one! In a perfect world, every organization would see the proposed benefits, but some are 'stuck in the mud' for lack of a better term. In my org, we started small with one agile team as a proof-of-concept, and are hoping to spread the agile bug elsewhere. Would be super interested to hear Dom speak on…

Quarter-hourly, I like it! Certainly makes them at least think twice before reaching out during off-hours. I'm increasingly reliant on Alexa to keep track of all the nonsense I shout at her every day, which Jeff Bezos really loves.

I won't be in Barcelona this year, but if you make it out to Vegas next year, I'll see you then! I'd love to swap stories. As you can see, I clearly hate the whole place and never want to go back.

You just wrote the story of my life. We've got five in the house, and four pets. It feels like most weekdays are spent just trying to keep the house from exploding. It sounds really dumb, but I take like a day of PTO every month just so I can stay home when the family is gone and clean my house. It's the only thing that…

Might want to try clearing the cache on the browser your team is working in.

I really want to use onenote more fully than I do now, but can't seem to make it a habit. I do use the steam app a lot though to stay informed of their sales. Most-recently I've used it to nag my oldest son through chat, which I'm sure he's thrilled about.

Great! Glad to hear it. Don't forget to make this as solved and have a great week.
-
I missed your post somehow @Scott Theus, but just reading that last paragraph gave me shivers! Man, that scene is so epic.
-
this reminds me so much of Burning Man. All the feels.

I like the addon 'Automated Log Work' because it's simple to use and provides enough configuration without being too bulky from an administrator standpoint.

Hey Sharon, I found a similar request here in another thread, would this help you: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-questions/How-to-calculate-the-time-in-open-status/qaq-p/639181
-
Hi Omair, I think the refresh rate can be modified to either manual or a set increment of time (lowest is 15 minutes auto-refresh) Can you confirm if this widget is configured to auto-update?
-
Another thought is that the customer may not have the 'create issues' permission in the project.
-
Hi Adrienne, In your Customer Permissions settings, is the option turned on that your team has to add customers to the project or that anyone can email? Similarly, in Jira Service Desk configuration in global settings, do customers have the ability to sign up by sending in a request?
-
Hey Ivan, I have trouble with this as well when accessing the marketplace from the web. The only way I've found to be able to install marketplace apps is to go to settings within your application > add ons > Find new addons From there you can search and install. I raised this issue to Atlassian, but haven't seen any change…

Since you're looking for a direct tie-back to the action item, then I think even a separate Confluence section where 'Resolutions' live would be a good alternative. You can have a link in the action item that will go back to a page where that item is expanded into more detail and/or what steps were taken to resolve.
-
Hey Kevin, Since you're familiar with Atlassian products, then you know the lengths to which Atlassians go to create a cohesive and integrated platform across their products. There are definitely ways to show JIRA project and issue links on confluence pages dashboard-style, and plenty of other third-party apps that have…
-
Hey Krystal - What do you think is the biggest detriment to using the comments in response to completing an action item? One possibility I can think of is to actually amend the comment with details on how it was completed, but this seems just as clunky. Another idea might be to include a page link in the action item to a…

I wholeheartedly agree that off-work time is both more and less accessible when you're in a constantly connected time. It's really hard for me to take a day off and not check my email because it's just right at my fingertips. However, like you, I'm determined to make sure that I'm giving my family and myself full attention…

Love Last Pass and totally agree on the remote baby monitor! Ours has quieted my mom brain in many times of need and allows me the ability to rest the anxiety of whatever may be going on at home.

I think 107 is like the really HIGH end of summer life, but who knows what future years hold. Typically we're in the high 90s except for the last few weeks of July/early August. Humidity isn't like the southern United States, but hovers around 30-40% usually. Not crazy, but still miserable some days. Other than the heat…

Haha @Ollie Guan, that's awesome. Silk plants would stop me worrying when I take vacation and my plants get thirsty. Do I spy a Christmas Ornament on your desk as well?
-
Super handy, @Tinker Fadoua, thanks for sharing!!
-
That's great! I see new root growth on mine, so very hopeful that over the winter it doesn't get mad about the lack of sun. I agree that the best way to raise an orchid is to ignore it. I water mine once a week maybe. I ditched the old stick it came with when I trimmed it, figured she can grow however she pleases, lol. If…
-
hose terrariums look adorable! I love that your dog looks like a tiny sheep and just perches on your desk. How long do you think it took before your orchid grew a new spike? My plant seems to be happily sprouting new leaves, but apparently some orchids get complacent and never grow a new spike. I love it regardless, but…

I SEE WHAT YOU DID THARR!

Gary!!! *meow* I love them. Your palm is so itty bitty. Also, reppin the Mandalorians, I like!
-
Aww, @Thomas Schlegel, I love her! She reminds me of a very fashionable grandmother. You can't beat the aesthetics of those old glass painted ornaments. In my old office I had a 'holiday tree' which had decorations rotated out seasonally. It started as a joke because I was too lazy to take down my little Christmas tree, so…

That's an awesome story @Jens Iwanenko Sometimes those people have got to enjoy feeling semi-anonymous, I don't know if I'd be comfortable with instant recognition wherever I went.

I was distraught when they killed grooveshark. So many lists, so carefully curated.
