@Dave Rosenlund _Trundl_ Can I please have a slab of rock and a chisel to carve that in stone? :) I'm glad you included the concept of context here. Not just on the mere information/data level but on the organizational, management, and judgement level. Yes, it's important to 'set the scene' for any vibe coding or content…

Hi @Camilla Harp Hope this helps, it shows how to create a new child page and edit a page - you can either click the Edit button or press E on your keyboard. If you don't see the Edit button, then you don't have permissions to edit. In this case, speak to your Confluence admin (manager, IT, Devops...).

Hi @Dan Zhang I'm not familiar with your university's setup in their Atlassian orgnization. Having said that... I was an organization (a unit of Atlassian products that belongs to a single business entitity) and Confluence admin in my previous company. After I left, the company deactivated my account. The email still exist…

Not exclusive to DC. When working on long pages, especially if I keep them in edit mode for a while, they tend to jump to the top for no apparent reason. I think it has something to do with autosave / caching....
-
@Stavros_Rougas_EasyApps - important point that you made. Space Content manager IS limited to a single space.
-
Hi @Jon-Paul Sun and welcome to the Commnity. Simply use Content Manager - there's no need to try automate everything :) You open the any parent page and check the Label column. You can just look and see if the pages have the label applied or not. There's also Pages Manager (free app) that allows for bulk change of labels.

Hi @Sofia Martin There are two options to embed content in Confluence cloud. * smart links * iframe macro Yes, authentication is an issue - to ensure your links work, you must sign into the whatever service you're embedding the link from in the browser. For example - if you're embedding a Google doc from your Company's…
-
@Arkadiusz Wroblewski Smart links work fine - providing your Atlassian org is connected to Google. Iframes may be more complex but if both environments share the same SSO... I tested a couple of options and smartlink/iframe-link combinations. Heck, I even managed to embed a private Google Slides presentation in a Scroll…

Hi @Alana Strawbridge Depending on your use case, embedding spreadsheets stored centraly in cloud (like Google Docs, iCloud, etc.) might be a better option.
-
@Dave LIAO That's a great idea :) I've been WFH for 6 months now and could use a bit of an commotion. My closest IKEA is just 5 subway stops away!

Hi @Robert Sargent Check this Atlassian post on how to get in touch with their Support to resolve login issues. https://community.atlassian.com/forums/Loom-articles/Need-help-with-your-Loom-account-Here-s-how-to-contact-Support/ba-p/3201201

Hi @Robin Landry If your camera and microphone work with other apps, in sytem settings of your computer operating system, check that the app (and/or the browser) have permissions to use microphone and camera. This a screenshot from a Mac but Windows would be similar.

Decathlon and IKEA :) When I walk into a Decathlon, I usually stop at the first assistant to tell them 'hi, I'm dressed like your model on page 35 of your catalogue' just to avoid suspicion I'm stealing their goods :D Price/performance ratio of their clothing and equipment is excellent. I used their stores in Britain,…

Thanks for putting this together @Brittany Soinski I'm bookmarking this to share with stranded users as there's plenty of folks who have Loom billing or account issues, very often related to their old Loom account migration to the Atlassian account.

Hi @Lana S I faced a similar label issue about 2 years ago. I saw duplicate labels, labels with typos that I entered on a page and immediately removed and never used again. It was solved by triggering a site re-index. There's no button to do it in Confluence cloud but there are two options: * you can ask Atlassian Support…

And that's before you bring in the concept of Technical PMs or Technical POs, whatever that is, into the mix. I experienced that in a company of less than 500 people. Which was ridiculous. Another problem was that 80% of Technical PMs were developers, which would explain both the technical bit and the why the PM bit was…

Here's more, it's official https://confluence.atlassian.com/cloud/blog/2026/03/atlassian-cloud-changes-feb-23-to-mar-2-2026#AtlassianCloudchangesFeb23toMar2,2026-confluence

Hi @Lorenzo Betto I tried three sites and cannot see it either. It looks a development feature but it may be possible that Atlassian is slowly rolling it out as public beta. This might also be a case of a prematurely released docs. I would certainly welcome the feature :)
-
Hi @Andrew Stout If you're using a cloud service such as Google drive in you company, you should be able to 'embed' the video as smart link or using the iframe macro (on Confluence Cloud). Another factor to consider is the attachment size - on Cloud, the default is 100MB but can be increased.

@Jack Brickey It's most likely an Atlassian org of Decathlon https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Decathlon_(retailer) and thus unlikely to be a free tier Also: https://community.atlassian.com/forums/Questions/Can-t-log-in/qaq-p/3109818 They need a better internal support site :)
-
Hello @Meriem LAHIANI You have reached Atlassian Community, a public self-help forum. We cannot administrate your Atlassian organization and give you access. Please, contact your Confluence administrator (typically somebody from your IT / DevOps department to resolve the issue. (also, pls, do not share your private details…

@Prakash Singh Chauhan It's not in the More Actions menu. You can use either the keyboard shortuct that @Arkadiusz Wroblewski suggested or click 'i' in the menu in the bottom right corner.
-
Hi @Chris Pearson This is Kris from K15t, maker of the Scroll apps. As @Arkadiusz Wroblewski said, if his remedies fail, do get in touch with our support team.

Somehow, the Pokemon craze completely bypassed me and pretty much everyone I know from my generation. And my then location, perhaps. It did register, though, partially because of the flashing video effects controversy, some church figures taking issue the name (poke demon, duh!....). And then... we're having some agile…

Hi @Zhenya Elfimova _Actonic_ As has been said, a well defined use case will often drive where and what you look for. I'm really a Confluence person but the principle is the same. * Define your use case. * Try native options.* think outside the box, using available tools and features as a proxy * try Community * If native…

Hi @Liesbeth K_ Funny thing is thate ever time Confluence is discussed in the tech writing circles, someone always says... Yeah, Confluence is good for intranets but... :D I built the intranet for my former company, on Confluence, with a twist ;) One space per team (HR, Finance, Marketing, Office Management, IT...) Each…
-
Hi @Jaime B_ I recently wrote an article on using images on Confluence - one part deals with creating image libraries using excerpts. The underlying principles are the same for any content. Among other things... you can experiment with Databases (see the article) - you can configure a DB to display an excerpt - limitation…

Hi @Kunal Ashar What exactly is your use case for moving pages? Maybe there's another solution that will do what you want to achieve.
-
@Meera_Amanullah When you do, please, start a new question as this thread started 7 years ago. That way, whatever we discuss is likely to help more users on the Community. Thanks.
-
Hi @Meera_Amanullah Last versions are not the only thing you need. You also need to 'convert' links for your Viewport space. Otherwise links between pages in your source space will move to the target (Viewport space). As a result, links in your Viewport site will lead to Confluence. Facing the same problem as you in my…
