  • Hi @Christopher_Collins If I understand this correctly, you want multiple people to check they've accomplished individual steps in a single process. If the number of users is manageable, you can use a table. User 1User 2 User 3 Step onecheck markcheck mark check mark Step twocheck mark check mark check mark Step threecheck…
  • Hi @Sven-Nils_Kossow As a general rule, you can embed content from private cloud sources in Confluence (as a smart link or iframe) providing those sources are using the same authentication method. For example, if your Confluence (Atlassian organization) uses the same SAML SSO as the cloud storage (Sharepoint), it should…
  • Hi @Dirk Desmet Importing anything to anything else is always a hit or miss. A couple of months ago I tried to import various HTML doc sets into Confluence and the results were subpar. From empty pages, to everything crammed into a single page... and formatting was all over the place. Some images were there, some were…
  • Hi @Ines Sadouk I tested it just before posting my answer just to be sure. On Cloud. I created two expands with text: yabba dabba doo. Searched for dabba, it found two, and as I moved through the results, the expands would open.
  • Hi @Daniel Lupton I would contact the good folks at Comala (now part of Appfire) at https://support.appfire.com/page/support I used to use their apps for years and they were always quick to respond.
  • Hi @Ines Sadouk and welcome to the Community. The short answer... no. The idea behind the expand macro is that you, as a reader, only open it if you need it... upon reaching the expand macro. However... if you're looking for something on the page and use the browser's CTRL-F (Command-F on a Mac), the search will still find…
  • Hi @thomasagius I see. So presumably, when you go to the Attachments page (that lists all the attachemnts / images on a given page), you can still see them, correct? Last week, I did experience images randomly not rendeding properly on ONE site that I was playing with. It usually worked fine after I refreshed the page. And…
  • Hi @thomasagius and welcome to the community. How do you insert the images onto pages? (From the content structure point of view.... repeated nesting of information is not among the best practices as readers are increasing more likely to lose the thread and/or miss the 'expand' option in your specific case.)
  • Hi @Sagar Singh Rawat If you need access to a specific Confluence page / space, you have to raise the issue with your Confluence admin. Or, depending how your company works, for example, if you're deploying SAML SSO, your IT department. This is a community forum and we cannot access your Confluence. Also, not even…
  • Hello @Pricilla I do not have a direct Notion to Confluence experience but by now I'm a veteran of migrating documentation from other tools into Confluence. I wrote a short blog post about documentation migraton that summarizes best practices. Me and @Matt Reiner _K15t_ also did a live webinar on the subject. You may find…
  • @Max Lim _ScriptRunner_ and @Bruce Michelsen If you need advanced PDF and HTML export customization options, you know where to find us :)
  • Hello @Susheela_Kushwaha There might be a solution but since your use case, by definition, combines features that are mutually exclusive, and that would apply to pretty much any documentation platform, there will be some compromises. But I think that the solution I'm outlining here covers about 80% of your use case. Since…
  • Hi @Sami Shaik Thanks for the detailed walkthrough. But I'm afraid the issue is deeper. The good folks of Atlassian are trying to figure out why it haven't rolled out to my Premium site and how to get it there :)
  • Hi @Mohammad Mahyar ahmadi and welcome to the Community In the link you posted (rest API calls question), I can see your answer, see the screenshot. I've experienced the same thing a couple of months ago and it appeared to be a glitch. I'm going to raise the issue with Community managers.
  • @Wolfgang Lutz It's a trade off :D In my trade, the lack of file management features is an annoyance. Stuff that matters to me works better. That's why people create their own file libraries - a page/pages (or even spaces) with attachments such as images placed in excerpts or synced blocks macros, and then they reuse those…
  • Yeah, checked that too a few days ago. And now. That's all I have. The latest news from two years ago :)
  • Well, @Evgenii , you're lucky to have this feature available. I've checking every day since it was announced over a month ago and it's still missing from my Premium Confluence :( There's no "Status and approvals" setting in my Site (and spaces).
  • Hi @Wolfgang Lutz This is one of the strangest 'feature' of Confluence Cloud. But afaik there's no way to get a file from the page's attachment page onto an actual page. (think there's also a ticket begging Atlassian to make this available...)
  • Hi @M_ Ir I used a free Chat GPT, gave it the following prompt and it generated a printable PDF with lines (including dotted lines as guidelines for lower case letters). "can you create a printable page (file) with lines to be used for writing practice?"
  • Hi @Frazer Horsefield This article deals precisely with Loom account issues - it includes the link to a no-login contact option. https://community.atlassian.com/forums/Loom-articles/Need-help-with-your-Loom-account-Here-s-how-to-contact-Support/ba-p/3201201
  • Hi @Andreas_Ulvig On top of what @Arkadiusz Wroblewski suggested, I recommend reading the following article Atlassian Jira/JSM/Confluence Free Tier Inactivity & Data Deletion Timeline by @Trudy P Claspill It contains explanation of deactivation policies and offers some remedy options.
  • Oh... idioMs! OK, that makes sense now :) "Cemeteries are full of indispensable men." Shared with me by my manager/mentor in my first job (national daily newspaper) after I ended in Emergency with exhaustion shock. (technically a quote not an idiom but since the authorship is disputed...)
  • Hi @monica_ros_artbridgesfoundation_org There was a system error affecting public links (and probably PDF exports). It's reported as resolved. https://confluence.status.atlassian.com/ Aug 12, 2026 Confluence intermittent errorsResolved - On August 12, 2026 some Confluence users utilizing anonymous access via public links,…
  • That seems like a system-wide problem ... that spilled over to PDF exports. https://confluence.status.atlassian.com/ Aug 12, 2026 Confluence intermittent errorsResolved - On August 12, 2026 some Confluence users utilizing anonymous access via public links, may have experienced a 'Something went wrong' error message. The…
  • Hi @Greg Gillies As this is a public forum, we cannot access your Atlassian account check the billing history. This article explains how to contact Atlassian specifically about Loom account…
  • Hi @Stacey Larter and welcome to the community. A former radio producer here. I don't think Loom has built in tools to clean the audio track of random noises. There is a background noise filter but the feature is intended to remove steady background noise (air conditioning hum, street noise, etc.) You can certainly remove…
  • Hi @jj3042 As this a public Community forum, we cannot handle your account issues. However... this article might help, it's specifically about Loom account issues https://community.atlassian.com/forums/Loom-articles/Need-help-with-your-Loom-account-Here-s-how-to-contact-Support/ba-p/3201201 There's a section for 'no…
  • Hi @Rhys Gottwald If I understand you correctly, what you're describing is 'conditional content' or 'content variants'. For example, in my proof-of-concept - https://universal-imports.scrollhelp.site/datasink/Working-version/windows/troubleshooting-common-issues - I have single Confluence page but it contains content…
  • Hi @Evgeniya Gerasimova I think our Scroll PDF Exporter for Confluence can do that. We can certainly add a watermark with the export date... See the Community article on the watermark feature. @Ericka Bastías _K15t_ - can you confirm? Disclaimer: I work for K15t, maker of Scroll PDF Exporter.
  • Hi @Kasyah Sydnor Yes, you can. How exactly, depends on a lot of variables and details of your requirements. For example... How does your typical policy document look like? Is it a single page? Is it a collection of pages? Confluence gives you plenty of options to see and monitor details that you listed. For example,…
