easiest way, if your Jira menu is on top you have server, if the menu is on the left you have cloud
-
That means you are not the owner of the filter. Only the owner (usually the one who created the filter) can do what I wrote before (which is what you asked)
-
I think you can using the API You will have to try it. Server API: https://docs.atlassian.com/software/jira/docs/api/REST/7.6.1/ Cloud API: https://developer.atlassian.com/cloud/jira/platform/rest/v3/
-
Go to admin section -> System -> Advanced Settings look for: jira.bulk.create.max.issues.per.import change it from 250 to what ever you want
-
When you are viewing filter, there is a link "Details" near the button "Save as" Click "Details" a pop-up will come up, click "Edit permissions" Now "add viewers" by "Group" (choose the group and click add) Once finish click save.
-
This will give you the value of parent issue type: issue.getParentObject().getIssueTypeObject().getName()
-
Hi @henri philakham . I did not understand the issue. You don't how to import, or you tried and failed? If failed, share us the steps you have done and the error you got. If you don't know how to, here is an easy and clear guide: https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver/importing-data-from-csv-938847533.html
-
Unfortunatelly, i can't think of a way doing that in cloud. In Server you can do it because you have more options to play around... (using 3rd party add-ons)
-
Hi @[deleted] , All issues will be imported without any problem. However, Sprints cannot be moved, ranked cannot be moved. So your issues in the Sprint and in the backlog will be imported, but without ranking so you will loose their order, and without sprints, so all will go to backlog. There is no way to import Sprints,…

Hi @Tcelishchev Nikita , Use this: https://<your-jira-url>/rest/api/2/issue/<issuekey>?expand=changelog This will return you (in the json) another attribute called "changelog"
-
Hi @Tcelishchev Nikita Using the API you can investigate the "changelog" of an issue. There you will see when an issue started/ended to be in a specific status. It will be something like: * issue changed from "open" to "in progress" on May 21 2019 13:00 * issue changed from "in progress" to "done" on May 21 2019 18:00 With…

Hi @Neeta Jain , You can import attachments to JIRA with csv import. To do so you have to specify the attachment URL in the csv. The attachment URL have to be publicly access. In your case you said the URL have no public access and that is why it's not working for you.
-
Go to your project settings -> issue layout make sure "Epic Link" is there (currently it's probably not), that's the only logic reason
-
Hi @Maziar Sojoudian , of course you are getting 401, there is no authentication header in your request. I know you said username:password is not working anymore, but it does... so maybe you did something wrong. Note that username:password need to be encoded in base64, so for example: useradmin:passadmin…

Hi @DJ Spiess , Have you tried to create issue via REST API without the "jira-rest-java-client-core API" ? Have you tried with "Postman" for example, or simply with "okhttp3" or "Unirest" libraries? Also, are you using Jira server or cloud? Where are you trying to run your code from? (from Jira server or external WS)?

Hi, We can't see your page as we are not allow to log in. Please send a screen shot.

Hi @Ramakrishnan Srinivasan , I never tried to get diff commits between tags. I did managed to get diff commits between 2 branches on the same repo. Any way, retrieving the data has nothing to do with the method I published here. My method simply let you perform REST API calls without the need to hard code your user name…
-
Hi @Prashant Bhosale "created date" can be set only when importing to Jira by csv, and only if the issue not exist. In your case your issues exist already from the API, now the csv will not help you.
-
You can see it boards, in Epic panel, if your board estimation set to show in time estimation and not story point, you will your sum for epic there. If you want to see it by JQL or something else, you will have to use 3rd party plugin
-
Hi @Ramakrishnan Srinivasan , As I understand you are using Scriptrunner, I think it will be better and more simple if you use scripted field. The method I mentioned in my article simply let you connect to Bitbucket/Bamboo without hard coded credentials, getting data with rest api and compare is pure code that need to be…
-
when do you want to create an issue and from where? API is not automation, so it can't be automatically. You need to write your automation, the API gives you the ability to do the "creation" action.

You are welcome @[deleted] :) If this issue is closed please mark my answer as accepted

Hi, What help exactly you need? Have you tried and not succeeded? Can you post your code? You can find best example here: https://developer.atlassian.com/cloud/jira/platform/rest/v3/?utm_source=%2Fcloud%2Fjira%2Fplatform%2Frest&utm_medium=302#api-rest-api-3-issue-post

Hi, You can follow this documentation: https://developer.atlassian.com/server/jira/platform/adding-content-to-the-jira-view-issue-page/ Alternative way, here is an example: @Scanned public class MyClass extends HttpServlet { ... ... ... @ComponentImport private final TemplateRenderer renderer; @ComponentImport private…

Hi @[deleted] This feature not exist in Jira, yet. There is an open request to Atlassian about this: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRASERVER-32563 As workaround, i suggest you to create customfield of type "user picker", than instead mention someone with "@" just pickup the user you want, in your workflow, add…

Hi @jamiewastin This free add-on does exactly what you are looking for https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1220214/select2?hosting=server&tab=reviews

Hi, You need to create rest endpoint with your Python. In Jira Webhooks, put your rest endpoint URL, so once the webhook triggered it will be sent to your rest endpoint url, that triggers your rest method in Python.
